The Villainous Noble Who Kept Rewinding After Death: The Story Somehow Changed When I Committed Suicide

Character Introductions ⑤

Suzette Imperial Academy Class B

Yurine

A student in Class B of Suzette Imperial Academy and one of the girls who teamed up with Shudo during dungeon practice.

With her red hair styled in twin tails, she excels in reconnaissance, wielding a bow and short daggers.

Cheerful and lively, she is the mood maker of both her group and class, a bit clumsy and spontaneous, but her personality earns her many friends among both boys and girls.

Ona

Another student in Class B of Suzette Imperial Academy, also part of Shudo’s team during dungeon practice.

She has black hair tied back in a single ponytail and specializes in using a spear.

Despite her distinctive way of speaking, her serious nature constantly struggles with Yurine’s free-spirited lifestyle.

However, she is actually directionally challenged, so even if Yurine tells her to go right, she’ll confidently head left instead.

Anabelle

Yet another student in Class B of Suzette Imperial Academy and part of Shudo’s dungeon practice team.

With pale white hair that flows down to her shoulders and wielding a large staff, she is a magician.

Compared to Yurine, she has a quieter demeanor, yet she is the only one capable of stopping the frequent conflicts between Yurine and Ona. According to the two of them, a furious Anabelle is scarier than any monster.

Jyn

An A-rank adventurer who led Shudo’s team during dungeon practice.

He uses a standard one-handed sword and shield setup, and despite being A-rank, he has a solid personality without boasting about his abilities.

Titan

Another A-rank adventurer who guided Shudo’s team during dungeon practice.

He boasts a two-handed sword, making him a powerhouse, and his personality matches his weapon—bold and brash.

However, he’s also the type to think things through before acting, making him reliable in many aspects, leading many adventurers in the imperial guild to look up to him as an older brother.

Lucifer

An angel who appeared during dungeon practice while guarding a holy sword in the labyrinth world.

Despite being an angel, he has a slightly arrogant attitude and looks down on humans like Lewis, but his strength rivaled that of an SS-rank character, to the extent that Lewis had to sacrifice his own body just to defeat him.

As they fought, his demeanor softened towards Lewis, and in the end, he recognized Lewis’s prowess with a smile before vanishing.

Demon Nation Imperial

Burnzeele

The consciousness of gluttony that resides within Lewis, taking on no specific form; when encountered in the spiritual realm, he borrowed Lewis’s appearance, manifesting as a black-haired figure with red eyes.

His ability is “Devouring Void,” which allows him to absorb all energy, including magic, stamina, willpower, and moreover, abstract concepts like memory, self-awareness, emotion, consciousness, and even souls.

In the spiritual realm, he offered various advice to Lewis, but it was actually he himself who took over Lewis’s body during the third world, and he was the one who fought against the hero at that time.

Soware

A beastwoman of the black fox race, she strangely belongs to the demon race instead of the beast kingdom. A seductive beauty with glossy black hair and three fluffy tails, she is the owner of the sin of greed.

Her ability, “Tuner of Fortune and Misfortune,” allows her to make herself lucky or her target unlucky in exchange for money or items, with the luck able to avoid lethal situations depending on the price, while her misfortune can trigger natural disasters—a truly formidable ability.

She rules the second district, Aphisgaits, of the seven demon state districts. Due to her abilities, she enjoys collecting money and rare items, but the despair of her powers when used on precious items is said to be immense, hence she rarely chooses to use her powers.

Additionally, her tendency to act based on profit leads her to belong to the conquest faction led by the arrogant, simply because the gains from war seem greater to her.

Etoile

A member of the species known as the Queen of Dreaming, she has bold pink hair and wears a daring outfit that covers only the bare essentials. Moreover, she has a unique quirk of changing the sentence endings according to her mood, also sharing the sin of lust with Lewis.

Her power, “Toy Box of Dreams,” allows her to manipulate those conscious of her, rendering them puppets. Once manipulated, they cannot escape that mire, and the more dependent they become, the more obedient they will be.

She governs the fifth district, Ragrest, despite being a Queen of Dreaming; she remains quite innocent regarding sexual knowledge and maintains a somewhat childish disposition.

However, her apparent naivety is an act so she can entertain herself with the sight of others being swayed and emotionally affected by her showing the desired appearance.

Belonging to the fallen faction alongside Horn, she has no interest in the resurrection of the demon king or conquest—she finds such matters bothersome.

Tiny

As a dark elf, she possesses brown skin and silver hair, appearing as a cool, intelligent beauty and holding the power of jealousy.

Her ability, “Pursuer of Love,” allows her to steal the abilities of those she envies, disabling them for a set time, with the quality of the stolen abilities proportionate to the intensity of her jealousy. Hence, the more she envies, the greater the replication quality, and conversely, the longer the target cannot use their stolen abilities.

She rules the third district, Anvinight, and spends her days monitoring Bagira—waking up to spy on him, eating lunch while watching him, and whispering love to him before sleeping.

Dark elves boast higher physical abilities than ordinary elves and possess excellent vision, making this state of affairs quite an expense for her skills.

Additionally, her relationship with Bagira is that of former lovers; they are currently separated but she believes in not realizing the importance of something until it’s lost, letting Bagira thrum with thoughts of her until he realizes he might actually have feelings for her.

Belonging to the same demon king faction as Bagira, her initial allegiance stemmed from the legacy of dark elves being traditionally part of the faction, yet now she finds happiness simply being in the same faction as Bagira, valuing her time spent with him over any outdated desires for the demon king or previous loyalties.

Horn

A fallen angel, he has gray hair and black angel wings, resembling just a mere child in appearance, but he holds the power of sloth.

His ability, “Endless Decay,” allows him to infinitely diminish all stat values of his opponent. The stronger the underlying emotions of motivation and will to fight, the slower they move and the weaker their magic becomes. Once a target falls under this power, they are perpetually consumed by it, and even if they lose motivation, their body continues to deteriorate until even their organs cease function, leading to death—an epitome of decay.

He oversees the seventh district, Ocpalesty, but essentially does nothing, letting subordinates and residents manage the district freely.

Interestingly, he holds a rare perspective for a demon—he values life and will mourn if someone dies in his district, even enduring fatigue to participate in funerals.

He belongs to the same fallen faction as Etoile simply because he finds faction disputes troublesome, preferring to sleep instead.

Owner of the Power of Pride

Unknown race, appearance unknown, gender unknown; this entity possesses the wrath among the seven sins.

Their power, “Supreme Ruler,” allows them to manifest their innermost thoughts into reality, growing stronger the more arrogant the possessor is. For example, believing that they are the only one who can move in that space will indeed make those around them unable to move.

However, the effect’s range is limited to an 80m radius from themselves, and overlapping abilities aren’t possible.

According to Bagira, the owner of pride has never shown themselves, meaning no one has ever seen their appearance.

They govern the first district, Vaifar, where order, law, and rules do not exist, only killing each other daily.

Belonging to the conquest faction like Soware, rather than reviving the demon king, they aim to become the new demon king and seize the world for the demons.

Ten

A subordinate of the wrath who possesses the power of the seven sins.

Acting as a representative, they participated in gatherings of power holders but are actually the fourth child, taking turns with their siblings during assembly times.

They speak in a rural accent and wear a deep hood, lacking any noteworthy traits, and according to Lewis’s perception, they don’t seem particularly strong.

Ray & May

Twin demon girls who served Lewis when he arrived in the demon state, having been charged by Wilhelm with his daily care.

However, the demon race had a gruesome history of being chased to near extinction on another continent by humans, leading them to conspire with other demons in the fourth district to kill Lewis out of revenge—unfortunately, they were promptly defeated.

Witnessing the brutal death of their kin and Lewis’s fight against Bagira filled them with dread, leaving them unable to harbor any rebelliousness and instead becoming Lewis’s loyal subordinates.

Currently, they collaborate with their fellow kin, Fon, who is also under Lewis’s command, managing the sixth district as assigned by Lewis.

By the way, the one with black hair is Ray, and the one with white hair is May.

Fon

A young man of the demon race, he shares the same kin as Ray & May.

Unlike the twins, who acted with scheming intent, Fon was emotional and impulsive, openly displaying disdain for Lewis.

As a result, he was unaware of the twins’ plans to kill Lewis and learned of the plot for the first time on the day of the incident, struggling to grasp the situation until the very end.

Later, he was pummeled by Bagira, but his stubborn fighting spirit turned his anger towards Lewis, making him a trivial sacrifice for Lewis’s attempt to test the power of gluttony.

Afterward, he became no more than a soulless puppet, now reliably managing the sixth district as Lewis’s loyal subordinate.

Raven

The leader of the birdman race and acting representative of Igrul, residing in the sixth district along with three other races.

As the name suggests, he resembles a crow, sporting black wings on his back, sharp claws, and feathers covering his arms and shoulders.

Also, true to his crow-like nature, he has a penchant for shiny objects; when Lewis showed him jewels, he wavered from his initially defiant demeanor.

Roulou

The leader of the three-eyed race, one of the four races residing in the sixth district.

True to the nature of his race, he bears a third eye on his forehead.

Rumor has it that this third eye can project sights into the future, past, and even other dimensions, leading human hunters to target his kind nearly to extinction. However, he barely escaped and made it to their current refuge.

He actually has a family and, should Lewis offer a present that could be given to them, he would be willing to trade with the human Lewis due to his strong dedication to his family.

Fuwawa

Leader of the ghost race and one of the four races residing in the sixth district.

Her race is rare, skilled in the manipulation of souls; their magical expertise in soul magic allows them to perceive the form of souls directly or transfer others’ souls into different bodies.

She has claimed that Lewis’s soul feels distorted and lacking something essential.

Like any girl, she enjoys sweet treats and sometimes goes out to buy them in Soware’s second district, but after trying some human-made sweet goods brought by Lewis, she has grown unable to settle for mere demon-made snacks.

Igrul

Leader of the birdman race.

Initially displeased at the thought of the human Lewis serving as the representative for the sixth district, his opinion turned around when Raven brought delicious meat dishes to the gathering, prompting him to offer his cooperation on the same day.

Ogre Race

One of the four races living in the sixth district.

When summoned for a meeting among the leaders, they refused due to their aversion to serving humans.

As such, their leader’s name, appearance, and even gender remain a mystery, but they likely resemble their namesake.

Wonder

A subordinate of Etoile residing in the fifth district.

Serving a role akin to a head maid, she is responsible for taking care of Etoile at all times.

She values Etoile more than her own life, and in fact, she presides over an organization called the “Etoile Fan Club,” where she holds membership No. 1.

Initially, she was on the verge of shedding blood tears when her beloved Etoile brought Lewis along, but after Lewis’s advice, her perspective lightened up a little.

However, she was unable to forgive the moment when Etoile hugged Lewis while saying goodbye, prompting her to begin reading tactical manuals to ensure her members can respond promptly and accurately in case anything untoward occurs.

Dreamer

Another subordinate of Etoile residing in the fifth district.

She carries out cleaning in Etoile’s room and house akin to a maid.

Like Wonder, she deeply cares for Etoile, and she fiercely won the title of member No. 2 in the Etoile Fan Club.

At first, she expressed her resentment towards the presence of Lewis by contemplating on smashing him with the broom she held, but eventually, she too was swayed by Lewis’s reasoning and slightly adjusted her views.

Nevertheless, she still cannot forgive the incident when Etoile hugged Lewis while saying goodbye, making her work diligently to hone her skills to be able to stab him with the broom should the occasion arise.

Tyrum

One of Etoile’s subordinates residing in the fifth district.

She takes on a maid-like role and is so skilled with her hands that she has also taken on building repairs, renovations, and even constructions.

Like Wonder, she holds great importance for Etoile, though she regrettably lost to Dreamer in terms of membership in the Etoile Fan Club, settling for member No. 3.

Initially, she disliked the situation of Etoile bringing Lewis along, contemplating violently driving a nail into Lewis’s forehead, but ultimately changed her attitude a little after Lewis had a word with her.

Despite this, unable to forgive the moment when Etoile hugged Lewis goodbye, she now practices diligently sharpening a nail so she can nail it into Lewis swiftly should the need arise.

Ravy

A subordinate of Etoile residing in the fifth district.

Taking on a maid-like role, she excels in cooking and typically prepares meals for Etoile and the others in the kitchen.

Unlike Wonder and the others, she secretly loves Etoile as a romantic interest but has no intention of confessing, maintaining a proper demeanor as a member of the Etoile Fan Club.

By the way, she holds membership No. 4 but happens to lose her chance to contest for membership No. in a rivalry when she locked eyes with Etoile, who was watching from the shadows during that dilemma.

Initially, she resented Etoile for bringing Lewis along, considering how to dice him up with the two meat cleavers she held, but in the end, she too slightly changed her thoughts after Lewis’s advice.

Even so, she cannot forgive the moment when Etoile hugged Lewis, committing herself to sharpening her knives daily as a precautionary measure.
