To occupy an Ascension spot, it required not only a powerful Reverend-order powerhouse but at least 11 strong Elite Empyreans.

The limit was up to 100 subordinates, but only 11 Elite Empyreans could use an Ascension spot's eleven buffs.

To successfully ascend to the higher dimension realm, a group had to occupy an Ascension for 1 full hour.

Since the Axis realm only opened once every 100 years and only 100 Reverend-order along with 100 Empyreans could ascend, the competition was fierce.

"To receive the rewards, they have to go to the sky palace of Adriax," Ayaka pursed her lips, a glint passing through her eyes. "The big forces will make their moves. Do you think you can keep Erix and others to yourself?"

"Even if they are oath-bound, the big forces have a way to bypass them," Ayaka added.

"I know," Tenebria nodded. "They can prepare a soul-substitute to redirect the soul-destruction of oath-break."

"You seem calm," Ayaka raised her eyebrows.

"The decision is theirs," Tenebria smiled. "I am not going to prevent other forces from making contact with them."

"Well then, let's see how it goes. When are we going there?"

A day passed by as Erix and others did nothing but rest. No fighting, no training. They just ate and slept long until tomorrow arrived and it was time to go.

When it was time, Tenebria's Reverend-order pet departed—a Purple Emperor Phoenix.

It was five hundred meters long and had a wingspan extending almost a kilometer.

Erix and others sat inside the exquisite phoenix wooden pavilion atop its back as the phoenix took to the sky towards the Sky Palace of Adriax.

"This phoenix is powerful," Erix could feel a strange forcefield surrounding the phoenix, a different kind of power.

"That's the Ruler Field where its rules are exercised. Reverend-order powerhouses have only one additional power than Empyreans—Rule Power," Tenebria smiled. "The rewards you are going to receive are Rule Slates. Although Empyrean-order powerhouses can't form Ruler Field, they can use Rule Slates to create Rule Fragments that can aid in combat."

"Rule Fragments are the powers that you can eventually use and turn into your Ruler Field when you become a Reverend-order, so Rule Slates that can greatly aid in creating Rule Fragments are highly sought after."

"Can we create Rule Fragments without using Rule Slates?" Rin asked.

"Yes and no," Tenebria smiled. "You are not familiar with Rule power, so you can begin to create Rule Fragments. However, once you get a Rule slate and become familiar with how it works, you can create your Rule Fragments."

"Is there a limit to how many Rule Fragments an Empyrean order can form?" Kenshin asked.

"Good question. There is indeed a limit and that limit is based on your comprehensive aura," Tenebria said before everyone felt a mystical aura field around her that flowed upward in a spiky manner.

"That looks like the aura displayed in Dragon Ball, an animated series that I've sometimes watched when it aired on our little TV," Erix lightly chuckled as he remembered he and his mother used to watch it together while having dinner in their hut-like house in the slums.

"I remember Dragon Ball," Rin grinned. "But I liked Naruto because I could see their martial arts moves sometimes. Well, they weren't that good, but imagination can do wonders and now, we can turn our imagination into reality."

Sameira, Kenshin, and Isabella smiled.

Their normal lives turned upside down with the apocalypse, and now they were here.

Tenebria smiled and continued explaining, "This comprehensive aura can be achieved when you let go of all of your powers and your control over it. This is a type of state you have to achieve, called Harmony state."

"In this state, your comprehensive aura can release. This aura is a measurement of your comprehensive power and the number of Rule Fragments is decided based on this measurement," Tenebria slightly stretched her arm and opened her palm as a number floated above it.

"Every hundred points equal to a single Rule Fragment. Empyrean-order powerhouses' limit is 999 points in their comprehensive aura while Reverend-order is 1000 to 9999."

"Peak Reverend-order, eh?" Erix grinned. "That means you are one of the most powerful Reverend-order."

"But I am not alone," Tenebria wryly smiled. She looked at Erix and others as her eyes showed complex emotions for a second.

"I have something important to talk about," Tenebria adopted a somber expression.

Erix and others were surprised.

"We are going to the Sky Palace to receive rewards. There will be many people of different forces and some people you have defeated in the War of Thrones."

"Their focus will be you," Tenebria smiled. "I knew you were something, but you've surpassed my expectations. You two are amazing."

"That they are," Lilith elbowed Rin with a playful smile.

"They are two crazies," Lily chuckled.

Isabella and others couldn't help but smile.

"Well, you are one powerful bunch and many people want you," Tenebria continued her point as she wryly smiled.

"They will offer you gifts and benefits, with a way to bypass the soul oath you took. And… I am not going to restrain you."
