Chapter 23: The Legend Of The Fastest Death In Battle

That night, when the three returned home, Felicia took the initiative to sit on the sofa and watch TV, while Gwen dragged Norton into her room.

"Gwen, this is for you," Norton said, taking out a watch given by the system. It was for the 19th anniversary of crossing. It contained Gwen's spider nano battle suit, which had the same functionality as Felicia's.

Afterwards, Norton explained the many uses of the battle suit to Gwen, who was very happy after hearing it and rewarded Norton with a kiss.

"I remember, Felicia also has such a battle suit," Gwen said, holding Norton in her arms and smiling. "Why did she get hers first?"

"Uh..." Norton hit a mental roadblock, attempting to figure out a reason to convince Gwen.

"Hmph," Gwen pouted and snorted dissatisfiedly, then pushed Norton down onto the bed and straddled him.

"You are mine tonight," she declared, grabbing Norton's collar and kissing him directly.

What else could Norton do? He was certainly risking his life to accompany a lady!

"Times Square in Manhattan is under attack, call for help! Call for help!" Suddenly, a hurried voice came from the walkie-talkie at their side, waking Gwen and Norton, who were sleeping together.

"Wow," Gwen yawned, squinting her eyes with no intention of getting up, and patted Norton's chest. "You go, I still want to sleep."

As the culprit, Norton naturally didn't dare not listen. He put on a battle suit and headed to the garage. There were two bikes in the garage: the Kabuto Extender that he drove a while ago, and the Mobile Pegasus given by the system after Kamen Rider Faiz was unlocked. Norton rode on the Mobile Pegasus and headed towards Times Square.

"The other party is a Mutant capable of generating electricity, all units be careful!" The voice of the New York police came through Norton's earphones again, and he frowned after hearing this. Based on this description, it was highly probable that the villain was Spider-man's adversary, the King of Electricity, Max Dillon.

After contemplating, Norton tapped the earphones next to his ear to contact Peter. "Peter, where are you now?"

"Zzzi... Uh, I'm a little busy right now, can you help me?" Peter's hurried voice, accompanied by electric shocks, came from the earphones.

"Okay, I'll be right there."

At Times Square, some unfortunate people had been knocked down by the King of Electricity. A few were even burnt black, showing no signs of movement. The surrounding electronic equipment had stopped working, plunging the area into darkness. Peter was frantically moving amidst the shocks, trying to persuade Max to stop. "Max! Stop! This is not the real you!"

"You're with them, I won't trust you anymore!" Electro, wrapped in blue lightning, gave Peter a ruthless look and gathered the lightning in his hands, shooting it towards Peter.

"Ah!" Peter was hit, covered in black smoke, and crashed into a car.

At that moment, Norton arrived.

"Sorry Spider-man, I'm late." Norton got out of the car and took out the Faiz phone to transform.

"Standby!"

"Henshin!"

"Complete!"

Under Max's surprised gaze, a figure with red light appeared in front of him, illuminating the surroundings in the darkness with the light of photon's blood.

"Ah... If you came later, I would probably be lying on the ground, unable to get up," Peter shook his dizzy head and complained.

"Next time," Norton said. He then glanced at the fire hydrant not far away. He knew that, although the King of Electricity had powerful abilities, he had a fatal weakness—he was not constantly charged with electricity and was afraid of water.

"Spider-Man, I have a task for you," Norton whispered in Peter's ear. Peter nodded immediately upon hearing it.

"Ah, this power is intoxicating," Electric King declared as he absorbed more electricity, leaving nothing around for him to use.

"Dragon impact!" Electric King heard a loud roar and saw Norton charging at him like a meteor.

"Ah!" Electric King couldn't dodge in time and was knocked into the Times Square screen behind him. He slowly walked out, twisting his neck.

"I won't go back. Now, I am enjoying their gaze! Look at their eyes; they fear my eyes," he proclaimed, pointing at the onlookers blocked by the police. Smiling wildly, he added, "If I defeat the famous Spider Squad, guess who will be the headline tomorrow."

Electric King had developed an obsession with fame. "Come on, Black Spider!" he shouted disdainfully at Norton.

"It's so annoying to hear that noise all the time," Norton thought as he charged at Electric King. Electric King, wrapped in electricity, raced towards Norton as well.

"Boom!" They collided at an alarming speed, and Norton landed a punch on Electric King's face. "Ah!!" Electric King cried out in pain. Even with Norton not using all his strength, it was enough to make him dizzy.

"Die!!" Electric King unleashed the electricity within, intending to stun or electrocute Norton. To his surprise, Norton remained fine.

"How can it be!?" Electric King wondered. Norton's mechanical armor, even without full power, was enough to withstand the electricity. For Norton, it felt like a mild massage.

"Nothing is impossible," Norton stated, kicking Electric King and sending him flying.

Electric King crashed into several cars and stood up in pain, trembling. "I have to escape from here..." he thought. As he prepared to fly away using his remaining power, the sound of rushing water filled his ears. He turned to see a water jet knock him to the ground, his attempts to resist futile.

Dian Wang heard a special sound effect and looked up to find a crimson electric drill. "Ahhh!!" The drill hit Dian Wang, sending him crashing into a wall and leaving a large hole.

After landing, Norton looked at Dian Wang. The system's power ensured that, even if this wasn't the faiz world, anyone killed by his faiz skills would be turned to dust. This was the first time he had killed someone, although Electric King was no longer considered human.

Inside the wall, Electric King felt an unusual change as he lay unconscious, watching his hands disintegrate. "I..." Before finishing his sentence, he dissolved into dust, dissipating into the air. No one knew he was dead; they only speculated he had escaped.
