The Saiyan In The Cultivation World.

Chapter 61: Chapter 61

"Alright, before you all head out, I'd like to introduce a new concept from Eternal Blossom Enterprises," I said, addressing the crowd. Many guests were already preparing to leave, eager to return home and avoid lingering here once the Radiant Sun came seeking answers. But my words stopped them in their tracks, forcing their attention back to me.

"Getting robbed is a terrifying prospect," I began, my tone calm but deliberate. "People might even attack your clan or sect for the wealth it holds. But what if there was a way to ensure that attackers would gain absolutely nothing from targeting you or your organization—because your wealth was safeguarded elsewhere?"

At that, the murmur of restless conversation ceased, and all eyes were on me. Their curiosity was piqued.

"This," I said, holding up a sleek card, "is a debit card. Think of it as the key to accessing your wealth—a key that only works for the person it's assigned to. It can securely hold your personal wealth, your clan's resources, and more. And when you need to make a purchase, it's as simple as this."

I tapped the card on a nearby scanner. A soft chime echoed through the room, signaling a successful transaction. The crowd's attention sharpened, intrigued by the seamless demonstration.

"And just like that, you've paid for what you want," I said with a smile, gesturing to the card in my hand. "With this, your wealth is protected. The card becomes useless in the hands of others, and no one can force you to make a purchase on their behalf. Attempting such an act would be considered theft, and Eternal Blossom Enterprises would step in to ensure no one steals from you. In other words, possessing this card not only safeguards your wealth but also provides an additional layer of protection—because anyone who tries to take what's yours risks invoking the wrath of Eternal Blossom Enterprises."

The room buzzed with murmurs of cautious interest, but one voice rose above the rest.

"But aren't we putting too much of our wealth into your hands?" an old man asked, voicing the doubt that many clearly shared.

I nodded, acknowledging his concern. "Indeed, you're entrusting a significant amount of your wealth to my hands," I admitted, my tone calm and confident. "But think about this—there are far more benefits for me in not betraying that trust. Every time you make a purchase using this card, a small fee is applied. And as for those fees," I added with a relaxed smile, "you can discuss with the Eternal Bank to determine how your background might influence them."

The crowd exchanged glances, the gears of curiosity and caution turning in their minds.

"We also offer loans—with low interest rates," I continued, my tone light yet confident. "On my next birthday, I plan to introduce a new concept called a credit card. It's still a work in progress, but the idea is simple: it would act as a small loan. Your ability to pay it back on time would determine your credit score. The better your credit score, the lower your interest rates will be. In fact, for those with excellent scores, some things might even become dirt cheap—or outright free. But as I said, it's still a working concept."

The crowd fell silent, exchanging uncertain glances. No one seemed quite sure how to respond, their curiosity tempered by caution.

As I observed their reactions, a triumphant thought crossed my mind. 'After this, apartment buildings should make their appearance in this world. I'll be so rich…' My eyes glowed with anticipation at the endless possibilities ahead.

As everyone left, I knew they wouldn't rush to acquire a debit card—not until the matter with the Radiant Sun was resolved. Once the guests had departed, the emperor pulled me aside to discuss the looming threat of the Radiant Sun. His concern wasn't for my safety; he trusted that Lan Mei was more than capable of protecting me. What troubled him was the fate of the empire. He feared it might be destroyed under the Radiant Sun's wrath.

I eased his worries by revealing a few of the puppets I had created. With my upcoming venture into the Ancient Dragon Tomb next week, alongside everyone else entering, I needed to ensure the empire would be well-protected in my absence. These weren't ordinary puppets—they were my finest work.

And yes, the strongest of them boasted a power level exceeding 100. Not only that but they were equipped with my techniques. This was, without a doubt, my proudest achievement. Even more impressive, they could utilize Kaio-Ken to push their strength beyond limits, reaching levels my own body couldn't yet endure—Kaio-Ken x2.

That's right. My current body couldn't handle such power; for now, I was restricted to a mere 50% boost to my power level. But even that modest boost translated to a massive leap in the cultivation world. To others, it would seem like more than double my capability.

Just as I was about to instruct Lan Mei to take Zhu Yue to my mansion to finish reforming her Dao, my attention shifted to Lan Mei herself. She was staring into the void.

I never understood why they called it the void—it wasn't a true void, just a parallel space where only those above the Nascent Soul realm could exist.

Curious, I extended my Observation Haki, spreading it out until it locked onto three individuals hiding within the void. Their concealment was impressive; even with my Haki, tracking them was difficult. If I hadn't been fully focused, I might have lost them entirely.

"You guys were fast," I said lightly.

With those words, two figures materialized before me. I studied them for a moment before turning my gaze toward the third individual still lingering in the void. After a brief glance, I chose to ignore him entirely. Instead, my eyes settled on the blind cripple in the wheelchair.

"We came to apologize," the young man in the wheelchair said, his tone calm as he offered a faint bow. "Sword Deity Yue was not sent to offend you but merely to test your capabilities, so we could confirm our theories about your background."

"Oh?" I replied, caught off guard by his words. Was it really that easy for them to deduce I was the offspring of an immortal? Then again, I shouldn't have been surprised—everyone else had been too blind to make that connection. Did they really believe this small world could have produced someone like me?

"But your timing was terrible," I continued, raising an eyebrow. "Look at the damage you've done to the hall—and on my birthday, no less. Is that not a slap to the face?"

"We came not only to apologize but also to compensate you and those we've troubled," the young man said, producing a fragment of a mirror from within his robes.

"I understand your student, Fang Yan, was the one who first brought this item into our world. We recovered this fragment long ago," he added, handing the mirror piece to me.

I examined the fragment briefly before tossing it into the air. In a brilliant flash, Fang Yan appeared, his eyes bright with excitement as he caught the fragment midair.

"Yes! This is one of the seven fragments," he said eagerly, retrieving the broken mirror he carried. Carefully, he fit the fragment into its place. The mirror pulsed with radiant energy, glowing with the immense power of space and time.

"Well, that's one down, seven to go... It's crazy how I'd almost forgotten about the mirror," I said with a casual shrug. "Anyways, thanks. But as for the injured and the damage to the city? I'll leave that to you guys to handle. It's my bedtime." With a yawn, I turned and began to walk away.

"Wait," the blind cripple called out, stopping me in my tracks. "Before you go, I want to tell you about the Radiant Sun's goals."

I frowned, turning back to look at him.

"Many see the Heaven Splitting Deity as a figure to be worshipped," he began, his voice soft yet heavy with meaning. "But in truth, he doomed our world. Sure, splitting the sky accelerated our cultivation system, allowing it to grow rapidly. But it also brought unwanted attention to us—attention we weren't prepared for. Compared to the vastness of the outside world, we're less than grains of sand. We weren't ready to explore the stars."

"If our small world were the size of a palm, our galaxy alone would span over 10 million kilometers," he explained, his voice steady yet grave. "And there are an ever-increasing number of galaxies out there. In those vast expanses, Nascent Soul realm cultivators are as common as grains of sand on a beach. Those above the Nascent Soul realm number in the trillions or even greater. We are simply not ready for the stars."

I frowned, uncertain why he was telling me all this.

"I'm telling you this," he continued, his tone softening slightly, "because we know it's only a matter of time before you begin exploring the stars. When you do, it will draw unwanted attention to this world. That's why we want to work with you. The Radiant Sun has survived for millions of years to ensure humanity's survival. Our next step to safeguard that legacy is to align ourselves with you."

I paused, considering his words, before shaking my head.

"I'll consider you as investors," I said with a smirk. "I'm starting to enjoy the life of building a business empire. Let's talk more about this partnership after the whole Dragon Tomb ordeal."

Even as I spoke, my thoughts wandered to the Dragon Tomb. I had a feeling it would hold or something, I needed: Matter Manipulation.

My goal was to unlock a way to manipulate atoms, not by crudely splitting them to cause nuclear explosions, but by rearranging them into entirely new forms. Imagine taking a simple flower and restructuring its atoms to create a completely different plant with the precise properties I needed. For example, I could create a rare herb necessary for crafting a soul pill by transforming sand into that very herb.

I recalled something from my time on Earth: matter is simply super-condensed energy. That understanding explained why splitting an atom released such immense energy. By extension, it meant that, in theory, one could take pure energy and reshape it into matter, if they had enough energy and the knowledge to control it.
