But when In-su, in a haze of late-night boredom, stumbles upon a mysterious job posting titled The Scourge Unit, he figures, "Hey, it's just another corporate gig, right?" Boy, was he wrong.

Instead of spreadsheets and cubicles, In-su finds himself hurtling through time to the year 2099, straight into a world overrun by terrifying monsters. Suddenly, he's not just an accountant anymore. He's an accidental recruit in a top-secret, elite force tasked with saving humanity from grotesque, nightmarish creatures known as Wraiths. Oh, and did I mention? He has zero combat experience.

Armed with nothing but an overwhelming sense of dread and his knack for turning every situation into an awkward disaster, In-su must learn to survive in this terrifying new world. Will he rise to the occasion? Or will he become monster food before he even gets the chance to figure out what's going on?
