The Strongest Ice God of Black Clover

Chapter 15: The Strongest Ice God Of Black Clover 015 Black bull Knights

In the original story, no one raised their hand, and Asta was the one spotted by the head of the Black Bull Knights, ultimately joining their ranks. However, because of Lin Hao's presence, when the call reached Asta, one of the knights actually raised their hand.

That knight was from the Emerald Mantis Knights.

After a long pause, the announcer called out the next candidate.

"The next one, candidate number 264!"

Lin Hao stepped forward as soon as he heard his number.

"Those who want to join a group, please raise your hand!"

"Shua, shua, shua!"

The nine knight leaders raised their hands simultaneously once again.

Once again, everyone was shocked!

"It's amazing, all the heads raised their hands again."

"Yes, it seems like the royal family and nobles will be getting slapped in the face this time."

"This is really surprising! The heads raised their hands twice. The most surprising thing is that both of them are from border villages."

Lin Hao glanced at the nine leaders in front of him. To be honest, he didn't care which knight order he joined. But seeing all the knight leaders raise their hands at once, he would have to pick one that felt a little more normal.

In Lin Hao's eyes, half of the knight leaders were quite unusual.

For example, the leader of the Silver Winged Vulture Knights had a braid at the front with an ornament hanging from its end. The leader of the Emerald Mantis Knights had an eerie resemblance to Orochimaru from Naruto. And the leader of the Coral Peacock Knights had his eyes shut ever since entering the arena, with a bubble rising and falling from his nose with each breath.

Lin Hao found these eccentricities hard to appreciate.

"Well... let me choose which one of you I'll go with!" Lin Hao said, his voice calm.

At his words, an awkward silence fell.

"This kid..."

The leader of the Golden Dawn frowned. He couldn't understand. The Golden Dawn Knights were the most powerful knight order. Yet Lin Hao was choosing the Black Bull Knights, a rogue group with a reputation more for chaos than strength.

"Really! Did I hear that right? He passed up joining the Golden Dawn? And also turned down the Silver Winged Eagle Knights for the Black Bull Knights?"

"This guy... such a rare opportunity has been wasted."

"Yeah, if the leaders of my nine knight orders raised their hands, I'd definitely choose the Golden Dawn."

"Oh, it's such a shame."

At this moment, Yami, hearing Lin Hao's choice, thought he had misheard.

"Did that kid just say he wanted to join our group?" Yami asked his fellow Black Bull members.

"Yeah, a good seed just fell into our lap! We're so lucky. I thought for sure he'd choose Golden Dawn," one of them replied.

"Are you sure?" the leader of the Golden Dawn asked, directing his attention to Lin Hao.

"Hey, hey, what's the matter? Didn't this kid say something already? He can't back out now," Yami interjected with a grin.

Lin Hao smiled slightly. "Yes, I want to join the Black Bull Knights."

The leader of the Golden Dawn chuckled lightly and said, "That's fine."

As the sky darkened, the entrance examination for the Magic Knights came to an end.

"My name is Yuno. If there's a chance, we'll settle the battle that wasn't decided today," Yuno said as he walked over to Lin Hao.

Lin Hao shook his head slightly. "I, Lin Hao! As for the battle, forget it. It's too much trouble. You win."

Yuno paused for a moment, then replied calmly, "No, victory that isn't earned by oneself is meaningless."

"By the way, is your goal also to become the Magic Emperor?" Yuno asked.

Lin Hao shook his head. "No, I'm not interested in the Magic Emperor."

Yuno smiled slightly. "That's right. No wonder you passed up the best path and chose the Black Bull Knights."

"Boy, it's time to go," Yami called out to Lin Hao from the side.

"Okay," Lin Hao replied, then turned to Yuno and said, "Alright, let's talk when we get a chance! I should go."

With that, Lin Hao walked toward Yami.

"Let's go, Finral," Yami called.

Finral, a member of the Black Bull Knights, specialized in space magic. He came from the Vaude family, a powerful line of space magicians. His younger brother was the deputy head of Golden Dawn, but Finral had fled from his family because of his aversion to violence. He preferred women to anything else.

"Okay!" Finral replied, his Grimoire opening to reveal a blue glow. He waved his hand, and a circle of silver light appeared.

Lin Hao walked in slowly, following Yami.
