Chapter 222

@lovebambilove
Bambi: Noona, I’m shooting a drama.
Me: Yeah, I know. You’re shooting with Lee Jung-hyun, right?
Bambi: Not that one, another drama.
Me: ?
Bambi: By the way, I wrote the script for this one.
Me: ?? When is it coming out?
Bambi: It’s already out.
Me: ???
Here’s a promotion for the ungrateful Bambi who wrote a script and filmed without telling his fans.
Drama “February 3rd” — please check it out.
You can watch the whole thing in 40 minutes, go go! 👍

@dizigoship02
Watching the drama “February 3rd” made me realize again the immense power of storytelling. I never expected the official promotional video to be so moving…. I want to applaud Lee Yeon-jae for staying true to the original purpose of spreading awareness of sign language while successfully keeping the story engaging. I thought he was just a good actor, but now I see him differently.
[Title: Lee Yeon-jae’s Drama Is Available for Free Online.]
Just search for it and watch it when you have time ^^
I had nothing to watch after finishing my house chores, so I put it on, and by the end of the drama, I found myself in tears without realizing it…. 😭
Even though it’s an official promotional video, it didn’t feel forced and was really enjoyable.
I was also surprised to learn that the actor wrote the script himself.
He’s young, yet he acts well and seems capable of doing everything.
I hope my son grows up as well as he has ^^
― This young man seems like a wonderful actor. From appearing in a sign language awareness video for free to writing the script…. He has a deep character for someone his age. I will continue to support him in the future!
― I agree with the last statement, haha. Whenever I see him on TV, he’s polite and articulate, and it’s a joy to watch. I hope he becomes even more successful ^^!!

[Title: Cool Time Has Arrived]
Here comes my actor bragging post
‘Serious mode’ ON
Achievements of my actor so far
1. Played a dual role in his screen debut → Made it to the Cannes Film Festival with his debut film
2. Became the youngest in the world to win Best Actor → Nominated at numerous film festivals
3. Made a splash as a supporting actor in a web drama → The viewership was so high that season 2 moved to a major network
4. Has only been active for 3 years but has made 5 public donations → Reportedly, he also makes private donations regularly
5. Planned a bed advertisement and now wrote a drama script → A genius in fields other than acting
6. The best part? → Everyone knows who he is without a single mention of his name in this post
Is this what it’s like to be a fan of a genius actor? Haha
It’s not just fun; it’s exhilarating
He’s already proven himself, so go ahead and try him out
I recommend this value-for-money fandom of a domestic actor who’s world-class
― This guy is like a web novel character. This is exactly the summary of a modern fantasy male lead’s life.
└‘Reincarnated as a Genius Actor’
└ Haha, “Acting was the easiest part”
― The most fascinating thing to me is that Lee Yeon-jae doesn’t have social media. If he made an Instagram account, I bet he’d have a ton of followers, but I don’t get why he doesn’t.
└ If it were me, I’d make one right away and sell it for extra income. That’d be sweet.

@nugubodalove
Doing well in your main job is the best. Singers should sing well, and actors should act well. Nothing makes fans prouder than excelling in what you do. I think all celebrities should know this.
Therefore, I request that Lee Yeon-jae be included in all future video productions.
└ I was reading seriously until the last sentence and got startled. Are you crazy??
└ Typical Lee Yeon-jae fan: subtly crazy.

Three years as a Lee Yeon-jae fan
I have an unresolved question
When does he ever take a break?
—
After the filming was over, Manager Woo asked if I could come to the office, so I rushed over.
I wondered if something had happened, but this is what he said:
“You should take a break for a while.”
“What?”
Suddenly?
“You can go on a trip with your friends or something. You’ve been overworking these past few days, so take a good rest.”
I was in a daze at his abrupt words and asked again.
“I have a schedule starting next week.”
“February 3rd,” the drama I filmed with Jung-hyun hyung and actor Kim Seok-joon, was about to be released.
From the production announcement to interviews and events, my schedule was so packed I had to move by the minute.
At my words, Manager Woo looked troubled.
“That’s all canceled.”
“……What?”
“The drama’s release date has been pushed back. All related events will be rescheduled once the release date is set.”
What was he talking about?
Frowning, Manager Woo sighed deeply.
“It seems there’s been a change in the platform’s management. Due to stock-related issues, not just ‘February 3rd,’ but other works have also been put on hold.”
“Is that allowed?”
“Of course not. That’s why the production companies are in an uproar, talking about suing for breach of contract. Sigh… what a mess at the beginning of the year.”
His hands pressing against his eyes looked incredibly tired.
“Even if it’s delayed, it will only be by a month or two, so don’t worry. They’ll probably sort everything out within a month.”
I nodded, understanding that it was a common occurrence in this industry.
“Okay. I got it.”
I didn’t know the exact details, but if they told me to rest, I’d rest.
‘This works out well.’
It hadn’t been long since I finished filming the Korean sign language drama.
Even though I loved acting, I had accumulated fatigue.
Taking a break at this opportunity wouldn’t be bad.
“So, I really get to rest?”
### Chapter 222
The Genius Actor Who Brings Misfortune (222)
—
“Yes. You might get busy in a month, so rest well while you can. I’ll call you if anything comes up.”
Manager Woo stood up, saying he had to go into a meeting.
He looked like a zombie, barely able to move.
‘I should get him some vitamins.’
Tsk. There are too many people to take care of.
Maybe I should really consider being a babysitter too.
“Actor, should we head straight home?”
“Yes.”
I got into the elevator with Jin-bae hyung.
“It’s been a while since you had a break. Take this opportunity to rest well.”
“I will.”
“Don’t worry about the drama. Like Manager Woo said, it’ll be released soon.”
Jin-bae hyung gently patted my shoulder, his tone full of concern, as if he was worried I might be anxious.
“I’m fine. I’m just worried the fans might be disappointed.”
“Oh, that’s true. I saw a post yesterday asking if they could finally see ‘White-Haired Bambi’.”
“…….”
Jin-bae hyung said it casually, but the mention of ‘White-Haired Bambi’ made me feel embarrassed.
Feeling my ears heat up, I quickly changed the subject.
“I’m glad I shot the drama ‘February 3rd.’ Even if it wasn’t intentional, at least I have something to show, so the fans might be less disappointed.”
“Exactly. ‘Killing Horn’ will be resolved with time, so for now, take a good rest. Do you have any special plans?”
Jin-bae hyung’s face didn’t show much expectation as he asked.
He seemed to think I would just say ‘acting practice’ or something similar.
“Yes, I do.”
As soon as I said that, Jin-bae hyung turned his head sharply.
“…What plans? You, actor?”
His eyes grew wide, looking like they might pop out.
Seeing this naive expression that he only showed when we were alone made me laugh.
“What is it? Are you going to take acting lessons?”
Does he think acting is all I think about?
Shaking my head with a laugh, I answered.
“No. I need to do some fan activities.”
“…?”
—
In front of the express bus terminal.
Wearing my cap low, I stood at the entrance.
‘…Why are people staring?’
I was even wearing a mask, so they shouldn’t recognize me, but I could feel people’s gazes.
I thought about asking Jin-bae hyung to come instead, but just as I was starting to overthink, a red bus pulled into the terminal.
Seeing a familiar figure getting off the bus, I approached quickly.
“Ha-eun.”
“Yeon…! Oh, I shouldn’t call your name out loud.”
Park Ha-eun, who was about to shout my name, quickly covered her mouth.
Smiling, I looked down at her wide-eyed expression.
“It’s been a while. How have you been?”
“Good! Nothing much with me. Wow, you’ve really grown! What? You weren’t this tall last year, were you?”
“Thanks. But I still have a long way to go to catch up with Bi-hyuk.”
“Ugh, did Noh Bi-hyuk grow taller? That’s gross.”
Park Ha-eun shuddered.
I laughed at her genuinely disgusted expression.
“Bi-hyuk said he hit 180 cm recently.”
“Ew, he really needs to stop growing.”
Since Park Ha-eun moved to a middle school in another area, it had been hard to see her.
We still made time to meet up about twice a year, but whenever Park Ha-eun and Noh Bi-hyuk saw each other, they were always shocked.
Knowing each other since kindergarten, they had a hard time adjusting to each other’s changing appearances.
Laughing at Park Ha-eun’s suggestion to press down on Bi-hyuk’s head to stop his growth, I offered to carry her bag.
“Ha-eun, let me carry your bag.”
“I’m serious, why are you laughing?”
Noh Bi-hyuk aside, Park Ha-eun had also grown a lot.
Her face had become more defined compared to the last time I saw her.
‘Time really flies.’
I suddenly felt the passage of time.
It seemed like just yesterday we were in elementary school, and now we were in our third year of middle school.
In just one more year, we would be high school students.
‘High school.’
Will I go to the same school as Bi-hyuk then?
A few years ago, I couldn’t even think about the future; surviving each day was all I could manage.
‘I’ve changed a lot too.’
Many things would continue to change.
It was fascinating to feel anticipation rather than fear for the unknown.
“How’s studying going? Do you still want to be a doctor?”
“Of course! I’m going to enter medical school early!”
Park Ha-eun exclaimed confidently.
Her ambition to become a doctor seemed unwavering.
“That’s amazing. Don’t you get tired of studying all day?”
“…Yeon-jae, aren’t you the last person to say that?”
Oh, right.
I laughed sheepishly.
“For me, it’s just self-study, but you’re already working. Honestly, I’m a bit envious. I want to become a doctor quickly too.”
“Why do you want to be a doctor so badly?”
“It’s cool. Saving people.”
Park Ha-eun smiled.
“When I was little, my mom would tell me about the surgeries she performed that day. She looked so confident and cool.”
“It’s a really admirable job. I’m sure you’ll do great.”
As soon as I finished speaking, Park Ha-eun burst out laughing.
“You’re still the same.”
“…? What do you mean?”
“Never mind. Oh, if you ever shoot a medical drama, come to me for advice. I’ll give you all the details.”
“Won’t you be too busy by then?”
“No matter how busy I am, if it’s to help this actor, I’ll make time!”
I chuckled at the sight of her shrugging her shoulders as if she were already a doctor.
We chatted away without realizing how much time had passed until we reached our destination.
“I’ll just drop off my stuff and be right back!”
“Take your time, no rush.”
Park Ha-eun dashed into the villa.
It was the villa where Park Ha-eun’s aunt lived and where she would be staying for about a week.
‘I should contact Noh Bi-hyuk and let him know we’ll be there soon.’
The reason Park Ha-eun, who was always busy studying, had taken a week off was because of Noh Bi-hyuk.
His debut was just around the corner.
Park Ha-eun and I had decided to spend the week preparing thoroughly.
We were ready to fully support Noh Bi-hyuk’s debut.
‘I need to familiarize myself with this area.’
You never know what might happen, so I should make sure to walk her home safely every time we part.
Standing at the entrance of the villa, I opened the map app on my phone.
As I was scanning the surroundings with the app, someone approached me.
“Excuse me.”
“…?”
I looked up to see a woman with an unfamiliar face.
“Um, I’m really sorry to ask you this out of the blue…”
Her face was flushed.
A religious solicitation? A shakedown?
All these thoughts disappeared instantly when I heard her next words.
“Do you have a girlfriend?”
…What?
