The day after we returned to the mansion, the three of us were walking through the town in the Duke’s Territory to greet the Adventurers’ Guild.

“Still, Dad and Mom were really surprised yesterday. I’ve never seen them make that face before.”

“Please stop it. It’s really embarrassing.”

What we’re talking about is last night’s dinner. When we all sat down to eat, Shuvina seemed to really enjoy the food, devouring it even more than usual.

Shuvina, being of a slender race, gave the impression that she wouldn’t eat much, and if we were to talk about race, Fiera seemed like she would eat more.

A moment ago, Shuvina had been pretty down, but once I and Fiera assured her it was no big deal, she happily smiled.

After that, we had lunch at a nearby shop and headed to the Adventurers’ Guild as planned.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been here.”

“Yeah. It feels nostalgic.”

Returning to the Adventurers’ Guild after two years, we took a moment to admire the building before opening the door and stepping inside.

Inside, adventurers from the bar area were looking our way, and just imagining what would happen next made me feel tired already.

“Sigh, it’s always the same old routine, and it’s getting boring.”

As I considered what to do about the men approaching us, one guy suddenly stepped in front of us.

“Hey! Long time no see!”

The person addressing us was Randall, the A-rank adventurer who had helped us when we first came to the guild. He was also the examiner when Fiera ranked up to A-rank.

“I haven’t seen you at all, and I was worried about you!”

“I was off on a journey. Didn’t Sheila tell you?”

“Oh, I was worried but didn’t think you’d die or anything, so I didn’t dig for details.”

“I see.”

“Fiera seems to be doing well too.”

“Yeah. You look well too, Randall. Plus, you’ve gotten stronger.”

As Fiera mentioned, Randall’s presence was more imposing than before, and his demeanor was far more refined than I remembered.

“Can you tell? I finally made it to S-rank! Well, compared to you guys, I still have a way to go. But you all seem to have gotten stronger too.”

“Thanks. I’ll head over now.”

After Randall talked to us, the men who had been approaching us seemed to think twice and awkwardly returned to their drinks.

Then, we made our way to the empty reception area and called out to the receptionist who was working there.

“Excuse me. Is Sheila here?”

“Sheila, you say? I’m sorry, but could you please show me your card first?”

“Got it.”

I pulled out my guild card from my pocket and handed it to the receptionist.

“Eir… Eir? As in that Eir?!”

“I don’t know which Eir you mean, but I’m Eir.”

“Pl-Please wait a moment! I will call Sheila right away!”

The receptionist said that and hurriedly went to the back, then returned shortly after with Sheila.

“Eir! Welcome back!”

“Sheila. It’s been a while.”

Sheila came rushing over, tidied herself up, and smiled.

“When did you get back?”

“Yesterday. I came to greet you and Void today.”

“Oh, really? Thank you so much for making the effort! Fiera, it’s been a while too!”

“Yeah. Long time no see, Sheila.”

“Hehe. It feels nostalgic. By the way, is that girl over there your new companion?”

Sheila said, glancing over at Shuvina, who had been quietly listening to our conversation.

“Yeah, kind of. I picked her up on my journey.”

“Picked up? I don’t quite get it, but if she’s become a part of your party, that means I’ll be handling her from now on. I’m Sheila, the receptionist assigned to you guys!”

“I’m Shuvina. Nice to meet you!”

After a light exchange of greetings, we moved to a nearby table and sat down to talk.

“So, since you’re back, does that mean you’ll be heading to the Imperial Capital next? Should I prepare for that?”

“Yeah. However, after we head to the capital, we plan to attend Suzette Imperial Academy. So, we might not be able to do much adventuring.”

“That’s fine! Besides, I feel like you’ll still be active as an adventurer once you reach S-class.”

“Haha. Yeah. That’s the plan for now.”

At Suzette Imperial Academy, the curriculum varies by class, and if you make it to S-class, you only have to attend the minimum required classes. Therefore, my plan was to enter S-class, then take classes at my leisure while leveling up my adventurer rank in the capital.

“Then I’ll prepare as well.”

“Got it. How about we go together to the capital?”

“Is that okay?”

“It’s no problem. After all, you’ll be helping us out.”

“Then, I’ll take you up on that.”

After finishing our conversation, we asked Sheila to help us arrange a meeting with Void, then moved to the room where he was.

As we entered the guild master’s room, we were welcomed by Void, who had just finished some paperwork. We sat across from each other on the sofa.

“It’s really been a while, about two years. You’ve definitely improved a lot.”

“Hahaha. That’s great to hear. Fiera, too, it’s been a while. You’ve gotten much stronger.”

“Thank you.”

“The growth of young people is swift. I’m also curious about that girl next to you. If you don’t mind, could you share some stories of your journey with me?”

“Sure. I can do that.”

Nodding to Void, I recounted tales of fighting the Forest King in Ardonia, conquering the Underwater Dwelling in Minerva, and finally, battling the Hydra.

“Wow. Incredible! You even defeated a Hydra?”

“It was a lot of fun.”

“Some things never change. So, this is the elf you picked up during your travels, Shuvina?”

“Yes, nice to meet you.”

“Nice to meet you. But you’re well trained. You have a lot of magic power, and it seems like you’ve grasped fighting spirit too. Did Eir-kun help you with that?”

“I only lent a little help. The real growth came from her own efforts.”

“Haha! Is that so? Good for you, Shuvina.”

“Yes!”

It seems Shuvina was delighted to have been praised by me and happily nodded when Void smiled at her.

It seems we had become quite famous over these two years, which explained the receptionist’s reaction.

“I’m glad to hear that. So, could you share some more stories about your combat experiences? I’m very curious about what kind of enemies you fought and how you fought them.”

“Sure. However, I can’t reveal all my secrets, is that alright?”

“That’s fine. In fact, if you were bluntly honest about everything, I might have lost my respect for you.”

“Thank you.”

After that, I explained my battles while keeping my original magic and spatial-time abilities hidden.

Once I finished summarizing the tales, we bid farewell to Sheila and headed back to the mansion.
