Chapter 18: Bargains in the Darkness
Marina was slightly startled. her face reflecting disbelief. "Zombies? Are you joking?"
She stepped forward and carefully cracked open the door, peering outside. The scene before her was a nightmare—chaos everywhere, the growls of the zombies and the screams of her coworkers filling the air, horrifying and real.
Marina snapped back to reality, her heart racing, suddenly recalling Ander's warning—telling her not to go outside today. She regretted not heeding his advice, filled with regret. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. Suddenly, she remembered that Ander had also asked her to buy some food and water.
"Abigaile, did you manage to get the supplies?" she asked urgently, lowering her voice.
Abigaile nodded, pointing to the corner break room. "Yes, everything's in there."
The two quickly walked into the lounge and saw several bags of food and bottles of water on the table, feeling a lot more at ease. This sense of security calmed them down a bit, but the danger outside was still imminent.
Marina took out her phone and quickly dialed Ander, her fingers trembling slightly. When the call connected, she whispered into the phone, "Ander, the situation outside is bad—there are... zombies! Can you come and help us?"
Ander's voice was calm and firm as he reassured her, "I'll be there soon. Stay in the office, don't go out, and don't open the door, no matter what happens. Understand?"
Marina nodded and held the phone tightly, feeling a little relieved. "We will wait for you, please come quickly." She said softly, looking at Abigaile firmly.
After hanging up, they exchanged a glance, fear in their hearts, but also a glimmer of hope.

The afternoon sunlight was blinding, but the RV remained relatively cool due to the air conditioning. The interior of the RV was both comfortable and luxurious: soft cushions were scattered across the light-colored sofa, kitchen appliances were neatly arranged beside it, and the oven and sink gleamed with a metallic shine. The refrigerator stood silently in the corner, containing only a few bottles of mineral water, which made Julia feel anxious. Both the bedroom and living room were equipped with televisions, but they did little to ease her restless mood. Despite the apparent safety, she couldn't shake the unease in her heart.
Suddenly, a scream and curses from outside shattered the silence within the RV. Julia quickly jumped off the sofa, looking outside the window. She saw crew members of the filming team running in all directions, pursued by an endless number of zombies. At first, she thought it was just a prank on set, but when she saw the blood splattering, her mind instantly cleared—this was real.
"Oh my God, this isn't true..." she whispered to herself, her heart pounding as fear surged through her. She quickly drew the curtains of the window and even used the sun visor to block the windshield, isolating herself from the outside world. She knew that any misstep could allow the zombies to break in.
Suddenly, a frantic knocking on the door made her heart sink. "Julia! Let me in!" A stranger's voice called from outside, filled with panic and desperate cries.
"No, I can't!" Julia's panic grew, shaking her head firmly. She didn't know who it was, but she knew she couldn't take that risk. "If I open the door, I'll be letting the zombies in too!" She clutched the armrest of the chair, her face pale.
The voice outside became increasingly frantic, but it couldn't sway her determination. She gritted her teeth, silently relieved she had rented this RV. Although the food and water inside were scarce, at least she was safe for now. She couldn't help but recall Alexa's advice to stock up on more food and water. She wished she had listened to that advice, as it would have spared her the panic caused by the shortage of resources.
Julia's anxiety grew. In addition to the lack of food and water, the fuel in the RV was running low. She glanced down at the dashboard, and her heart sank. "If I don't do something soon, when the fuel runs out, I won't even have a chance to escape!"
She hurriedly dialed 911, but each time she was met with an unforgiving busy signal, as if mocking her inability to seek help. Feeling hopeless, Julia decided to try contacting Alexa, silently praying that she could help.
She picked up the phone, her fingers trembling as she found Alexa's contact number, pressed the dial button, and waited for the connection. The ringing of the phone echoed in the empty RV, making her feel even more uneasy.
Meanwhile, in the villa, Ander had just finished a call with Marina. Alexa turned to him and asked, "Who was that on the phone?"
"My former boss, Tamara Marina. She's trapped in the office."
Alexa smiled slightly upon hearing this; everything seemed to be unfolding just like in her past life, and ultimately, she and Abigaile Johnson would both become Ander's women.
However, unlike in her past life, Ander's superpowers were only at level one back then, and he had not yet gone to rescue Alexa and the others, he also doesn't have the superpowers that Alexa and others have now.
"She called you for help?"
"Yes, I have to go rescue her. It's a promise I made to her."
"We'll go with you and practice our powers," Marina Laswick said, with others nodding in agreement. They were always willing to face difficulties together, and now that Ander was going to rescue someone, they, of course, had to accompany him.
"We're all members of the Hope Team now, so we'll go too," Celine added, and Alexa and Anllela also nodded in agreement.
At that moment, Alexa's phone rang. She saw that it was Julia calling, so she told the others, "Wait for me, I need to take this call," and walked into a room.
Tamara Marina was only trapped in the office with no immediate danger to her life, so there was no rush.
On the other side, Julia was praying in her heart, and finally, the phone connected. Alexa's voice came through, hurried and slightly surprised, "Julia? What's going on?"
"Alexa, I'm trapped in the RV, surrounded by zombies!" Julia's voice trembled with panic. "I have very little food and water, and the fuel is almost gone. What should I do?"
"Julia, listen, I'll find a way to help you, but we need to talk about some conditions," Alexa said.
With 911 not responding, no food, no water, and the fuel running low, Julia felt she had no choice.
"I'll agree to any conditions," Julia said in despondently.
"Let's talk about my conditions first," Alexa replied. Deciding to follow the same approach as her past life, she felt that she had no reason not to do this. "I'm actually bisexual, and my condition is that you have to have sex with me and my men."
Julia was stunned. Alexa was an Oscar-winning actress, and she is actually willing to have group sex.
Since entering the entertainment industry, Julia had known that one day she would fall into the hands of men, so she had long been mentally prepared. "Okay, since you're willing, I don't mind."
"Okay, just wait patiently. I'll come to get you before evening at the latest."
Alexa was overjoyed because Julia was beautiful. In her past life, Alexa had been attracted to Julia, and now, Julia hadn't escaped her grasp. She was ecstatic.
This time, the Hope Team was going out together, so Alexa didn't drive her Ferrari but had Anllela drive a nine-seat business van. On the way, Alexa carefully chose her words, hoping not to cause any discomfort for Marina and the others.
"Ander, if someone needs help, you'll help them, right?"
"Why do you ask? Of course, I'll help them."
"If many people need help, you'll still lend a hand?"
"Of course, I have unlimited supplies. I'll help those in need. What's wrong with that?"
Alexa sighed in her heart: "Ander is indeed as kind and brave as in his previous life! But in his previous life, he saved too many people, so he needed more superpowered people to manage them, otherwise these people would riot. That's why he ended up with over 20 superpowered mistresses."
"Have you thought about it? If you save so many people, you'll need more superpowered people to help, right?"
"Alexa, what exactly are you trying to say?"
Alexa paused, then decided to speak plainly: "In your past life, you saved so many people, and only trusted your women. So, to manage these people, you ended up with over 20 mistresses. Marina and the others even argued with you about this."
"Twenty!" Marina and the others gasped.
Marina and the others will agree to Alexa and the other three joining, and even agree to Priyanka, Aria, Maja and others, because they need someone to help share the firepower on the bed, but this does not mean that they are not jealous, and the more people there are, the more they will The more love is divided.
