Chapter 15: Hell and Primordials
The following day, Beerus summoned Velzar, Zerna, and Erva. He declared his next goal: recruiting the remaining primordial demons from the demon world. Despite the memory erasure, the primordial demons had all heard the VOTW announcement. Yet, since Beerus had erased his image from their memories, they remained unaware that he was the God of Destruction.
The journey to the demon world was swift, but upon arrival, Beerus noticed how vastly different it was from the cardinal world. The landscape was chaotic and ominous, brimming with untamed energy. Zerna and Erva began briefing Beerus on the personalities of the primordial demons, explaining their strength, pride, and how they only served those they deemed worthy.
Beerus simply nodded and signaled Zerna to release a portion of her aura. The surge of her energy rippled through the demon world like a shockwave, instantly drawing attention. Within minutes, four primordial demons—Black (Noir), Yellow (Jaune), White (Blanc), and Violet—arrived at the scene.
The moment they appeared, the atmosphere grew tense. The primordial demons, known for their arrogance, immediately started bickering and challenging Zerna and Erva. Beerus and Velzar stood silently, observing the interaction.Zerna stepped forward, her voice calm but firm. "I am Zerna, named by my Lord. Address me as such." Erva echoed her sentiment.
The announcement shocked the other primordial demons. A name? From a master? Who was bold—or foolish—enough to name primordial demons? Furthermore, they recalled that Vert and Blue had served Guy Crimson. Yet here they were, with new names and serving an unknown lord.
Noir, who had remained quiet and observant, stepped forward. His sharp gaze rested on Beerus, and he suddenly knelt. "My Lord," Noir said with a reverence that stunned the others, "would you accept this lowly demon as your servant?"Blanc, after seeing Noir's action, followed suit and knelt before Beerus. "I, too, ask to serve you."
Jaune and Violet, however, scoffed, their pride blinding them. "Who the hell is this guy?" Jaune spat. "I'm not serving anyone as weak as you. You barely have any aura. I don't know what these two see in you, but I'm not budging." Violet nodded in agreement, crossing her arms defiantly.
Zerna, angered by their disrespect, was about to act when Beerus raised his hand, signaling her to step back.
Without a word, Beerus took a single step forward and locked his gaze on Jaune and Violet. In that instant, reality warped.
Both Jaune and Violet felt their skills being stripped away, as though an invisible force had shackled them. They were plunged into an endless abyss, a dark void that consumed everything. Pain unlike anything they had ever experienced engulfed them. It was as if their flesh was being peeled away with burning knives while their minds were assaulted by an unbearable pressure.
What was mere seconds in reality felt like an eternity of suffering for them. They were powerless, unable to fight or escape. The experience shattered their pride, forcing them to confront the vast gap in power between them and Beerus. When Beerus blinked, the void disappeared, and the two primordial demons collapsed to their knees, trembling. Their defiance had evaporated, replaced by pure submission.
Both Jaune and Violet bowed their heads low, their voices shaky. "My Lord, forgive our arrogance. We humbly ask to serve you."
Beerus smirked, his gaze as sharp as ever. "Now you understand. Strength isn't something you can challenge lightly." having power is also knowing how to read real.power when you see, how to back down when your instinct tells you that you are outmatched. With that, all four primordial demons pledged their loyalty to Beerus, cementing his authority over the strongest beings in the demon world. His army was growing stronger, and with it, his plans for the future would unfold without opposition.Satisfied with their submission and loyalty, Beerus decided to take their servitude a step further by granting them physical bodies and naming them—a gift that would cement their bond for eternity. Standing tall and emanating an overwhelming aura, Beerus addressed the primordial demons with a commanding voice.
"From this day until eternity," he began, his words ringing with divine authority, "your lives and souls belong to me. You will serve me, even if it kills you. To mark the beginning of our new relationship, I will bestow upon you names."The primordial demons, despite their typically prideful nature, were visibly thrilled. Being named by a being as powerful as Beerus was not only an honor but a guarantee that their power would increase exponentially.
With a smirk, Beerus continued, "Noir, from this day forward, you shall be known as Alfa. Blanc, you shall be named Delta. Jaune, you shall be named Beta. And Violet, you shall be called Sigma."The moment the names were spoken, a dark, swirling mist enveloped each of the primordial demons. The mist was dense and powerful, radiating energy that sent shockwaves through the surrounding area. The primordial demons were encased within black cocoons that pulsed with raw energy, signaling the start of their evolution.
Within the cocoons, the primordial demons underwent a profound transformation. Their bodies were reshaped and perfected, becoming vessels capable of holding even greater power. The energy surrounding them crackled and surged as the evolution reached its peak.Beerus stood before the cocoons, his arms crossed, watching the process with satisfaction. The air grew heavy with anticipation as the cocoons glowed brighter, signaling that the transformation was nearing completion. They all evolved just like Zerna and Erva to Demon Lords. These primordial demons were no longer just powerful entities—they were now his chosen, his elite, his weapons to reshape the world.
Once the evolution of the primordial demons was complete, the black cocoons that encased them began to crack, emitting blinding rays of light. Slowly, the evolved demons emerged, their auras exponentially more powerful and their appearances transformed to reflect their elevated status. Each of them knelt before Beerus, radiating both reverence and anticipation.
Beerus, satisfied with the results, smirked and addressed them. "You are now stronger than ever before, and as my chosen subordinates, your roles in my plans will reflect your newfound power. Now, let us return to Celesterra. Your place in this world has been prepared."With a simple wave of his hand, Beerus summoned Athena, who instantly activated her teleportation abilities. In a flash of divine energy, Beerus, Velzar, Zerna, Erza, Alfa, Delta, Beta, and Sigma were transported to Celesterra.
The group appeared at the heart of Celesterra, atop a grand platform overlooking the vast and awe-inspiring city below. The celestial landscape was illuminated by a golden sun, and the modernized infrastructure stood as a testament to Beerus's vision. Citizens of various races paused their activities, looking up in awe as the newly evolved primordial demons stood alongside their master.Beerus turned to face his subordinates, his voice carrying an air of authority. "Each of you will hold a position of prominence in Celesterra. You are now my generals, the pillars upon which the strength of this nation is built. Your power will ensure the protection and prosperity of this land. Your loyalty will cement your legacy."
He then began assigning their roles:
Alfa (Noir) was named the Supreme General of the Celestial Forces, tasked with overseeing all military operations and leading the army into battle when necessary.
Beta (Jaune) was appointed Head Strategist and Tactician, responsible for planning military campaigns and advising Beerus on critical decisions.
Delta(Blanc) was made Chief Diplomat, ensuring that relations between Celesterra and other nations were carefully managed, while also managing internal affairs between the different races.
Sigma (Violet) became the High Commander of Special Operations, leading elite teams for covert missions and ensuring that threats to Celesterra were eliminated before they could arise. The crowd below erupted into cheers, their voices echoing across Celesterra. The celebration of their new leaders was immediate and heartfelt. Beerus's subordinates knelt before him once more, vowing their eternal loyalty.
Beerus gazed over the city, his arms crossed and his expression a mix of pride and determination. "This is just the beginning," he said, his voice low but resolute. "The world will soon know the true power of Celesterra. Let them come, and let them try. None will stand against us."The primordial demons rose, their gazes alight with newfound purpose. With their positions solidified, the groundwork for Celesterra's dominance was now complete. The world would soon learn the name Beerus, and his nation would reshape the fate of the cardinal world.
