The Diary Of A Queer Warlock

Chapter 15: Meeting With A Man-Eating Fairy

Along the way, the fairies were dauntingly rough, not minding that Adrian was dangling at death's grip from how fast they were flying.

Ciara and her fairy flock soon arrived at a secluded cottage after nearly an hour of flight. The fairies descended gracefully and made their way on foot to the cottage.

Flynn and the other male fairy Carlos bore Adrian's body from both ends on their shoulders.

"Grandpa Aldos, we brought you a human" Ciara said with a melodious voice that bore no iota of harm.

"Come in and reveal this human to me" a tired voice echoed in the surroundings.

"I thought he'd snub us" Carlos whispered lightly while the rest nodded with knowing expressions.

Since they were all familiar, they knew the experience with Aldos and also his fetish with humans.

Ciara and the rest just passed through the walls as an entrance since the cottage had no door. The walls made a ripple sound while being passed through before losing their sturdiness and turning to loose curtain for a moment as the fairies walked in.

After the fairies had fully entered, the walls returned to their usual appearance. It turned out the earlier deformation was caused by magical modification.

The mini cottage turned out to be far more spacious like a village within rather than the tiny space one would reckon it to have on a normal day. It appeared that Aldos had some skills magically to be able to tweak reality and manipulate space time.

"Drop him on the ground, I'll get back to him later" the lazy voice spoke again only that this time it could be traced to a middle aged man.

The middle aged man with a goatee was wearing a pair of shorts and his chest was bare. His back had surreal gray fairy wings that complemented the gray color of his eyes and hair perfectly.

A dull cyan halo whirled above his head while he sat crosslegged on the ground.

Ciara and the other fairies didn't think much about what Aldos said and just dropped Adrian off to the ground before they exited the premises, leaving Adrian alone with Aldos alone.

Actually, Adrian had been a mess throughout this past month. He was meeting with strange people on a daily basis that his feeble mind couldn't just keep up with.

First, he had to deal with Jasper, then Devil Ghost and then the five fairies. When he eventually woke up and discovered himself in the company of another strange, he'd likely lose his mind.

"What a fine brat, and with such a moon like soul too, I could probably enter a state of enlightenment for half a year by ingesting this brat's pure soul hehe" Aldos immediately spoke his mind unhinged after chasing away Ciara's team.

He stood up at once. The gray wings behind him fluttered lightly as he did so. Next, his gray eyes focused intently on Adrian who was laying limp on the ground.

Suddenly, invisible attaching threads formed from the crux by manipulating telepathically inclined energy latched onto Adrian's body from just the act of staring that Aldos made.

"Come to me!" Aldos ordered after seeing Adrian's body show some signs of resistance.

It appeared Adrian's soul was passively repelling Aldos but since his subconscious self was trapped due to Ciara's poison, there was little he could do to avoid ending up in Aldos' grip.

Next, Adrian's body teleported in an instant to Aldos' widely opened arms. It happened with the right amount of velocity that it caused Aldos to take a step back even though he had expected it ahead of time.

Aldos then magically cast a spell in form of a gray spinning ball. The ball summoned alot of things before eventually kicking out a medium sized cauldron, the size of three individual aluminum pots stacked together.

Next, a strange gray flame also appeared. The gray flame appeared really dull n it also had a weird touch that felt a bit too dusty. The gray flame floated in midair under Aldos telepathic manipulation.

Adrian was then tossed into the medium sized cauldron. The unusual cauldron actually swallowed up Adrian as a whole without any body parts on display. This was another object of wonder in Aldos' collection.

"Should I chop this brat's body apart or cook his soul alone" Aldos paused to ponder, the gray flame swirling above his palm fluttered between steady and shaky at intervals.

He was having thoughts of cannibalism but outwardly he seemed worried about mixing ingredients for chicken soup.

"Nah, we'll spare the body, I can just scale it apart and give it to Necrolai, she can use him to clone one of her Death Warriors. After all, he can't have such a handsome look wasted by being chopped apart because I need hasty lunch" Aldos grinned at the pronounced thoughts he had just blatantly spoken.

Adrian on the other hand happened to still be in a trance as he had yet to sense the abnormality in the air. Now he also wasn't aware that he was about becoming humanoid soup for a cannibal.

Adrian's trance seemed more painful with each passing minute. His brows furrowed more often and even his heart's pace grew unsteady over time. His hair shot into spikes from the psychological trauma which Ciara's poison helped modify. The longer he spent in the poison's illusions, the shorter his chances of survival.

But maybe due to unconcern or wilful acts of impassion, Aldos just tossed him into a cauldron with the intent to cook him to death while excusing the fact that Adrian's pure soul made him a likable meal on the menu.

Aldos looked at the gray flame intently one more time as though confirming if he had set the temperature right to begin his cooking properly. Next, he gave a nod of satisfaction before he willed the flame to the bottom of the floating cauldron.

The floating cauldron immediately got some heat as soon as the gray flames kissed it's surface. Little sparks flew around and a strange crispy smell crept into the air as the cauldron actively began to cook.
