Anvilus Nine was a Forge World of the Imperium.

This planet is most known for being entirely devoted to the production of Land Raiders during the Great Crusade, and was set to this purpose due to the huge demand of the vehicles among Imperial forces. It created the first Land Raider, the Land Raider Proteus.

In time of Horus Heresy planet was captured by the Dark Mechanicus' renegade Tech-Priests and the supply of Land Raiders to Imperium forces was stopped. It is unknown whether Anvilus Nine was recaptured by the Imperium's armies or not.

The Forge World was renowned for its Autocannon patterns, most famously the Anvilus Snub Autocannon.

During the Great Scouring, Mars form a task force with the objective to reclaim Anvilus Nine, commanded by Archmagos Nine.

As Horus died and the triumph at the Siege of Terra, most traitor space marine elements have retreat from the forge world, leaving the Dark Mechanicum holding it.

Even with the absence of traitor marine, the battle for the world lasted for 50 years, with the Mechanicus fleet having dominated orbital and skies, enabling them to bombard the traitor.

When Anvilus Nine is reclaim by Archmagos Nine in 078.M31, a warp storm suddenly appear and cut off the world from the Imperium, and from the other planets in the same system. Anvilus Nine system, it's contain the forge world, and two dead worlds, Anvilus-Alpha and Anvilus-Beta, which are use as mining world and a fortresses world that serve in protecting the forge world.

Nine took over the forge world as fabricator general and try to repairs the damage done to the forge world. The production line for the land raiders have mostly restore, able to produce enough land raiders to supply multiple chapters during the times. Even successful to restore the production line for the Land Raider Proteus, while opening more production lines on other equipments, such as the space marine equipment, plasma weapon, tanks, and more. While also make preparation to build a downgrade version of Mars' Ring of Iron, and success in building it in 3721 years.

The warp storm only stop in 108.M31, contact made with the Anvilus-Alpha and Anvilus-Beta indicate that they have been overun by chaos cultists. While Anvilus Nine itself have multiple chaos cultist uprising and small traitor elements raiding and attacking it, the forge world manage to protect itself.

While preparing to reconquer the worlds, the scouting ships that have been send out to scout the overall situation of the system have detected additional 8 planets have enter the systems, and luckily didn't causes any damage, for now.

Each (size of earth) have been designated as:

Anvilus-Epsilon, hive world

Anvilus-Theta, dead (ice) world

Each of the planets are dead, without any live form and all construction have reduced to ruins, only identify after Nine have enough resources to scout the surfaces, with each have sign of human settlements.

Another two are:

Anvilus-Iota, gas giant (size of Jupiter)

Anvilus-Kappa, gas giant (size of Saturn)

Multiple moons from each of the giant show sign of human settlements.

No information about the planets from the database that Nine can access are found, while not knowing how long have there been in the warp, later inspection done by the inquisitors, that part of the plan show that the planets and the moons did not show any sign of warp corruption.

The reconquest of Anvilus-Alpha and Anvilus-Beta have been undergo for 5 years. While the reconstruction and recolonization of all the planets have been going for 2300 years with the help of the other members of the plan.

130.M31, Archmagos Nine been summoned by the Emperor and meets with the other 11 members. Just then, he been informed by the Inquisitor member that he and the task force have been list as a lose force, as they did not reply any messages, no survivor return to Imperium worlds, and can't be located. While they now know of Anvilus Nine situation, they all vote to let the system to stay in dark, with only them and the future chapter master of the chapter, trusted people to know about their existence.
