Toward the Museum

"Time hides all its secrets in history, sometimes we reveal those secrets and sometimes those secrets remain buried in the rotten pages of history. That is why we call history the mother of all subjects."

Professor Arne's voice was echoing throughout the hall as Lisa struggled to get there, her eyes welling up with tears. Opening the door to the white hall, she slowly peered in when Professor Arne's gaze fell on Lisa. Speaking quickly, he stopped and looked in Lisa's direction

"I'm Lisa Mark" she mumbled as the professor and the entire class got their attention at once

"Oh Lisa Mark welcome" Professor Arn said cheerfully and motioned for her to sit down

There was a small stage in front of the class where there was a big writing on the white board

"History is the mother of all subjects"

Professor Arne continued the series.

"So I was saying that the knowledge of all subjects exists in common history."

Lisa walked and reached the third row. The seat was empty with the girl wearing a white shirt. Lisa put her mobile there and sat down with a cold breath.

she wrote her name on the notepad and wrote down the sentence written on the whiteboard.

New environment, new people

Lisa did not understand what to do, she was afraid to go out. She don't know what the seniors will do now.

Gradually, everyone left the classroom and went outside.

"Don't you want to go out Lisa?" The girl sitting in the final row asked as she passed Lisa

"No thanks I'm right here" Lisa said.

"I'll be happy if you give me company I mean us" the girl was offering him with a smile

"I mean we are four friends. We were together in college and now in university too! You will be very happy to meet them" the girl's tone was love.

Lisa could not refuse her insistence and stood up rolling the notepad

"Oh girl" slowly put her hand on head. "I haven't told you my name, what have I told you?" the girl asked Lisa with a laugh

Lisa shook her head

"My name is Katherine, don't ever mistake me for kathy of Mr. Chips" Katherine said with a laugh and took Lisa's hand and walked out of the class.

Due to the grey clouds, it felt like night sky even during the day. Students were walking from here to there in their tune.

"Hi, My Kathy" came a boy's voice from a short distance away and Lisa looked towards the voice, there were two boys and a girl standing in her direction.

Katherine grabbed his arm

"Come, let me introduce you to my friends," she took him by the arm and walked quickly to them

"Hey....why are you holding my Kathy’s hand" asked Lisa the boy who had called them.

Lisa quickly removed her hand

Everyone started laughing. They liked Lisa's innocence

"Guys, this is our new friend, her name is Lisa Mark," Katherine said excitedly, and everyone laughed and the four of them turned towards each other, and in a moment, the four of them held each other's hands and turned back a little and quickly. Bowing before Lisa, they all straightened up.

"Welcome to the friendly group"

Everyone spoke with enthusiasm and love and Lisa's heart fluttered with joy. She felt as if the angels of friendship clapped their hands at this scene of love and peace. The fairies also danced slowly. At this beautiful expression of love. She was very happy.

"I am very good at heart. I have no one in my family or you can say I have never seen a home. My eyes opened in an orphanage. I stayed there but I am very happy with my life."

Katherine smiled and pointed in the direction of the boy sitting in front of her.

"And this is Max Avery"

"I'm Max and I'm Kathy's childhood friend"

Lisa's first day was special because of all their smiles.

Max pointed to the boy sitting next to Lisa who had a very calm face and deep eyes.
