Chapter 347: Chapter 345: Angry with Sui
"Erina-sama, did you and Sui have a fight?" Hisako asked with a teasing smile.
"Huh? N-no... of course not," Erina stammered, her face instantly turning red as she spoke in a low voice.
But as she thought back to the events of the previous night, her frustration resurfaced.
Last night, Sui had carried her home in what could have been a romantic moment. She had hoped he'd say something sweet to her in that perfect setting. Instead, Sui had remarked that she was as heavy as a piglet and compared her to a puppy that liked to bite.
And worse… he even targeted her ass in that state!
Her buttocks still ached slightly from it, and walking had been a bit uncomfortable since.
It was infuriating!
Hisako couldn't help but find Erina's sulky expression amusing. For the past few days, Erina had been behaving more demurely, almost like a gentle, doting wife. But now, she had reverted to her usual tsundere self after just a short time.
Still, Hisako thought this was for the best. If things were always too peaceful and polite between two people, it could get boring. The occasional spat could only strengthen their bond.
"So, Erina-sama, why not go over and say hello to Sui?" Hisako suggested.
"Hmph! I have no intention of doing that!" Erina pouted, her voice full of indignation.
"But... you've been standing at the door, looking around since we got here. Aren't you waiting for him?" Hisako teased, her amusement growing.
"No… no, I'm not!" Erina blushed even more, her voice dropping to a whisper.
"Erina-sama, can I sit down for a bit?" Hisako asked somewhat awkwardly.
"Huh? What's wrong, Hisako?" Erina asked, suddenly concerned.
"I was on my feet all day yesterday, and my legs are a bit swollen today," Hisako admitted, looking a little embarrassed.
"Oh! Then sit down and rest!" Erina quickly ushered Hisako inside the restaurant, helping her into a chair. She then bustled around, asking, "Do you want some water? Or maybe some fruit?"
Hisako was slightly taken aback by Erina's sudden enthusiasm. However, she noticed Erina's own legs and asked curiously, "Erina-sama, don't your feet hurt? You were standing all day yesterday too."
At this, Erina's face turned bright red, her mind flashing back to the previous night when Sui had massaged her feet. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment every time she recalled it.
Strangely enough, her feet weren't sore at all today, and the thought stirred a warm feeling in her chest.
But that pleasant feeling didn't last long. Her rear was still sore from yesterday. That guy had taken the opportunity to touch her under the pretense of helping to ease her bruises!
As if touching wasn't bad enough, he had also playfully twisted her skin!
Hisako noticed the blush deepening on Erina's face and asked, "Erina-sama are you alright?"
"Oh, n-nothing! I'll just take a hot bath when I get home," Erina quickly replied, brushing off the question.

Meanwhile, Tohru and Kanna had just stepped out of Kuga's restaurant.
"Tohru-sama what is this thing?" Kanna asked, pointing to a stone oven outside Sōma's food stall, where he was baking Pepper Meat Bun.
Tohru paused for a moment, thinking, before her eyes lit up. "Ah, this! This is a torture device."
"A torture device?" Kanna echoed, tilting her head in curiosity.
"Yes. Remember how, in our tribe, someone used to heat a giant bronze pillar and tie people to it for torture? This must work on the same principle," Tohru explained confidently.
"Wow! As expected of Tohru-sama you're so knowledgeable!" Kanna exclaimed in awe. After all, the dragon who gnawed on the World Tree was famous in their tribe.
Sōma, watching the two adorable girls squatting in front of his stall, was baffled but still offered them a Pepper Meat Bun. "Here, try one. It's on the house."
Tohru accepted the pastry, took a bite, and her eyes sparkled. "Wow, this is delicious!"
Tohru enjoyed crispy foods like senbei, since the sound reminded her of chewing on bones.
"Glad you like it!" Soma chuckled. "Do you want to buy some more?"
"Give us fifty," Tohru replied without hesitation.
"Wait, what?" Soma stood frozen for a moment, astonished.

Elsewhere in the academy, Akira Hayama was confronting Alice, his expression dark. "Nakiri-san, how do you plan to take responsibility? You've messed up the ingredient orders multiple times, and you keep changing the menu!"
"What? Are you blaming me? Didn't you handle the final ingredients?" Alice snapped back, equally frustrated.
Ryo sighed, his voice heavy with exhaustion. "Honestly, how did we end up working with you?"
Despite their constant bickering, they had managed to open a restaurant together. However, it was quickly descending into chaos, and Ryo was beginning to question how much longer he could handle it.
"Anyway, Once you get the hang of it, we'll keep the temperature at 170. Just make sure you're consistent," Alice said excitedly, seemingly unaware of the chaos around her.
Akira Hayama and Ryo Kurokiba exchanged hopeless glances, wondering if Alice was simply playing around at this point.

Back at Sui's restaurant, he returned to find Miyoko and the others waiting for him. However, something seemed off. All three girls wore strange expressions.
"What's wrong? Wasn't the pre-sale this morning successful?" Sui asked.
The extra thirty seats for reservations had been made available at 9 a.m. sharp.
"It's not that it wasn't successful. It's just that it was 'too' successful," Megumi said with a wry smile.
"Yeah," Miyoko added, "The phone hasn't stopped ringing. All thirty seats were reserved within the first five minutes, but the calls kept coming."
Sui was stunned. He hadn't anticipated that the steamed fish dish he'd prepared yesterday would make such a huge impact among Tokyo's food enthusiasts.
In just one morning, over two hundred people had called, all clamoring to reserve a seat.
