Divine Prime Jade was stunned for a short while before smiling: "Interesting. Who knows? Perhaps you will be the one to kill this beast or maybe it shall simply consume you like the rest of us. Anyway it goes, it seems the future will be fun" Divine Prime Jade smiled. "Spread out your hands"

Lu Zheng nodded and held his hands out. Divine Prime Jade held his hands as the dark patterns on his body flowed into Lu Zheng's hands.

The dark patterns slithered like snakes and flowed up Lu Zheng's hands to his neck and then his head. They gathered into a large mass before sinking into his Soul Lake and flowing into Lu Zheng's host soul.

Lu Zheng closed his eyes as he felt an immense amount of information take root in his mind as time path dao imprints were engraved on his body.

When he opened his eyes, the pedestal was empty and he was all alone in the shrine.

Clenching his fists, Lu Zheng calmed his thoughts and sat with his legs crossed. He was going to digest the immense information that Divine Prime Jade had left for him.

Yu Er Dan stood in the empty hall as she waited for Lu Zheng to return. All of a sudden, she felt a strong impression form in her mind.

It was like she was being drawn to a certain place in the temple.

Yu Er Dan's thoughts shifted as she quickly understood. Lu Zheng had left a portion of his soul in her Soul Lake when he controlled her and now, that portion was being attracted to the host soul.

Yu Er Dan walked out of the hall and moved towards the central building where Lu Zheng was. She hesitated for a moment before walking into the shrine.

When she walked into the shrine, she was stunned by how dense the Essence inside the shrine. It made sense that Lu Zheng was already cultivating when she entered the shrine.

As she walked towards him, she was surprised that Lu Zheng did not even notice her. They had spent time together with the rest of Eight Extremities Palace's martial warriors and she knew Lu Zheng's scouting abilities were top tier.

Yet, it seemed like he was oblivious of everything around him. Perhaps he had even forgotten that she was inside the temple too.

"This bastard is actually good looking" Yu Er Dan cussed under her breath.

Lu Zheng sat at the centre of the shrine with his legs crossed and eyes closed. His eyebrows would tighten at times as he comprehended the time path true inheritance. He was completely oblivious to his surroundings.

As Yu Er Dan gazed at him, she could sense a form of tranquillity and calm emanate from him.

Compared to all the time they had spent in the aperture fragment, this small time of peace was very precious.
