Chapter 12: Chapter - 12: Happy NEW YEAR!!

As soon as they caught sight of Santa Claus, Andy's mouth fell open in sheer disbelief, his wide eyes sparkling with uncontainable excitement. Leo, momentarily frozen in awe, blinked rapidly, unable to tear his gaze away from the jolly figure standing before him. Amera gasped softly, her delicate hand flying to cover her mouth, her expression a blend of wonder and amazement. Evern, brimming with a mix of courage and curiosity, decided to step closer to the vibrant figure of Santa, his face alight with a bright, inviting smile. "Hello, I'm Evern," he said, his voice barely managing to hold back the thrill that danced within him.

Seeing Evern's eagerness ignite the moment, the others sprang into action, joining him in this miraculous encounter.

"I'm Andy," he managed to utter, still grappling with the overwhelming enchantment of Santa's presence.

"I'm Leo," he added breathlessly, excitement bubbling over into a wide, infectious grin.

"And I'm Amera," she chimed in, her eyes aglow with a sparkling wonder that echoed through the room.

"Good to know all of you," Santa responded with a hearty chuckle that rolled like warm laughter through the air, his voice imbued with a comforting, inviting warmth. "I am Santa Claus, and I have come bearing important news for each of you."

Suddenly, a thrill of urgency crackled in the atmosphere, electrifying every heartbeat. "There's no time to wait or rest!" Santa exclaimed, his eyes twinkling mischievously beneath his snow-white eyebrows.

"Why, Santa?" asked Evern, his brow furrowing in earnest confusion, his heart racing with curiosity.

"Because it is…" Santa paused, letting the moment hang in the air with exciting suspense, "New Year!"

The room fell into a hushed silence, every child frozen in anticipation, the weight of his words heavy and profound. Then, with the energy of a burst of confetti, excitement exploded around them. They began to chatter animatedly, their imaginations igniting with visions of celebration and adventure ahead.

"Wait! One more thing," Santa said, raising a hand to hush the jubilant crowd. "You have to complete this game. Or else…"

"Or else what?" they all shouted in unison, their eyes wide with eager anticipation, each pulse quickening at the thrill of the unknown.

"How do we complete this?" Andy asked, his brow knitted in determination, his mind racing with possibilities.

"Simply go through this door," Santa instructed, his finger pointing towards a magnificent, ornate door that seemed to have materialized out of thin air, glimmering with intricate carvings that sparkled in the room's light. "You will find a delectable dessert awaiting you at the end. And Evern!" he continued, a knowing glint dancing in his eyes, "keep that chip in your pocket. It's essential for understanding your characters in this game."

"Characters?" Amera queried, tilting her head in a mix of intrigue and confusion. "How do we uncover our characters?"

"You'll discover that very soon," Santa replied with a playful wink, as if sharing a delightful secret. "You will find a guide waiting for you at the market."

"Alright, then let's go!" Evern said eagerly, taking a bold step forward, ready to leap into the adventure that awaited them.

"See you soon!" Santa called out in a joyful farewell as he waved goodbye, a magical sparkle filling the air, causing him to disappear in a dazzling swirl of shimmering lights.

With a shared glance brimming with determination and wild excitement, everyone turned toward the magnificent door. As it swung open, a brilliant cascade of white light flooded the room, enveloping them in its warm, inviting glow. One by one, they stepped into the radiance, hearts racing and spirits soaring as they ventured into the unknown, embarking on the adventure.
