The lord of life and death

Rain suddenly feels the current of the water slowing and he can control himself. After diving in the River he and his mother were one of the first to dive in the river. They were together they followed the river's current to escape the cavern.

But the situation changed as they came out of the cavern, the current of the river picked up speed, and no way to escape as they were inside an underwater river channel. As time passed, he was separated from his mother, as the speed of the river's current increased.

Rain slowly swims up to raise his head above the water. After a few moments, he raises his head out of the water and at first he starts taking deep breaths. He did not know how much time he was underwater unable to breadth. He uses his outer vitality energy to sustain himself, so he can remain conscious under the water.

Before he can check his surroundings, he receives a message from the soul chip- 14 minutes 47 seconds. "what is this?" After receiving the message this was his thought, then he remembered he thought how much time he spent underwater. 

"So, I was 14 minutes 47 seconds without breathing."

"I thought I spent hours underwater."

Rain looks around to see if is there any way to reach the surface. He is still in the underwater river channel. Rain starts swimming in the opposite direction from where he came. As he only swims 1 meter from his position, he hears the sound of someone coughing and taking deep breaths behind him.

He turns around to see, in darkness, his eyes are able to see only a few meters in the darkness. So, he can only see an outline of someone's head out of the water. Rain starts to swim toward someone who comes out of the water. He is unable to tell if it's He or a She and of his team or the cultists.

Someone may have noticed Rain swimming toward them. As Rain hears, "Who?" Rain stops when he hears the voice because this is not the first time he heard the voice, he can tell it is a female and tries then figure out whose voice is it.

He hears her shouting at him, " Who is there? Reveal yourself?" hearing this Rain tentatively, "Princess Narisa." 

Rain hears the reply which confirms his suspicion," Yes, Who are you?" Rain hearing the confirmation, slowly swims toward her. When Rain can see, she also sees Rain. And tentative speak for a speak," Glenn GoldenOak."

" Yes, I remember you are Glenn."

Rain nods and stops swimming as he reaches her, " Princess, How are you?"

"I am fine, Let's swim ahead and get out of here."

Rain replies," I will swim ahead, you can swim behind me."

"I should swim ahead, I am in the third realm and you are in the 2nd realm."

Rain smiled," That's why I should swim ahead behind us cultist can come. And I am an alchemist with my soul strength, I can scout ahead."

Yes, Rain after he dived into the river, his soul sense was always spread to him and he did not close his soul sense. But he was unable to identify the princess with his soul strength because in his soul sense where the princess was a void. His soul strength saying there is nothing there.

After Rain receives the nod from the princess, he starts to swim ahead then he hears the Princess," I will coil my life seed on one of your waists, so we remain connected." And Rain feels the life seed coil around his waist.

Rain thought when Princess spoke and coiled the life seed around his leg. He shouts as he swims," Princess are you a Potionist or an Alchemist." Only those two professions can control a life seed.

Rain hears back, "I am neither." hears these puzzles Rain knows only the two professions can control a life seed. Maybe he is wrong, so there are more than 4 professions that can awaken their soul strength. 1. An alchemist, 2. A Potionist, 3. A Refiner- A Earth Spirit Profession and 4. A Chanter- A Sea Spirit Profession.

Rain thought of something and shouted," Then, Princess, you can swim ahead, with your soul strength your range will be more than me."

" No, I did not awaken my soul strength." Hearing this made Rain stop swimming suddenly and the Princess's head collided with his back. 

" Why did you stop?" Rain urgently turned back to face the princess, which made his face only inches apart from the Princess.

Saying "Sorry." Rain distance himself and speaks," Then, How are you able to control the life seed." 

" You swim ahead, I will tell you. We do not know if anyone is coming behind us." Rain," Ohh." he turns back and swims ahead.

"My Inheritance name is Demon Seal. Practice method without the help of God is called Inheritance. And they are created by DemiGod Realm Powerhouse."

"You must have heard about DemiGod Realm is the 6th realm in the profession system."

Rain shouts," Yes."

Princess continued," For the strong, they are not considered the real DemiGod Powerhouse, because their basic power is from the God."

"True DemiGod Powerhouse are those whose power only belongs to themselves. And for them to lift their throne in the Stars, they have to create a seven-rank practice system."

" And I major in Demon Seal and minor in Wood Controler Inheritance. The Wood Controller Inheritance allows me to control the life seed."

Rain asks back," You can practice multiple Inheritance."

Princess," Yes, If your goal is to become a God one day then learning more knowledge is important."

Rain in his soul sense suddenly notices something, and speaks, "Follow me." And dive inside the Water and swim for a few minutes reaching a large rock covered by sea vine. Rain then swims directly at the rock.

He did not crash head-first into the rock, by parting the vines, Rain swam inside a tunnel inside the rock going below. He kept on swimming till he reached the floor and looked up to see two passages. From which he came out and now the Princess is coming out.

Rain swims up the other one, As he swims up he sees light coming from above. He did not think, he was going to reach outside the underwater river because it was impossible because the rock or a hill was fully submerged inside the water.

So, he comes out of the water and looks up to see a rocky ceiling covered by crystal stones. And in the next moment, the Princess emerged outside the water.

" Where are we?" and she looks around," Beautifull."

Rain nods and swims ahead to get out of the water to stand on solid ground, as they are in an underwater cave. After the Princess climbs out of the water, Rain feels the life seed coil around his waist, uncoiling. 

Princess speaks," Now, I will take the lead, you follow me behind."

Rain nods and starts walking behind her from this cave they reach another cavern which is more beautiful than the previous one and in the middle of the cave, a large crystal stalactite hangs from the ceiling till a meter apart from the cavern floor.

From the stalactite, Rain noticed a silver color liquid drop into a large silver color pool, " What is this?" He quickly walked and knelt beside the silver color pool.

The Princess leisurely walked behind him," Let a part of life seed dip in the pool." Rain looks at her confused look.

The Princess knelt beside her," Trust me, nothing will happen." As she dips a part of her life seed in the pool. Rain seeing this decides to trust and follows her lead. And when Rain's life seed sips inside the pool.

Rain notices that the life which is on his thigh starts growing upward, as it grows, Rain's skin's cells merge with the life seed's cells. " What is this?"

Princess replies," Mother Earth Liquid, speeds up the growth of plants."

Rain understands life seed is an artificial item created but it is still considered a plant. The life seed reaches the last moment of the merge, as it starts to merge with the skin cells on his face, which is noticed by the princess.

Princess exclaim in surprise," You started the second step before you completed the first step."

Rain frowns upon hearing this, as the information of life seeds, he finds that the first two steps are not strict. One can enter the second step without completing the first step, But he is not able to merge cells further only the skin cells." Did I do something wrong?" facing the Princess.

Princess shakes her hands, "No, Its not wrong to start merging with the skin cells before the life seed fully grown."

She continues," I am surprised as a full 10 hours did not pass when you obtained the life seed from me and you learned to merge with your skin cells." She pulls back the part of the life seed from the liquid.

Rain feels the life seed completely merge with his skin cells, but Rain does not pull the part out as he feels the life seed starts to grow around his wrist like a brace. After the skin cells are the muscle cells, which are more in number like 1000 times of skin cells. 

Rain before he starts merging the muscle cells, wants to store some energy. He replies," It's luck, I was trying to merge with skin cells and then suddenly life seed cells merge with my skin cells." He pulls back the life seed part from the water. 

Now he has two wrist guards, two leg guards, and inner armor. He stops at these because absorbing more energy will affect his body.

Rain then slowly stands up finding the Princess staring at him as if to find his secret."What?" Rain looks to his left one meter above the ground a hole for someone to crawl into, Rain's soul strength already covers the inside of the holes that go up. But it only covers a part of the hole as it begins to go up.

Princess," Nothing, But I heard you will go to the city of freedom."

Rain is confused because of the question as he walks toward the hole. " Yeah, Why?"

Princess starts walking behind him and he can hear her footsteps walking behind him," Do you want to come with me to the capital?"

Rain," No, I am an alchemist and a half-tree spirit." he did not continue as the Princess could not understand what he wanted to explain.

Princess," If you are with me nothing will happen." 

"Does the hole lead anywhere?"

Rain, "I do not know, my soul strength only covers a part as it is going upward, from the length the tunnel lead higher than the ceiling of this cavern." and then replies for the first, "But it will slow down my growth speed." and put his hand in the tunnel to crawl inside.

Princess grips his hand which makes him look at her and before he can ask the reason. She pushes him aside, " I will go first." and she lifts herself inside the tunnel.

Rain sooth the place where she grips, as Rain felt a steel hand grip his hand. Looking at the princess's petite figure, he forgot she is a third realm, which makes her more than 1000 times stronger than him. And after the Princess crawled further ahead Rain followed her.

When Rain reaches the place to go upwards at the tunnel, he sees a hole inside the tunnel that can be held to climb upwards. Rain follows behind her in silence which leads his mind to think of a topic and only the Princess has an answer for this. 

"Princess, can I ask you something?"

Rain hears back," What? And you can call me Narisa when we are alone."

Rain," You said you practiced two inheritance."

"Yes, What of it?"

Rain," Wood Controller is a wood element inheritance. Does the Goddess allow someone to touch her domain?"
