The Strongest Frostt Loli: Trending One Piece Fanfiction Reincarnation

Chapter 113: The Great Blizzard

A roar echoed, accompanied by a crackle of lightning. Kanata dodged the attack, then kicked the dragon's jaw, forcing its mouth shut.

"Haa! Haa!"

Linlin attacked from the side, but was blocked by Kanata's spear. They sound of their weapons clashing reverberated through the air.

She tried to keep Linlin, enveloped in Prometheus' flames, at bay with her ice spear, but her attacks, lacking Haki, weren't even effective as a deterrent.

Linlin charged with Zeus clutched in her hand. Kanata shifted her body slightly to dodged the attack and slipped into Linlin's unguarded space. She discarded her spear, stepped forward and slammed both her palms against Linlin's chest.

The impact that penetrated her flesh, left Linlin stunned. Kanata seized the opportunity and sent her flying with a kick.

"…."

She looked at her palms. While they were slightly warm, it wasn't a serious burn. She had countered the flames by coating her body in a thin layer of ice.

However, the impact had felt weak.

"You've gotten stronger, Linlin."

"Who are you talking down to…?! I've always been stronger than you!"

"Then why is my head still attached to my body? I want to finish off Kaido… but I'll take you down first."

"Try it!!"

She effortlessly parried the attack an was about to counter when her Observation Haki warned her of danger.

She instinctively dodged, and a bolt of lightning struck the spot where she had been standing. It was Zeus's doing.

"Troublesome."

Linlin's Homies were sentient, like natural disasters given form.

Prometheus, the embodiment of a raging inferno.

Zeus, the embodiment of a furious storm.

She had fought them before, but these two Homies, infused with a fragment of Linlin's soul, were incredibly strong.

Kanata approached Linlin who was still enveloped in Prometheus, and launched a series of attacks. Due to the large difference in their physiques, Linlin aimed for Kanata's feet. Linlin, then locked blades with Kanata as Prometheus' flames intensified.

"Hahahamama!! I'll burn you alive!"

"Do you think you can do anything to me with those weak flames –"

"–Boro Breath!!"

A torrent of flames erupted from behind.

Linlin simply reinforced her body with Armament Haki. Kanata clicked her tongue as she deflected Linlin's sword and, spun her spear to cleave through Kaido's Boro Breath.

As if anticipating her move, Linlin swung her sword horizontally. Kanata caught the blade between her right elbow and knee.

Unable to maintain her balance, she was sent flying.

Kaido, waiting for that moment, swung his club with incredible speed.

"Thunder Bagua!!"

Clang!

With a crash, Kanata's body broke into pieces, and in the next moment the ice gathered together and regenerated.

Kaido, still unbalanced from his attack, was struck in the abdomen by Kanata's spear.

"Ooh–!"

His Armament Haki activated just in time to protect him from a fatal wound, but he was still sent flying.

Linlin then released Zeus's power on Kanata by slamming it down.

"Thunder –!!"

"One after another… How annoying!"

Kanata froze the ground, creating a giant ice hand that intercepted Linlin's attack.

The ice hand shattered, and Linlin emerged, swinging Napoleon. Kanata intercepted her with her spear.

"–Conqueror's Haki!"

"Conqueror's Haki!"

They used the same technique at the same time. Kanata's superior skill gave her a slight advantage. Linlin got a cut on her cheek, but she didn't stop. She raised Napoleon again.

"Emperor's Sword Cognac – Haha Slash!!"

The flaming blade was blocked by the spear, and the air swelled with the sudden change in temperature caused by the collision of hot and cold air.

Kanata froze the ground beneath her feet, gradually expanding the area of ice.

Linlin seemed to have guessed what Kanata was planning to do next, and quickly moved away.

"You're a perceptive woman."

"I haven't lived this long for nothing!!"

She had planned to attack from below, but Linlin had anticipated her move.

They had fought countless times. It was natural for them to be familiar with each other's tactics.

Kanata attacked by throwing her Haki-infused ice spear, then charged into close combat.

She manipulated the spear she had thrown, slamming it down, then kicked the shaft, sending it flying towards Linlin again.

Linlin, frustrated by the constant barrage of small-scale attacks, unleashed Zeus's lightning.

"Get out of my way!!"

"Do you really think a large-scale attack like that will hit me while I'm constantly moving and creating openings?"

It was all about patience.

Kanata weaved through the lightning, approaching Linlin, then noticed something.

– She wasn't enveloped in Prometheus!

Linlin had been using him to nullify Kanata's ice attacks. She must have separated from him when she unleashed the lightning.

But even Linlin knew that Prometheus alone could be easily contained by Kanata.

What was she planning? – As she pondered, she saw Prometheus expand, spewing flames.

"Heavenly Bonbon!!"

An explosion erupted that engulfed the surrounding area in flames. It was an attack that could have harmed even Linlin.

Kanata wasn't the target. She was simply trying to reduce the effectiveness of the cold by creating a wall of fire.

"I told you those weak flames are useless!"

"Then try freezing them!!"

Their Conqueror's Haki clashed again.

Kaido transformed into his dragon form and began coiling around them, creating a whirlwind. There was no need to ask what he was planning.

"Prometheus!"

"Yes, Mama!!"

Reuniting with Prometheus, Linlin moved away from the center of the whirlwind. She unleashed Conqueror's Haki at Kanata, momentarily stopping her pursuit.

"–Dragon Twister!"

Kaido's whirlwind drew in Prometheus' flames, creating a fiery tornado that rose towards the sky.

Kaido and Linlin kept their distance from the fire tornado that was burning with extraordinary force, and watched the progress, hoping that it would have even the slightest effect. The flames scorched the earth and the air. Even Linlin smiled, confident that Kanata wouldn't emerge unscathed from this.

– Just as her focus wavered, a giant arm burst from the inferno.

"Frost Giant Jötunn!"

"What the hell is that?!"

Even Kaido was stunned as the ice giant emerged from the flames. Its surface was clad in black Haki and restraining the fiery tornado. Kanata appeared from behind the giant's shoulder, glaring at Kaido and Linlin.

"Get ready, Kaido. This is where the real fight begins."

"Yes… It seems so."

She hadn't even been serious until now.

Kaido realized that he hadn't even been worthy of her full strength. He watched as she unleashed her ability that encompassed a vast area.

The temperature plummeted and snow began falling from the darkening sky. The environment shifted drastically.

The world was being reshaped by Kanata's power. Kaido felt a sense of exhilaration.

"Now we're talking… As I thought, you're the strongest opponent I have to defeat, Kanata…!"

***

Dark clouds began to gather and everyone could feel the temperature dropping rapidly.

Izo, looking up at the sky, instinctively understood that Kanata had begun to fight seriously.

"This is bad. George!"

"I know! Twilight Pirates! Fall back! Hurry!!"

The executives, accustomed to such situations, began to retreat. Their confused subordinates followed suit. Staying in one location would leave them vulnerable to a concentrated attack.

The samurai, the Beasts Pirates, and the Big Mom Pirates were bewildered by the Twilight Pirates' sudden retreat.

"What are you doing…?"

"We need to create some distance. It's dangerous to be too close," Zen explained to Katakuri, who was frowning.

The plummeting temperature, the snow falling from the sky – and then, they saw it. The ice giant, emerging from the fiery tornado. Katakuri understood.

"Brother Perospero is… down…!"

He and Queen had been severely injured by Feiyun.

Katakuri turned to his brother, Mont-d'Or, who had been directing the battle from the rear.

"Mont-d'Or! We're retreating as well!"

"W-What…?! But why?! We're supposed to drive back the Twilight Pirates! Why are they retreating now?!"

"The Witch has started fighting seriously! We'll be caught in the crossfire if we stay here!!"

Mont-d'Or looked towards Linlin. He hadn't expected the aftermath of their battle to reach this far. "No way…" he muttered, but the biting cold convinced him. He immediately began to act.

"King! I'm leaving the Twilight Pirates to you! We're retreating!"

"Very well. We don't want to be caught in that either."

King, who had been using his speed to distract Feiyun while the Numbers kept her occupied, landed on the ground.

He glanced at the unconscious Queen, muttering "Useless fool," then ordered the medical team to hurry.

Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit users were incredibly resilient. Queen would recover faster than Perospero.

Even then, Feiyun's strength, capable of knocking out Queen with a single blow, wasn't something to be underestimated. Even King had been in several dangerous situations.

They were pushing back the Twilight Pirates with the help of the Big Mom Pirates, but… if they didn't deal with Feiyun, there was no way they could win.

And at the same time…

(…Kaido-san. I never thought you would lose, but…)

The "Witch" was different from any enemy they had ever encountered.

He had never seen a monster capable of manipulating the environment on such a large scale. Even King, who considered himself quite strong, wouldn't escape unscathed if he was caught in the crossfire.

For the first time, he felt ashamed of blindly trusting his captain.

***

"I hate the heat," Kanata said amidst the falling snow.

She had been in the fiery tornado, but she had immediately defended herself. She hadn't sustained any burns.

While both Linlin and Kaido had minor injuries, Kanata's skin was still unscathed.

However…

(This is troublesome.)

While she seemed to be in control, the relentless attacks from Linlin and Kaido were making it difficult to counterattack.

Focusing solely on defense would allow her to survive, but it meant she couldn't fight back.

Therefore, she decided to attack, even if it meant sustaining some injuries.

"Frost Giant Jötunn."

The ice giant, clad in black Haki, moved in sync with her. It was even more refined than when she had fought Linlin before.

Linlin and Kaido laughed at the sight of the bizarre figure.

"Mamahahahaha…! You always surprise me!"

"Worororororo…!! I was getting a little too heated! This is refreshing!!"

Kaido transforms into a giant dragon and mercilessly targeted the frost giant, delivering a powerful blow.

"Boro Breath!!"

However, the Frost Giant effortlessly cleaved through the flames with its spear and, with incredible speed, closed the distance and pinned Kaido down.

Linlin reinforced her fist with Haki and punched the Frost Giant's back.

"…! I felt that. You're syncing with it, aren't you?!"

It was impossible for ordinary ice to possess such strength and Haki.

Kanata was channeling her Haki into the Frost Giant to enhance its power. Which meant, destroying the Frost Giant would damage Kanata.

"Mamahahahaha!! This is the perfect target!!"

Summoning Zeus, Linlin approached the immobile Frost Giant and ignored Kanata.

It was durable, but not indestructible.

It seemed she had realized she couldn't win with her previous strategy and had switched tactics. But it was too late.

"Thunder!!"

A powerful bolt of lightning struck the Frost Giant's chest, creating a massive hole. The shockwave reached Kaido.

It had been a powerful attack.

Even Kanata wouldn't escape unscathed… or so she thought, but – she noticed the Frost Giant, which had been black, had returned to its original, crystal-clear color.

No way… She turned around.

"You're not stupid… but you're too careless."

The Frost Giant reformed.

This time, prioritizing speed over form, it was only a right arm, but it slammed into Linlin.

"If I can sync, I can also sever the connection. You've taught me something, Linlin."

It was Kanata's Haki-infused attack. Even Linlin, who had taken it head-on, wouldn't escape unscathed.

She was about to follow up with another attack when she noticed Kaido approaching.

No matter how honed her Observation Haki was, focusing solely on one opponent created blind spots. Especially against someone as powerful as Linlin.

Kaido was already attacking. She tried to dodge, but a searing pain shot through her arm.

"Mother's Flame!!"

"Linlin…!"

A blade, enveloped in Prometheus' flames, shattered the Frost Giant's right arm.

She had underestimated Linlin's durability.

Her focus had shifted to Kaido. She hadn't checked Linlin's movements after the attack.

But even then… she shouldn't have let her focus waver, not with Kaido right before her.

"–Thunder Bagua!!!"

"–?!"

The attack struck like a thunderbolt.

Kaido's Haki and lightning-infused club struck Kanata's head.

It was the first time in this battle that Kaido's attack had landed.

"OOOOOOHHH–RAAAAHHH!!!"

He swung his club with all his might, sending Kanata flying. It was his most powerful attack, with everything he had.

His body was battered, his wounds numerous. Even with his Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit ability, enduring any more damage would be fatal. But he laughed.

"…How do you like my strongest attack?"

"…It wasn't bad."

Blood tricked from Kanata's forehead. She coughed and the taste of blood filled her mouth.

The cold air was calming her heated mind. She created countless ice weapons in preparation for her next move.

"But you're at your limit. I could kill both you and Linlin, but…"

It was a disadvantageous situation.

The Frost Giant, due to its synced nature, would transfer any damage it received to her. She had used it as a bluff and to restrain Kaido, but Linlin had learned her lesson. She wouldn't be able to use it again.

She also had Niflheim Silver World, her trump card, but it wasn't effective against Linlin, who could manipulate flames.

It was a closed space that weakened opponents with cold, but it wouldn't work against someone who could generate their own heat.

She could trap both of them and kill Kaido, but expending that much Haki would leave her vulnerable to Linlin.

Of course, Linlin would also be exhausted, but… they weren't on the same level.

(…This is as far as I can go.)

She had wanted to kill Kaido.

She had seen his potential for future threat, and he had managed to injure her, even with Linlin's assistance.

But pushing herself now would only lead to a prolonged battle against Linlin, and potentially, a war against the Marines.

She couldn't understand Sengoku's intentions, his silence about Linlin's movements.

If there was no benefit to continuing, it was better to retreat and conserve her strength.

"Unfortunately, this is as far as we go today."

"Hmm, you're surprisingly cooperative. I didn't expect you to run away so easily."

"It would be easy to kill Kaido, but you're a different matter. I acknowledge your strength."

He was an enemy she would have to defeat eventually, but she acknowledged his power.

She unleashed a barrage of ice projectiles, creating a distraction, then slipped past Kaido.

"I'll kill you next time. Wash your neck and wait."

She landed a Haki-infused kick on Kaido's side, sending him flying towards Linlin.

Linlin, who had just swung her sword, narrowly avoided slicing Kaido in half. She caught him and threw him aside.

She searched for Kanata, but she was already gone.
