The Sinner's Harem: Sins of the Anti-hero

He was in love, that they were in love, never in a hundred year did Nicolas ever thought that he will fall in love, especially with Patrica but when he did, he started to change.

He wasn't going as hard in training as before, he was not going on mission which was as life threating ashe used to take before, even his taste in women changes from blonde to brunette.

This fact alone make Nicolas chuckle whenever he thought about that. Anyways, but followed from then on was happy love story filled with with lots of love and joy.

Nicholas and patrica, they both stated together, traveled to a lots of places together, had a lots of fun while making a name while travelling together, and lastly had a child together as they settled at a place... Together.

However, just like every good thing has to come to an end thier Love story too reached it's epilogue as time started passing and mercilessly started to separate the two of them.

Being a Soldier, Nicholas has life span which is around a 120 years where a normal human live upto 60 at best, however the same could not be said about Patrica who started getting old slowly.

It doesn't happen overnight, but with time she started feeling weak, I eyesight become weak, followed by her muscles as a health to started to decline and before Nicholas knows it, you only so patrica stuck to a bet everyday.

It was hurting to say the least for him, as he watch how his wife life come near it end. It was then that he realise that, even though they have been together for 30 long years, it's still wasn't enough for him.

'I wanted to spend more time with you,' he thought devasted by just thinking that he has to spend around 60 more years without his heart.

He just wanted to live with her and die with her, that's all he ever wanted.

So he did what he thought is the best he could do at that time, he started travelling again but this time in search of what could be called the elixer of life, a Soul Flower.

He only had one purpose in his mind, it was to make his wife a soul Warrior, so that she can live as long as him if not more.

But... It seems that he failed as the hand torture inches away from Evan's face.

There he saw the same rope gun, he was using to catch fishes with just around an hour so ago, the one who shot it was none other than Kelvin, who was somehow still alive but with the blooded hole in his hand.

"I shot a soldier!!!" Kelvin shouted at the top of his lungs as he pulled back the trigger and as soon as he did so, the arrow expanded to get a good grip inside the body before started pulling in backwards.

Evan watches as how the arrow expanded as he watched how the guy growned in pain, maybe his heart is injured he thought, as he saw the glass locket of his cracking from middle.

One side of heart was full of cracks which expanded as they broke down leaving the other intact, in which he saw his reflection.

"You got me good once," Nicholas set as he used his strong bear close for cutting the rope as he slowly walked towards towards Kelvin.

He was injured, he knows that, but it was at a level which he thought he could handle before leaving and get medical help.

"You can die first then kid," He said as his he covered his bloody stomach as the smell of blood filled the cave.

"I still have something," Kelvin said as Nicolas raised his eye and even I became a bit curious.

"What might that be?" Nicolas asked, becoming alert, being a Soldier, he is just at the peak of human form, however, he doesn't have anything special except his arms.

This was also the reason he was able to injure him, after all, even a strong human cannot dough a flying arrow, and so he was alert for any attack that might come his way.

"It's fish food," Kelvin said bring his hand in front of him and show a weird small biscuit from a box at him giving him no time to react even though he was alert, they were so many in number and not some cold weapon that he was expecting.

As soon as the biscuit touched him, a weird smell spread around as Nicolas looked around as nothing really happened, but then...

*Stab

A fish jumped out of water and stabbed it's long horn inside him as it tried to eat the biscuit and before he could remove it, another one jumped out, and then another...

Taking this chance, Kelvin pushed him in the river as soon, all the fishes in the river was all over him, and for the first time, they were able to see the bottom of the rest of the river which was filled with one and two petal soul flowers, even three occasionally.

It was a beautiful sight to say the least as the golden lake suddenly become silver.

"He died like a dog," I muttered as I walked beside Kelvin after picking up the gun and sword while gave him a one big look, seriously doubting if he is the main character of this world or not.

Even if he isn't, his luck is still off the charts to say the least.

"He did," Kelvin said, still excited about killing a soldier, it was a feat like no other even though he used tricks and trickery.

Suddenly, they heart a big stone moving and saw Jack escaping through a tunnel which closed itself, giving both of them a deep look.

"Should we chase after him?"

"Na, let him go, we should just get soul flower and leave, we really stuck gold it seems, with this many of them, we can have so much wealth that our next 7 generations don't need to worry about running out of money."

"Is that so..."

"Yea, and even a single petal one will heal my arm to new, there is nothing these things can't heal, from injuries to illness, not to mention that I can be a warrior too!"

"Yea," damn, these things are more expensive than I thought.

"By the way, you have to protect me after I eat that flower, getting soul core is not an easy process,"

"Is it painful?"

"I won't call it painful though it's certainly is the lengthy process, like how a butterfly came out of the larva."

"I see..."

"So what's the plan, I don't think we can peacefully swim there, this place looks like it haven't been touched for centuries, I wonder if these anything beside fishes through the chances are slim."

"Yup, we need a bait, while we get it," He said as I look at him.

"Fuck you Evan!!!" Kelvin shouted as as he hanged the rope at one corner of the lake as fishes jumps while gathering just below him to get their biscuit covered Kelvin, that is if they managed to reach him.

"You are doing good, just give me a minute!" I said as I hanged the other rope just above the four petal one, these arrow are really useful, I should get one for myself too.

Slowly, I pick up the flower which was on the top of the river bed and as soon as I did so, the fishes which were behind Evan started pushing towards me.

"Well, shit..." I said as I immediately climbed up, as the dishes gathered below me, "Ev-Evan!!" Kelvin shouted, but I barely registered it, as I saw the rope started to break.

"I will never get one of these..." I said, as the rope started to betray me at the most critical moment.

'I will die, I will definitely die if I don't do anything, shit shit shit shit,' I thought as finally seriousness returned to my face.
