Three Treasures: Spoiled Wife Goes Wild

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Have I seen it somewhere?

"Ah!"

Sophie Allen couldn't help but scream in fear.

The familiar scent of a woman and the familiar screams brought Justin Battleson to a halt.

It felt as if he was back at the hotel in the mountains that night.

"Mr. Battleson, can you get up?" Sophie felt incredibly discomforted in this position.

She wanted to get up urgently, but the man was too heavy and pressing down on her, making it impossible for her to rise.

A soft voice echoed in his ear, and Justin snapped out of it, lifting his head to look at the woman beneath him.

Under the shine of the crystal light, the blush on her cheeks was obvious and her slightly parted lips looked incredibly lovely.

"You..." An inexplicable heat made his voice somewhat hoarse.

Why did he feel that the woman in front of him was so alike to the one from that night...

"Mr. Battleson, could you perhaps lift yourself with your hands?"

Sophhie was having trouble breathing, her embarrased expression making Justin daze for a moment.

"Have we met somewhere before?" Although it seemed impossible, the words slipped out of his mouth.

Sophie looked into the man's deep black eyes, and they reminded her of some unpleasant memories.

Fear suddenly surged in her heart.

The blush on her cheeks disappeared instantly, her mind went blank, forgetting even to breathe.

Could it be that Mr. Battleson in front of her was that man...

The two looked at each other, with only their breath left in the silent room.

"Buzz buzz buzz!"

Suddenly, the ringtone of a mobile phone broke the atmosphere.

Justin snapped out of it, struggled to lift himself, turned over, and collapsed on the side.

Finally freed, Sophie took a deep breath, her fright not completely vanished.

She turned her head stiffly, looking at the man lying next to her, her heart pounding as if it was about to leap out from her chest.

However, her guess just now was impossible.

That night she was in Cornelia, that man was agile, he couldn't possibly be the crippled man who had undergone surgery.

Moreover, the Clarkson family was in Emperor City.

The distance from Emperor City to Cornelia was vast.

"Bring the phone here." Suddenly, the man's cold voice rang out.

Sophie snapped out of it, nodded and quickly got out of the bed, running to the side table to grab the phone.

The incoming call showed only one word - "Rui".

Sophie did not think too much, and quickly passed the phone to Justin.

Justin immediately answered the call, and a woman's tender and charming voice sounded:

"Justin, where are you? I just woke up from a nightmare. It was about that night... I'm so scared..."

Evelyn Curtis was holding the phone, pretending to be frightened.

Play the part fully, otherwise, a clever man like Justin would definitely suspect something.

She couldn't believe her guess, that she had taken Sophie's place, was seen as a lifesaver by Justin and brought from Cornelia to Emperor City.

Moreover, he arranged a large villa for her, provided her with a black card, a driver, a nanny, and so on.

However, tonight, she heard from the maid in the villa that Justin was engaged, which made her a little anxious.

Although Justin had promised to take responsibility, if his fiance was better than her, her dream would be ruined!

"Are you in the villa? Don't be scared, I'm coming over now." Justin frowned, his face full of worries.

When he heard Evelyn Curtis mention that thing, if it wasn't for his rudeness, she wouldn't have been tormented by nightmares.

Thinking of this, Justin felt guilty, immediately called Jones George: "Come to Stardust Garden to get me."

Listening to him, Sophie could probably guess what happened, also guessing that Justin was going to see his lover.

"I have to go out, if my grandmother asks in the morning, say that we are getting along okay, but we need time to cultivate our feelings." Justin ordered indifferently.

Sophie nodded and replied, "Understood."

Jones George quickly arrived and took Justin away, Sophie sighed in relief.

She picked up the quilt from the floor and moved to the bed.

Thinking of Aunt Watson's situation, Sophie tossed and turned.

...

Litchlodge.

This was one of Justin's villas, and was where his mother, Mila White, used to live.

When he learned of Evelyn Curtis' name, Justin once thought that it was his mother's spirit in heaven who brought Evelyn to his side.

Both of their names contained "Rui", perhaps Evelyn was the daughter-in-law his mother approved of.

Jones George pushed Justin in, Evelyn heard the movement, draped in a thin sleep gown, she came downstairs to greet him.

"Justin, you are finally here, I was really scared..." Evelyn leaped into Justin's arms, with a pitiful and shy appearance.

A strong chemical perfume smell blew over, Justin frowned heavily, feeling slightly nauseous.

"What is this smell?" he asked coldly.
