Chapter 4: A third-year student intervened
After Muhammad and Aseel parted, each of them went to his section. Muhammad sat in his place, but he was surprised that Khaled, Mustafa, and Abdul Razzaq did not come to bully him, as they always did. Muhammad did not know that the three were planning a cunning plan against him. After school ended, Muhammad left his classroom happy. As he was going down the stairs, Khaled grabbed him from behind and took him to an empty section and closed the door. Abdul Razzaq, Mustafa, and Khaled were waiting for Muhammad. Khaled threw Muhammad to the ground and said: "I brought this bastard." Muhammad replied: "Why do you say that? Why am I here? What have I done to you?" Mustafa replied: "Do you really think we were not watching you talking to Aseel? I told you not to even look at her. How dare you go talk to her?" Muhammad replied: "Come on, who came to talk to me? What do you have to do with this? I talk or I don't talk to her, I decide this." Mustafa replied: "What did you say? You fool! How dare you disobey my words? How could a fool like you talk to her? How could a coward like you be with her? You are just a worthless insect. You don't even deserve to live." Abdul Razzaq and Khaled laughed at Mustafa's words and said: "You are right. A fool like him, if you give him respect, will think himself a great person." Muhammad replied: "Oh, I understand. Come on, she didn't pay any attention to you. Because of your stupidity and weakness, you came to bully me because she talked to me. How pathetic you are! If I were you, I would not wish to die rather than live in such humiliation." Abdul Razzaq: "What humiliation are you talking about? If we talk about humiliation, you will be the most humiliated among us, because everyone bullies you, everyone mocks you, and everyone does not even see you as a human being." Muhammad: "Are they really doing this? If they are doing this, I have nothing to do with them. Let them do whatever they want. At least I am not like you. You do not have even a shred of honor." Mustafa: "You really weren't crying and telling her to help you? You should be grateful to us for keeping her away from trash like you. Ugly, pathetic, and stupid." Muhammad: "Here I discovered that what I said was true. You are weak in character and cowards. When you are ridiculed or belittled, you come to weak people in order to highlight your strength or to diminish some honor that you do not already possess." The three of them got angry at Muhammad's words, and he laughed: "Weak, weak! When you cannot respond to my words, you want to hit me. I have endured a lot of your abuse of me. I really do not know how I can be bullied by cowards like you and weak people who do not even have the courage to talk to a girl." No honor, no audacity, no anything. You are a blight on society. You are like garbage that leads people away from it and pollutes beautiful views." Three beat Muhammad severely. A person outside the classroom hears everything, a student in the third year of secondary school, enters and says: "Damn! Their honor has been completely erased. Whoever said that words cause a heart more than a blow is right." The student asks: "Why are you doing this to him? What did he do to you that made you hit him like that?" Khaled: "We were just playing with him." Student: "Do you think I am a fool? Are you making fun of me?" Mustafa: "Muhammad was talking to a very beautiful girl, and we loved her, and he tried to get close to her. I told him to stay away from her because a boy as cowardly and stupid as he was should not approach her and tarnish her reputation." Student: "Is she your girlfriend?" Mustafa: "No, not my girlfriend." Student: "So what does it have to do with you? You were the one who asked you to keep him away? And who told you that he was a coward?" The student asked Muhammad: "Do you really know them? And do you care about them?" Muhammad replied: "No, she does not like them. She asked him not to interfere in her affairs, but he did not listen to her words and beat anyone who approached her. People even started avoiding her because of them." The student said: "So this is what happened... What is the girl's name?" Muhammad replied: "Her name is Aseel." The student smiled and said: "Are you really sure that her name is Aseel? Yes, and she is in the same academic stage as us." The student got angry and said: "I don't know who this girl is, but her name seems to be similar to my sister's name. If I find out that she is my sister, I will attack you and hit you twice as hard as you hit this boy." The three of them felt very afraid because they knew that Aseel had a brother, but they did not know who he was. The three replied, "Okay, we'll stay away from this girl and won't bother her again. Please let us go." The student replied: "Come on, go and never show me your dirty faces again." The three ran out of extreme fear.
