Inside a room, on the walls, the ceiling is sticking with rune paper with runes drawn, and at the center of the floor, is a wooden structure encasing a square stone. Rain inside the room is crawling on the floor, trying to stand up. But each time he tries to stand up, he falls, his face plastered to the floor.

He cannot stand because he transforms this room into a gravity room. He used the Heavy rune to form a formation. He did not even have to comprehend the heavy rune to form this formation fully. Rain's body is carrying a weight of 300 kg. 

Rain stops trying to stand up. He wants to sit in a comfortable position and meditate so that his body can accumulate this weight. As he is trying, Rain suddenly falls flat on the floor. This is because he is not able to handle the weight, but he receives information about Rain in the Alchemist world.

After reading the information, a smile broke on Rain's face. He was depressed because the Rain in Alchemist world enjoying himself. But in this world, after arriving, he found that his fiance's fellow disciples wanted to kill him. She was not his fiance but Yun Ting's but now he occupied Yun Ting's body.

That makes him Yun Ting in this world. And 15 days ago he received another arranged marriage, at the time his face showed reculant but in his mind he was pleased. This is unacceptable to them, as the younger generation are future of any force. So, they decided to host a competition for people under 20 years. The first 30 will enter the secret realm.

Rain is not worried because with his strength he will certainly be in the first 30. When he was in the first realm of grandmaster, he killed a peak third realm energy refining cultivator. But four days ago, he advanced to the second realm of grandmaster. If he gives his heart and soul and practices without stopping for the next four days, he may be able to advance third realm of grandmaster.

 They are in the Black Fire mountain range, which divides the western and central parts of the divine continent from the southern part. Black Fire mountain range is filled with volcanos spewing black lava all the time. The Black lave can even injure a fifth realm professional. It is also filled with fire-type monsters. The most dangerous is the Black Flame Minotaur, a Black Flame minotaur can even advance to the 5th realm.

" If he can advance to the third realm, then their chance to escape safely increases." Rain remains seated at the same position and watches with interest how the intruder or intruders break the door and enter the room, to feel 300 kg weight on their body. Rain watches his door shock more violently, and then a claw creates a hole in the door. 

Seeing the claw, Rain knows who has invaded his house and the face appears watching Rain. This confirms what is breaking his door, but now he wants to know if there are one or multiple people invaded his home.

Rain stands and walks toward them, they are unable to move any part of their body except their eyes which stare at Rain. Rain standing above the two corpses, raised his leg and stomped on their heads one by one crushing them.

Rain looked at the headless corpses and wrinkled his nose as the smell of corpses emerged from their bodies. He start thinking, " Why they invaded my house?" I know a corpse disaster emerged in the Northwest but Wutan City is in the south-southwest. The furthest place from the source of the disaster.

And why they invaded my house. Is the city also under attack? Rain quickly exited his room and from a window in the hallway, he stared at the city below the mountain. But the city is silent like the dead of night, only some sporadic light source.

Seeing this makes Rain more confused, to reach his house they travel through the city and Beggining Black corpses can think but they cannot stop the attraction of thousands of delicious food in the city and arrive at his home and attack him. Or they may have come from behind the mountain from the white river.

When Rain reaches the pond and looks toward the sealed mine, he finds it obscured by a black gas from which light flashes can be seen and the sound of locks snapping. Rain raises their palm toward the black gas and activates a rune in his mind. From Rain's palm like a flame thrower, fire surges toward the black gas. 

" I am glad I decided to increase my attack method." Rain's attack method was only palm and sword technique adequate in close combat but he knows his opponents in this world will not only be other warriors but the immortal cultivators, demons, spirit races, and beings from the black ocean.

They all can attack from a distance, so Rain to cover his weakness. He decided offense was the best defense, and fire was one of the deadly attack methods. So, Rain decided to comprehend fire runes. Starting with the first rank, Fire rune he comprehends the second rank Fire rune.

Rain's fire starts pushing back the black gas but a sound of roar comes inside the black gas and then the black gas starts to fight against his fire. Rain then hears a loud noise coming from behind him and he bends his side to see a large fire in the center of the city. 

"So, I am alone no one would be able to come and I have to fight alone." Protecting the mine's seal is the duty of the city. His house is here, so his only job is to alert them of people coming to break the seal and hold them for the city to send someone.

After the explosion passes, Rain finds his house's left side, water in the pond disappears, and opposite him stands a black corpse with armor made of black bone covering its body. "Middle-level Black corpse." Seeing his enemy, Rain asks the soul chip how much time is left for the sun to rise. 

Before he receives the answer, he and the corpse vanish from the spot they were standing, and the next time they appear his fist is in the face of the corpse and the corpse's fist in his face. The corpse's claw also landed multiple in his body ripping his clothes and muscles underneath. The black gas remains on his wounds, Rain to keep his attention in the fight, orders the soul chip to remove the black gas from his wound. 

He starts to feel coldness sipping inside his body through the wound. The coldness is not from ice energy but death energy causing super effective damage to a living being. Death energy is inherently opposite to life, his fire energy is effective against a corpse but he has another energy that is more effective against a corpse.

Because attacks from a corpse contain death energy, it quickly rots the injured place in a matter of seconds. So anyone facing a corpse will surround wear armor, or not let the corpse land an attack and or protect's one body with their energy.
