Lu Zheng and the others were stunned by what had just occurred before their very eyes.

The two peerless experts; Byron and Gordon had just appeared and in a few words, all of the Changshou Tong Race was expelled from the aperture fragment while Alaka'i was whisked away. None of them even had a say in any of these matters.

Now they were at an impasse. The enemies they had sworn to fight to the death were no longer present. What then was their goal?

Gu Ao's eyes blazed with mischief as he gazed to and fro. From the allied forces of Gu Clan and Xiong Clan, only Gu Ao, Xiong Ba and a Gu clansman were left. Compared to Eight Extremities Palace's force, they were quite pitiful.

His gaze turned ashen when he saw Lu Zheng hovering in the sky. At the moment, he did not look like any mere man. His body was wrapped with strong red auras that burnt like flames in the wind. A red imprint was etched in his forehead and Essence seemed to pour into his body from the ambient Qi.

He seemed very strong, too strong even.

Yet, Lu Zheng could not be bothered with Gu Ao's thoughts of self-inferiority. His head was tilted up as he stared into the sky, an expression of worry and uncertainty forming gradually on his handsome face.

"What is the matter?" An Yin soon noticed the man's silence and traced his gaze. Soon, he was stunned to the core. "Hmm!?"

"This… what is this!?"

When the others gazed at the sky, their spirits were stimulated and a feeling of fear and excitement washed over their bodies.

The sky was red like clay and was once parted into two by a large river. Now however, the river had swept through the sky as it rolled with great waves that could sink any ship no matter how grand it was. The waves fell from the sky and touched the ground, causing many disasters to occur.

When the martial practitioners that were still alive looked up, it was as if their gazes pierced into the great river to a certain point. In that place, there was a small stone island and from that stone island, the grand aura of time path flourished unmistakably.

"The time path true inheritance!" The martial practitioners nearly chorused in tune. They knew without a doubt that that stone island was their final destination in this realm.

The smaller lifeforms of Reverend Divine Prime Jade's aperture fragment did not share these sentiments. They were frightened beyond measure. They burrowed into holes that went deep into the ground or hid beneath the already broken walls of the fallen labyrinth.

Even so, it was not enough to save them.

An arm the length of a grown adult suddenly extended from one of the waves as it picked a small rodent like beast. The arm was skinny and covered with red and gold fur that shined with a faint metallic lustre. With a small force, it popped the rodent into blood paste and pushed what was left into its mouth.

The waves crashed wildly without pattern and after some time, they were able to see the beast that had killed the rodent.

It stood like a man but was at least three times taller than even the tallest of men. Its entire body was covered in wet red and gold fur and faint drops of blood still stained its mouth. When it saw the martial practitioners, its eyes turned cold in bestial anger as it roared loudly.

The hearts of the martial practitioners shook with fear because the beast before them was a day beast ape and it radiated a strong rank eight aura!
