Team Order

Chapter 4: David

After the last few interviews were over, Travis and the rest all went home (although not everyone had a place to call home). Really, the only person (if you could consider it to be a person) they let in during the interviews was a dog. Since they didn't really choose anybody from the list, they just decided to pick what would be the best choice and even though the dog didn't have grades or degrees/masters of any kind, The Order decided to pick it as a joke, even though they could potentially be killing people by not giving them the place. Although, it wasn't as if they really cared about the consequences of giving employment to a dog instead of an actual human being.

Immediately after entering the house, Pickle jumped straight his tablet. Pickle had obsessions with many weird things, such as "ecchi" and other things that are too "grotesque and unholy" to describe, and openly watches it in the living room. Unnatural and unusual noises emit from his tablet so Travis had to talk him into getting headphones or earplugs where he could keep his own "business" to himself.

Meanwhile, Yellow had a peculiar addiction to Bubble Tea, one of the only drinks that were not removed during the last ten years, along with water. Bubble Tea was one of the rarest and most expensive drinks during these times and Travis was pretty sure that Yellow had at least drank half the remaining Bubble Tea supply in the world.

One of the employees in The Order, David, entered the room. It was a known fact that Travis didn't particularly like David, probably because he was considered to be... too smart.

He discovered the substance known as "Runian", which was the mysterious material The Order made the majority of their weapons with. It had also played a big role for The Order progress quickly to the top and helped achieve their success and which ultimately led the world's downfall. It was also David who built Travis' eye and potentially saved his life. Despite this though, Travis was forever in debt with David, even though David clearly stated that "he needn't to pay him anything but appreciation".

"Sir, I managed to design a fully functioning suit and it could-"

"Good" Travis replied, not bothering to hear what the employee had to say.

"But you didn't-"

"Good" Travis added in, again not giving him a chance to talk.

Usually, David's design would have succeeded and made The Order lots of money within weeks, but due to his bad relation with Travis, only a small proportion of his potential designs get passed through. And with that, David left the room without saying a word.

"And this is why our world has gone down to ruins" Yellow muttered.
