The Superior System: Incredible Benedict Muller

Chapter 16: Chapter 16: The Mark of Honour

"That's a lot, Mr Muller, but where did you get this fly pig? Although this monster is the lowest on the iron scale, it is very tasty and rare," Enrique asked curiously.

"I don't know, sir; the point is that I'm hunting in the desert, near that rocky hill, north of here. What about Mr Malik? Do you want to take it all?" asked Benedict.

"I want to take all of Mr Muller, but I don't have enough money. How much do you want to sell Mr Muller for?" asked Enrique.

"Well, let's put it this way, Mr Malik. Sell all the Fly Pig meat first. We'll split the profit; how about that?" Benedict asked back.

"I trust Mr Malik. If there is any important news call me on this number. I have to hunt today."

"Well, Mr Muller, thank you for your generosity. Here's 50,000,000 for the initial payment," Enrique said as he handed over a paper bag filled with money.

"Be careful, sir; there are many pickpockets and thugs here."

"Is there no bank here? I don't know how to carry this much money," Benedict asked.

"It's on the right-hand side of the road north of here, about 400 metres from here," Enrique replied.

"Thank you, Mr Malik. I want to take my leave," Benedict said, bowing respectfully.

"You're welcome, sir. I'll let you know if all the meat is sold out; it's a pleasure doing business with you," Enrique replied with a bow.

Imane was waiting at the gate. The staff at the grocery store were loading the huge amount of food into Imane's jeep. Imane planned to distribute food and groceries to the homeless and poor areas of Diamond Frost City, to the north near Roxi's bank branch.

"That's many groceries. Can you take me to the bank on the north side?" Benedict asked, pointing north.

"It just so happens that I'm also going there to distribute this food and groceries you bought to the homeless and poor there. Let's go!" exclaimed Imane.

"Thankfully, the money I gave you was not wasted. Hurry up; I'm also going to cook some food for you. I'm also going hunting to increase my strength; at least when I meet the Azure Dragon and Geisha, I can fight evenly with them," replied Benedict, who was already in the car, and Imane drove the car quite fast in the 40 km/h crowd.

"Sir, what level are Aetherians? Even I, who's level 5, was defeated by you soundly," Imane asked with a curious look.

"I don't know; I was marginalised at the academy. The supervisors decided I was in level one, but during the level test, I was in an unknown level," Benedict replied.

"This is the first time the machine can't identify the level of an Aetherians; what's going on?" Imane thought to herself, wondering if this had ever happened to previous machine versions.

"Why, is there something on your mind?" asked Benedict, who gave Imane a confused look.

"It's fine, sir. But your case is really strange; your level is only level one or unknown, but your strength is very strong at level 7 or even above. In a single attack, a gold-level monster is killed instantly; level 7 alone facing a gold-level monster is still a bit of a struggle. Yet you can easily defeat many monsters in a single attack," Imane replied.

They both arrived in front of Roxi's bank; Benedict went inside it to deposit his money. Meanwhile, Imane went to the poor neighbourhood and distributed food. The poor people were pleased.

"Thank you, city leader," said one homeless man named Chinyelu, a 20-year-old.

Benedict already had 50 million on his atm card. Then went out to the poor settlement; Benedict was sad to see them in a slum and not taken care of.

"I can give you a job like finding me metal stones. I'll set up a weapons shop here," Benedict mused.

"This fellow Diamond Frost resident is Mr Muller. The one who gave us all this food," Imane said, introducing Benedict.

"Thank you, Mr Muller!" replied all the residents of the poor settlement, bowing respectfully.

"You're welcome; please enjoy it and take it to your respective homes for your food supplies," Benedict replied.

"I want to give to my friends who can still work. I want to set up a weapons shop here; you can find me metal stones to make weapons. I will pay for each metal; the better the type of metal, the higher the price I give; how?" added Benedict.

Their faces lit up as if they had been living in misery and unemployment.

"I want, sir!"

"I am also, sir!"

"Yes, me too, sir!"

Suddenly all the residents scrambled to become Benedict's workers.

"Well, tomorrow morning, you can collect metal stones. But I don't have a place to set up shop yet," Benedict said.

"I'm Troy, sir, and I have a run-down former shop next to my house. If you want to use it for free, I'll take care of it," Troy replied with a show of hands.

"No, Troy. I'll buy it, tell me how much? And the cost of renovation," Benedict asked.

Troy was at a loss as to how much to say; he didn't know the selling price of his old shop.

"All right, I'll give you 100 million; if less, you can say so," Benedict added.

"No, sir, that's a lot. It could buy all 100 of our houses here. Just 20 million, we will make your shop the most luxurious shop here," Troy replied.

"Okay, from now on, you will be the shop manager. And you can use the rest of this money to buy metal stones from the villagers and as capital for the shop," Benedict ordered.

"Thank you, sir!" said Troy with a bow of his head.

"Thank you for creating jobs for the poor citizens of Diamond Frost," Imane said with a respectful bow.

"Don't be shy. We'd better return to your house to cook; all the food and ingredients have been distributed, right?" Benedict asked.

"Yes, sir, let's go!" said Imane, who immediately got into the car with Benedict and drove her car east towards Imane's house.

Ten minutes later, Imane's car arrived at a reasonably luxurious house. There were many guards there.

"Welcome, Miss Imane!" greeted the two guards as they bowed respectfully.

Imane just smiled wryly.

"Come on in!" invited Imane to Benedict to enter her house.

"This is a very luxurious house. I'd better find an inn; I'm not fit to enter this house," Benedict refused as he turned towards the main gate of Imane's luxurious, Classical European-style home.
