Chapter 11: Feast of the black serpent!!

The demon lord had long grabbed the desert by the neck and flew into the air.

"You know, I really wish you were a demon, I really like how decisive and charismatic you are"

"I'd rather die than be part of such a cruel race". Since he wasn't actually being choked, the deserter could still speak.

"Oh, is that what you think?, that we're so bored that we would travel half around the world just to come and destroy you?....kid, you still know nothing of the terrors of the world....what could you possibly know of the ocean?". The demon lord's expression got darker the more he spoke.

"I don't care!!, all I see is an obviously stronger race bullying my people!!". The deserter said with anger burning in his eyes.

"Well...I guess you're not wrong, we probably didn't need to wipe you all out but my people needed to vent so... such is life really, never been fair". After thinking about it the demon lord snapped the deserter's neck and let his body fall to the ground.

BAM!!

The deserter's body fell right into the middle of the battlefield. The battle seized for a bit.

"Deserter King!!!"

The human soldiers screamed with emotion, instead of it demotivating them like the demon lord thought it would do, the humans become even more aggressive in their attacks.

At this point if it wasn't because of Zom's ten thousand zombies which he would keep on replacing with fallen soldiers. Along with Minerva's mind control which could affect a thousand soldiers at the same time, the demons would have long been overpowered.

Of course the other dukes were effective too, just that their abilities couldn't affect many people at the same time. Kane was obliterating anyone that got in his way. Bane was doing whatever his ability does because the author forgot what it is. Then there was Judah, he was doing something too.

"Hmm, I guess I should take out their mages first", said the demon lord as attacks bounced off his energy shield.

With that he disappeared and appeared at the back lines of the humans.

"Feast of the black serpent"

With that enchant from the demon lord, a huge black serpent made from his darkness element appeared in front of him. It quickly started attacking the humans, swallowing them whole, it's mouth large enough to swallow five at a time.

Those swallowed were as good as dead the moment they were swallowed. This was because the darkness element was known to be extremely corrosive, not to mention the demon lord's darkness element which was a lot purer than anything they had seen before. So by the time they reached deeper into the serpent's body they'd likely only be bones by then.

Those with the light element started tossing spells at the snake like mad since they couldn't do anything to the demon lord who was behind it. Just when they thought they were close to defeating it after tens of people dying, the demon lord smiled.

"Massacre"

With that single word, the serpent increased size by a lot, appeared more real than before as it now had visible scales and even grew horns above its glowing red eyes. It could now devour twenty people at once.

The humans were shocked and even became less hyper than before, but still continued attacking.

"Hehehe, I guess these humans didn't know you can use a spell without saying the whole enchant, though it reduces the power".
