Chapter 230: Miraculous Tree Species and Anti-aging Pills
____
Aoki pressed his palm down.
A massive rock rose into the air, fragments crumbling and falling to the ground. In the blink of an eye, it was shaped into a stone tablet. With a resounding "bang," it was embedded firmly into the ground in front of the grave. Seven large characters were engraved on its surface:
Tomb of the Golden Lion Shiki.
"You've contributed so much—let this be your reward," Aoki said with a faint smile before turning away.
Although the Golden Lion was far from a good person, his calm acceptance of death in the end earned a measure of respect.

In the Other Dimension
Robin sat patiently on the couch, her expression calm.
The opponent was indeed a formidable pirate, one who had once been as famous as Roger himself. But Robin wasn't overly worried.
Aoki might not win easily, but his life would not be in danger.
Suddenly, the space around her shifted. Her vision blurred, and she found herself back in the real world.
A familiar figure appeared before her, and Robin froze momentarily before a look of surprise lit up her face.
"So soon?" she asked in astonishment.
Aoki smiled as he gazed ahead.
Robin tilted her head, confused.
The sound of waves crashing onto the shore filled the air. The seawater splashed against the beach, where a small, simple boat rested.
Aoki gestured toward the boat. "It's a bit shabby, but maybe we can get a better one in the next town."
Robin shook her head lightly. "I think it's cute."
Aoki turned to look at her, slightly amused.
"Cute?"
He couldn't help but find her strange aesthetic amusing. Even as its creator, Aoki knew the boat wasn't remotely attractive. It was a crude, pieced-together vessel at best.
Robin, however, seemed sincere.
"Are we going to sail by ship from now on? If so, we'll probably need a navigator," Robin added thoughtfully.
Previously, the two had relied on flight, and when a storm struck, they simply took refuge in another dimension.
Sailing on the sea, however, would be far more challenging.
Navigating ocean currents, dealing with storms, and addressing unforeseen dangers would make their journey significantly more complex.
Robin knew a little about navigation but wasn't a professional. Aoki, on the other hand, knew nothing about it. Sailing wasn't something one could do alone, especially not in the treacherous New World.
Even in calmer seas, solo navigation was incredibly difficult.
"A navigator, huh?" Aoki mused aloud.
The first person who came to his mind was Nami, but he quickly dismissed the thought. At this point in time, Nami was only four years old—far too young to be considered.
"If we find someone suitable, we'll recruit them. If not, we'll manage," Aoki said.
Robin was about to reply when her attention shifted to the small boat in front of her.
The vessel began to lift off the ground, hovering in the air.
"Huh? It's flying? What's going on?" she exclaimed.
Aoki grinned. "While we'll be using a boat, we're still relying on flight."
"Isn't this the Golden Lion Shiki's ability?" Robin asked, clearly astonished. The sight of the flying ship brought back vivid memories of Shiki's legendary feats.
"It's mine now," Aoki said casually, offering no further explanation.
Robin's expression turned curious but restrained. She didn't press him further.
After all, she had never heard of anyone stealing Devil Fruit powers. Then again, Aoki already possessed a plethora of abilities, so gaining one more wasn't surprising.
What mattered more to her was something else entirely.
"Aoki, where's Shiki the Golden Lion?"
"Dead," Aoki replied succinctly.
Robin's brows furrowed in confusion. "Wasn't he a great pirate on par with Roger? How did he lose so quickly?"
"That was in the past," Aoki explained. "The Golden Lion suffered a significant blow to his spirit. As a swordsman, he also lost both hands. His strength was reduced to barely a tenth of what it once was."
"I see," Robin said with a nod.
Even so, she couldn't help but think: A lean camel is still bigger than a horse.
Despite his decline, the Golden Lion was still a formidable opponent. Only someone of Aoki's strength could have defeated him so decisively.
After a moment of hesitation, Robin asked, "Aoki, can you teach me how to fight?
Aoki is strong But.
Aoki couldn't possibly take down all the enemies by himself.
Robin didn't want to be like today anymore.
Regardless of whether she could provide much assistance, at the very least, she didn't want to be a burden anymore.
"Sure!"
Aoki nodded without hesitation. "You're also a user of Devil Fruit. Once you develop the Flower-Flower Fruit, you'll be quite powerful."
Robin's use of the fruit's abilities was already impressive.
In the original timeline, she had even defeated Black Maria, one of the Flying Six of the Beasts Pirates.
Robin's weaknesses lay in her poor physique and lack of proficiency with Haki.
But.
In his opinion, Robin was a technical talent, and whether she developed strong combat abilities was not of the utmost importance.
---
Not long after, Aoki and Robin departed by boat.
On Deck
Robin brought out a table and chairs, poured herself a cup of coffee, and picked up a book.
Nearby, Aoki reclined on a deck chair, his arms resting behind his head, his eyes half-open as he gazed at the horizon. Though he appeared relaxed, his mind was deeply immersed in the system.
There were still two rewards he hadn't checked: the three-star treasure chest and the miraculous tree seed.
Aoki first examined the strange tree seed.
The seed, about the size of a fist, resembled a large walnut.
The description read: "Once fully grown, it can produce miraculous fruits."
What exactly these miraculous fruits entailed, however, was not specified in the description.
"Hopefully, it's something I can eat," Aoki mused as he played with the seed for a moment before storing it in his dimensional space.
The tree would have to be planted in the other dimension, as it was far too large for a simple flowerpot. However, there wasn't yet a designated planting area within the space.
According to the description, the miraculous tree would grow to be quite large. Once they reached the next town, Aoki planned to buy the necessary materials to create a proper planting area.
The final reward was the three-star treasure chest.
Aoki knew the chances of obtaining something as rare as the Float-Float Fruit again were slim, but the chest itself was still worth the anticipation.
He opened the chest.
[Open Revenge Treasure Chest (Three Stars) to obtain: Rejuvenating Pill (Hundred Years).]
"Oh?"
When Aoki saw the name, his expression changed slightly.
Rejuvenating Pill? Could it be what he was thinking?
A porcelain bottle appeared in Aoki's hand. He opened the lid and found red pills the size of longans inside.
Unlike the Qi and Blood Pills he had acquired before, the Rejuvenating Pills were as crystal clear as gemstones, radiating an extraordinary aura.
The description read: "The Hundred-Year Rejuvenating Pill allows the user to maintain their current appearance indefinitely, with effects lasting for more than 100 years. While it doesn't extend a person's natural lifespan, it conditions the body, enhances immunity, and reduces the likelihood of illness, effectively prolonging life."
The small porcelain bottle contained a total of ten pills.
"What a treasure!"
Aoki carefully stored the bottle away.
While he couldn't use the pills himself at the moment, he knew they would be incredibly valuable, whether as gifts or for sale.
Of course.
Selling them would present a challenge: how to prove their efficacy.
The Rejuvenating Pill couldn't restore youth; it merely preserved a person's current state.
The effects wouldn't be visible in just a few days—or even a few years.
It was impractical to expect potential buyers to wait for a decade or more just to confirm the results of a pill.
For now, Aoki decided to keep the pills, certain that they would serve an important purpose in the future.
