As they entered the cave the Bandit leader was jolted by the alert spell in the cave as this was an intruder he instructed the other bandits to attack whomever entered the cave

He went to his chambers again and collected his weapons and armor ready for the fight ahead they met with Germin who crushed them like bugs with his shield

It didn't take long for Modez's squad to reach the inner chambers of the cave as they were determined to clear the cave fast as to catch everyone in it without missing anyone

They clashed with the bandits a spear was seen flying past Germin with an astonishing speed as it struck the three bandits simultaneously sticking them like marshmallows

The bandit leader was just around the corner peeking at the on going battle he could see that they didn't stand a chance against their antagonists as they looked very strong. His determination was crushed after seeing them he looked aside no one was around he ran into his chamber took all his papers and placed them in a small pouch and ran on the opposite direction of the battle.

As the bandits saw that they could not stand a chance, the second in command shouted to his leader but he could not get any response so he instructed the other bandits to continue holding back the intruders, he went to the leaders chambers he could not see him and the room looked like someone ransacked the place."what the hell!, this crazy leader ran away?!" He exclaimed.

The bandit leader ran till he reached the other outlet of the cave, as he got out, "these crazy guys think I am easy to catch!" He said. While looking at the shiny object on his neck, he knew what it was, he stood straight like a palm tree.

"I think we need to talk" Marci said, she hit the bandit on the neck he fell down like a bag of potatoes, she tied him up and pulled him inside the mountain cave, on her way inside she saw many cages she placed him inside and locked it.

On the other side it was not looking good to the bandits, they were beaten to a pulp others dying in the process. Jender to a moment to go and search every after searching all the chambers, he came across a chamber that was filled with alchemy recipes also the other chamber was filled with beasts remains.

He could not comprehend what was done in this cave at last he found where the hostages were kept but they all looked sick and exhausted.

Aside the chamber there was another ill looking chamber that was closed with a metallic door and had a magic symbol on it he pushed the door but he was pushed back with a gush of strong wind.

He stood up and went to the hostages and opened all the cages and locks and chains that bound them.

They had no energy in them so they just sat there looking disheveled, he went back to his fellow squad members and told him of his findings, they all followed Jender to the told location.

Marci was vigilant because she could not sense anyone on her way in and the cave looked creepy on some points, she decided to be on alert for anything that may happen, she heard voices on one of the cave passages, she could hear Modez and the others speaking so she called them.

They all Jolted, "Woow you came inside we thought you would stay outside watching?", Germin asked.

"I got bored and I have already caught the guy that was escaping so why should I stay there?" Marci replied.

"And where are you all going have you finished off all of them?" She asked.

She took her sword and entered one of the chambers across it there was a desk and a big shelf,"Show yourself maybe u can have an intact body after your death" she said.

The second in command in the bandit gang came out looking docile and like a wet puppy,he could not understand how she knew he was there as he hid himself so well he thought.

"Do you think you can hide so well aanh" she said,

"How did you even know there was a person there?" Germin asked.

She pointed at the uneven shelf and said "how can you not, see everything in here is well arranged except the shelf".

After they tied him and went to take the other bandit that was escaping from the cave and put them in the chamber where there were their victims.

Joles was busy helping the captives by purifying their body with magic, Modez was seen looking at the bag that Marci gave to him from the bandit leader.

Jender was busy caressing his daggers like he was up to no good, Germin was outside looking at the ill looking door with fear displaying on his face.

After Modez finished looking at the document that he was given he went outside the chamber and found Germin terrified of what he saw.

"What is it Germin" Modez asked. He just pointed at the door and said "this is not good,we are in deep trouble".

"What kind of trouble are we in?", Modez asked

"I have seen these weird magic circles before and it was not in a good time, the first time i saw these magic circles, there was so much bloodshed and chaos, if you can remember the dawn of wrath" Germin said.

"Yes I remember that who can not remember the feared stories of the dawn of wrath, But what does that have to do with these magic circles?" Modez asked.

"Those stories you have heard are just the tip of the iceberg, there is so much hidden under those stories, from the people than anyone can imagine".

"You are just making me nervous and curious can you tell me what does those stories and that day mean anything from what were doing here?" Modez asked.
