Lu Zheng stood calmly as he gazed at Yu Er Dan. Like Makato, she was at the first tier of Original realm. He could not underestimate her.

Yu Er Dan also shared a similar line of thought: "Lu Zheng could fight Makato on equal grounds, he is definitely not weak"

Lu Zheng channelled his bloodline ability as streams of fire rose from his body. The streams of fire coiled into a blazing ball above his head. Slowly, the blazing ball grew larger till it became the size of a large wheel.

"Sun of the Vermillion True Flame" Lu Zheng's voice was calm as the blazing ball burnt brightly.

Lu Zheng felt his strength rise qualitatively as the flames that burnt on his body became much fiercer. When Yu Er Dan gazed at him, it was as if she was peering at a burning furnace.

The sheer heat he gave off made it difficult for Yu Er Dan to focus on him.

"Also, my strength seems to have dwindled by a bit" Yu Er Dan muttered under her breath. "Hmph!"

She tightened her gut as she took a fighting stance. Strength Essence flowed through each of her meridians, strengthening her physique.

Lu Zheng did not charge recklessly. Fist to fist fights were where strength path experts truly shined. He was planning on making this fight as long ranged as possible.

Wind pulsed from his body in all directions as thunder flowed within it. Lu Zheng was channelling the Eight Layered Thunder Flow again.

Yu Er Dan charged at the man as strength Essence filled her to the brim. Without a doubt, she encountered the first layer of the Eight Layered Thunder Flow.

"Gah!" Yu Er Dan felt blood fill her mouth but she swallowed it. Her eyes glistened as she understood Lu Zheng's plan. "Don't underestimate me!"

Yu Er Dan was a strength path Original realm expert. Relying on her horrific physical strength and sheer willpower, she continued her charge towards Lu Zheng.

"Hmm?" Lu Zheng was surprised. This was the first time he had ever seen someone withstand his Eight Layered Thunder Flow.

Bloodline power was expended as fire streams flowed from the Sun of the Vermillion True Flame. Six Sun Cutting Wheels burned into existence.

The six Sun Cutting Wheels rotated very swiftly and gave off great amounts of heat. They soon surrounded Yu Er Dan.

Yu Er Dan's mind shook as she focused her gaze on the six Sun Cutting Wheels. She understood Lu Zheng's plan and was surprised by his ability to coordinate his techniques.

She was withstanding the Eight Layered Thunder Flow and her movement was greatly restrained. She could only continue to charge forwards and the slightest turn would sweep her off her feet.

Even still, she was not helpless. She had the battle experience of many centuries and quickly hatched a plan.

Her body stilled as she punched the ground. Shockwaves spread from the ground as strength Essence rose from the spot and spread out from her.

The strength Essence clashed with the six Sun Cutting Wheels and they shook greatly before being crushed into small wisps of fire.

The shockwaves continued and opposed the Eight Layered Thunder Flow. Lu Zheng was swept off his feet.

"Huff, huff. I told you already, [pants], do not underestimate me!" Yu Er Dan's breathing was haggard as she shouted her words. It was obvious that this method of hers consumed great amounts of Essence.

Lu Zheng landed on his feet and swept his hands. Wind blades of different sizes formed before cutting towards Yu Er Dan. At the same time, icicles flourished before hiding in the spatial gaps.

Yu Er Dan's gaze steeled. This was the part of Lu Zheng that feared her the most. He cultivated too many paths and had an array of methods.

Even still, a thought crept into her mind: "He is only at the third tier of Acquisition realm. No matter how many paths he cultivates, he would eventually run out of Essence. That is when I shall strike"

Yu Er Dan's thoughts were simple and if she was facing any other Acquisition realm expert, her thinking would be correct. Sadly, she was facing none other than Lu Zheng who had the fragmented Qi fruit.

She was bound to lose in a battle of attrition.
