Work last night went as usual. The boss saw my complexion and reminded me that if I was sick or needed to take time off, he would have to give the job to someone else. He couldn't afford to keep me if I was sick.

Illegal cash-in-hand jobs are like this, but what else can I do?

I had a good rest after work today and enjoyed some of the food that had been left for me. Looking at the food, much as I almost couldn't beat to eat the pretty things, even if I did eat three meals a day, I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish eating them before they went bad.

So I cooked a bunch and froze it. That would keep me going and not waste any of the food.

I called Bezel to see how she was and was told to mind my own business. She told me to send some more money so that she could pay our parents back. When I told her my bank was empty, she hung up on me.
