The flames of the Vermillion True Flame burnt furiously. How dare a lower race lay a finger on them?!

The Sun Cutting Wheel left Lu Zheng's control as the instincts of the Vermillion Bird Race took over for a short while. The Sun Cutting Wheel spun like a wheel of death towards Kyosuke, completely ignoring Makato.

"This…" Kyosuke did not understand what was going on. The Sun Cutting Wheel crashed into him but at the last minute, he managed to dodge it.

Lu Zheng shook his head as he gazed at the dust that had risen from the Sun Cutting Wheel crashing to the ground: "Truly a proud race"

Makato sneered as he displayed exemplary movement techniques that stunned Yu Er Dan and Lu Zheng. Golden lightning criss-crossed his body and his body became like a blurry form.

In a single motion, he punched Yu Er Dan away. He moved swiftly and appeared before Lu Zheng at a speed that even Lu Zheng paled before.

Yet, Lu Zheng was not flustered. Crimson Vermillion Branding Chains slithered from his body like serpents that bound Makato's legs. Lu Zheng spatial skipped and widened the distance between them.

"Hmph!" Makato had a burst of energy and the Vermillion Branding Chains broke apart. Just when he was about to move, the familiar sound of air zipping and cutting entered his hearing.

"The Sun Cutting Wheel!" Makato used his Togan and he saw a Sun Cutting Wheel cut towards him from his back. "When did…?"

He did not dare to receive it directly and bent his body in an abnormal way at the very last moment. Even so, his left hand was left mid-air when he dodged and was instantly cut off by the Sun Cutting Wheel.

The hand did not even reach the ground when it burnt into nothingness. The injury to Makato's arm did not bleed. The heat of the Vermillion True Flame was too great that his blood vessels were sealed off.

Kyosuke did not participate actively in the skirmishes and only controlled the overall flow of the fight. Whenever any Changshou Tong Race clansman was facing difficulties, he would provide support for them.

It was solely because of Kyosuke that the Changshou Tong Race suffered zero casualties so far. Instead, they were pushing their opponents back.

A frown appeared on Alaka'i's face as he stared at Kyosuke's direction. His mood was very foul.

Despite the fact that he was stronger than his opponent, he was unable to end the latter's life.

Whenever he was close to killing the man, Kyosuke would intervene immediately and save his life. This trend had repeated itself many times already and Alaka'i was on the brink of dying from frustration.

Kyosuke smiled coldly before retracting his gaze to somewhere else. The nine people here were the Changshou Tong Race's strongest and he couldn't afford for any of them to die.

Kyosuke's voice was distant as he watched a man fight: "Makato…"
