The crimson princess

Chapter 145: Crimson Titan

Pov Dia,

I returned to the Oni village with the five siblings, who immediately dispersed into the shadows to fulfill their mission.

As for me, I headed toward the center of the village, where I knew Sera would be.

When I arrived, I saw that a party had taken place, but it was now over. The Oni were cleaning up, along with Sera and Yasaka.

I approached Sera from behind and gave her a kiss on the neck.

Dia: "How was the evening?"

Sera: "It wasn't bad, but it lacked a little music. Next time, I'd like you to be there."

After that, I told Sera I would take care of the rest with Yasaka, and she left to attend to her duties as Maou.

Yasaka: "Ah, Dia, you're finally back! What took you so long?"

Dia: "I had to show Kurobei the materials he'll be using, and then I finished all the important administrative tasks."

She looked a bit upset and apologized for wasting my time. I gently caressed her head, saying that no matter when or where, I would always help her if she needed me.

Seeing this little Kitsune blush was so adorable, and on top of that, I could see her tails wriggling with pleasure.

Wait a minute—she has five now?

Dia: "Yasaka, I just noticed you now have five tails. What happened? I'm sure it's not because of some sudden training that would give you an extra tail."

The number of tails a Kitsune, Nekoshou, or other Youkai of this type has is proportional to their power. Though, unlike Kitsunes, Nekoshou don't need nine tails to demonstrate equivalent power.

Yasaka: "The Oni have a sacred water that enhances one's potential, and it works for all Youkai. They offered me some since I hadn't taken it before, which explains the extra tail."

After asking for this sacred water and letting Rimuru analyze it, we traveled to the Tengu village—messengers of the gods—to have them renew their oath of loyalty to the now young princess.

Even with the large group we had, including the Oni warriors who had joined us to serve as Yasaka's force, we made our way to the village rather quickly.

Author's Note: "Time skip: all went well, and Yasaka became the head of the Youkai faction, connected to the Ley Line, and finally met Amaterasu."

The members of my peerage, Sera's peerage, and various high-ranking individuals in the new Youkai government organized a celebration to mark the end of Yasaka's journey. It had taken us nearly a year to reunite all the Youkai, confront the traitors, and deal with those who harassed Yasaka.

The greatest tragedy during this period was the nuclear bomb dropped on two cities, which could have been launched on Kuoh, the city I manage.

In the past,

We decided to take a little break to relax after having traveled in japan for quite some time already. My city had suffered minor damage from American attacks, but nothing too serious.

Just as I thought things were calming down, I sensed planes approaching to bomb my city again. I swear, they'll only receive a one-way ticket to meet Persephone.

As I looked up, I saw a bomb charged with an energy that should not exist.

Dia: "Hell, it won't be the different factions that destroy the world—it'll be the humans."

I could feel that the bomb was powerful enough to destroy the entire city, except for my house, without any issue.

To send a warning to the Americans not to target my city, I decided to summon so many PDD around me that I formed a crimson titan.

The titan's crimson hand caught the bomb and sent it back to its sender.

I made sure all the villagers could see that there was a "god protector" safeguarding the city, but I should never have done that. The population increased massively as word spread.
