Super Five:The God of Destruction

Chapter 13: 13.Gods at War: The Fall of Beerus

And after seeing the real person, Carlo felt even more amazed than in the comics.

"Is this Angel Vados?"

Carlo thought to himself.

Although he had been the God of Destruction for two years, this was the first time he had seen Angel Vados.

The Vados in front of him—whether it was her appearance, the proportion of her body, or her cold temperament—could be considered perfect.

The only drawback to her might be her light blue skin, typical of angels.

But having spent two years with Whis, Carlo had long stopped caring about skin color.

However, the Destruction God, Champa, next to Vados had a face so gloomy it looked

almost as if it were covered in dark clouds.

"Yo, sister, Lord Champa, I don't know what you two are doing in the Seventh Universe?"

Whis took a step forward and asked straight to the point.

Although he knew very well in his heart what they were here for.

"Weiss, who are these two people?"

"Why can just two humans appear in the Destruction God Realm?"

"And why is that guy wearing the exclusive costume of the God of Destruction?"

"Where is Beerus? Hurry up and call him out for me!"

Champa asked loudly, his voice full of tension.

In fact, the moment he appeared, he saw the one wearing the costume of the God of Destruction. He already knew that all that Vados had said before was true.

But he still couldn't believe it!

He didn't want to accept that his brother had passed away like this.

"I'm sorry, Lord Champa."

"Lord Beerus disappeared two and a half years ago, along with the death of the Realm King God."

Looking at the Destruction God Champa with a troubled expression, Whis spoke with a bit of sympathy.

He knew that Beerus and Champa were two brothers. Although they often bickered, they still held great importance in each other's lives.

Beerus's death had deeply affected Champa.

When Whis finished speaking, Champa's face grew even darker.

It had now been confirmed by Whis himself—his brother Beerus was indeed gone...

"Yes... No! No!!"

"Beerus, you fool, how could you leave without my permission?"

"How could you...?"

Champa's emotions surged like an uncontrollable tide!

His voice echoed throughout the Destruction God Realm.

A powerful wave of energy radiated outwards.

Trunks quickly stepped in front of Carlo, trying to shield him from the force, and his body staggered back.

The immense pressure was overwhelming for him.

After all, his current strength was still far too weak.

Especially in front of a God of Destruction—he was essentially powerless.

Carlo, on the other hand, simply narrowed his eyes, observing Champa.

In fact, when Carlo had been watching Dragon Ball Super, at first, he thought the relationship between Beerus and Champa was strained.

The two of them were always exchanging insults, playful jabs, and challenging each other...

But by the time of the Dragon Ball SuperTournament of Power, when the Sixth Universe was erased, Carlo realized that the bond between the two brothers was much stronger than he initially thought.

Now, Carlo could fully understand the grief Champa was going through.

As Champa's emotions slowly began to stabilize, the chaotic energy surrounding him began to settle.

The storm of force in the air began to subside as well.

Then, the Destruction God Champa looked at Whis with cold, sharp eyes and asked, "Who did this, Whis?"

"Who killed Beerus?"

A being cannot come back from death, especially a God of Destruction.

Once a God of Destruction dies, it's impossible for them to be revived—unless it's with the King's direct approval!

He couldn't bring his brother back...

But he was determined to find the person responsible and make them pay.

"Lord Champa, unfortunately, people cannot be resurrected after death, so please take some time to mourn."

"My heart feels the same sorrow as yours for Lord Beerus."

"As for the person who killed Lord Beerus, that individual was already dealt with by Trunks after the death of the Realm King God."

Whis spoke in a calm tone, trying to comfort Champa.

To be honest, it was the first time Whis had seen Champa this angry.

It showed how deeply he truly cared for Beerus.

But Beerus had been gone for two years now!

A new God of Destruction had also taken his place in the Seventh Universe.

So, there was no more chance of reversing the situation.

After spending time with Trunks, Whis knew the full story. The reason Beerus had disappeared was because of the Demon King Dabra, who had killed the Realm King God.

As a result, Lord Beerus had disappeared alongside him.

But in the end, Trunks had eliminated Dabra.

"Trunks, who is it? Is it him?"

Champa pointed at Carlo and asked coldly.

"No! This is Lord Carlo."

"He's the new God of Destruction in our Seventh Universe."

"I'm talking about Trunks, it's him."

Whis shook his head, then pointed at Trunks.

After Beerus's disappearance, Whis's abilities as an angel had also been limited.

At first, it was impossible to piece together exactly what had happened or why Lord Beerus was no longer around.

But over time, everything had come into focus.

"Wait..."

"Are you saying this human kid was somehow involved in the events that led to Beerus's disappearance?"

"Or perhaps he played some role in causing it?"

Champa glared at Trunks angrily. His energy flared up as he clenched his fists, purple destructive energy erupting from his body.

Anyone connected to Beerus's disappearance would not be spared.

"This..."

Trunks looked up at Champa, terrified.

Didn't he fight against Dabra and protect the Earth?

How could he be blamed for Beerus's fate?

And just then, Carlo stepped forward and blocked Trunks.

Looking at Champa with an indifferent gaze, Carlo said coolly:

"Calm down, Champa. This is the Seventh Universe, not a place for you to throw your tantrum
