'How can I be this cruel?' Aaron thought as Anastasia was in front of him drinking her tea. 

"What's the occasion? And what's with this tea party?" She asked as Aaron cleared his throat and smiled at her.

"Your success deserves a compliment from the Falcon Wings. Aren't you happy that you are now officially part of the Reyes Family?" Aaron asked as Anastasia drop her tea.

"I am, Yet this was all for you so that I can stand next to you." Anastasia said saying her feelings clearly. "I know but let me ask you something Anastasia. Why did you break up with me when you love me the most more than yourself?" He asked as Anastasia looked at him.

It bought her back to the past where it's Christmas season, The season of hope and joy.

December, The month that Aaron planned to get married with Anastasia. The month that Anastasia wished she dies.

"I will make Anastasia happy." Aaron said to Zade as Anastasia was at the veranda listening to their conversation.

"I see, It's December already huh. Are you really sure about this Aaron?" Zade asked as Aaron nodded. "She's someone that I can lean on without any worries. She's someone perfect for me especially with her battle skills." He said as hearing such a things makes Anastasia sad.

"You see Aaron, Wendy didn't have that type of battle skills for me to be happy with her. You can make Anastasia happy but are you even happy?" Zade asked as Anastasia waited for Aaron's respond but the quiet atmosphere made her smiled sadly.

'Aaron isn't happy after all, It's not me that he wants it was Mary all this time.' she thought as Aaron smiled sadly and excuse himself.

"You heard it for yourself Anastasia." Zade said as Anastasia opened the veranda door and went inside.

"My twin is doing you a huge favor, But do you really have to go this far on tying him up knowing who he wanted right now the whole time?" He asked as Anastasia can't help but tear up in front of Zade.

"I worked so hard to stand next to him and to be a dependable person." She started as she kneel down in pain. "You are indeed a remarkable person Anastasia. You became a Vice Admiral at such a young age, Your skill alone is promising to be someone's partner but I cannot just let Aaron suffer from any of this again. He might deny it but the people around him knew all along that up until now it was still Mary." Zade said.

Anastasia nodded in respond since even her she knew that it was Mary that Aaron loved.

"It's up to you if you still want to push this marriage with Aaron but please be reminded that you might be married in papers but his heart and we'll being is not yours since it already belongs to someone else." Zade added.

"If I arrived earlier before Mary, Do you think Aaron would look at me the way he looked at her?" She asked desperately as Zade smiled sadly.

"Aaron had been fvcking all the girls he meet but when he met Mary he change and became faithful to her without him noticing it." Zade explained as he starts writing.

"There are things that Mary can do that you can't and the things that you can do that Mary can't after all both of you are two different person's." Zade said as Anastasia smiled sadly.

"While you trust Aaron and his skills, Mary was scared for his death and prayed for his safety. While you don't provoke Aaron and respects him and his decision, Mary pushed all his buttons that made us encounter to Aaron's new emotions. While you wait for Aaron's instructions, Mary leads Aaron without his consent and ended up doing things that he isn't used to. When you are capable to fight without depending on Aaron, Mary screams for help that make Aaron want to be stronger so that she can depend on him more." Zade explained as he looked at Anastasia.

"If you didn't leave the mansion to be stronger then maybe Aaron would atleast look at you since you were once the valuable and innocent Anastasia back then." Zade said.

"The person that I almost killed as Aaron step in and save." He added as it hit Anastasia.

"But in order to stand next to a Mafia a woman should be-"

"The woman should just stand tall and accept the man's job. It didn't talk about the woman being strong just like the man since the man is responsible for their partner's safety." Zade said as Anastasia laughed in agony thinking that what she's been doing all this time is wrong.

That what she's been doing this time is not the things that can keep Aaron by her side.

Wendy saw Aaron outside looking like he have a lot of things to think about. She sighed as Jayden called her phone and she happily answered it.

"Hey Jayden, How's LA?" Wendy asked as Jayden smiled. "Target will be going back home soon, After all she wants to meet Knight's kid." Jayden said. Wendy nodded with the update.

Target came along with Jayden to have a rest from all the Mafia businesses in LA and they are staying together with Jasmin.

"How's life there in the Reyes Mansion?" Jayden asked as he started cooking. "Hmmm Aaron is planning to get married this month yet he don't look so happy about it." she started as Jayden laugh on the other side of the phone.

"He's really denying the fact that he's so concerned about Mary. The last time we had a coffee he met Mary and acted like he doesn't care at all yet he's eyes shows how concern he was for her." Jayden said as Wendy smiled sadly.

"They really must have loved each other so much to the point that they are giving each other this type of freedom in order for the other to live life freely." Wendy said as Jayden smiled.

"Aaron will figure things out on his own, He's someone who knows what he wants yet he do things for the benefit of the empire." Jayden reassured as Wendy nodded when she saw Anastasia.

Anastasia starts walking towards Aaron as she sat next to him.

"Hey..." she started as Aaron smiled at her. "Hey..." he said as things right now is awkward for the both of them.

"Did you heard our conversation? You looked like you've been crying." Aaron started as Anastasia smiled.

"Yeah I did hear it." Anastasia said as Aaron smiled. "I'm sorry about that Anastasia, I will make you happy so don't worry about anything at all." Aaron said as Anastasia smiled.

"To be honest Aaron, Do you think things are okay this way?" she asked. "What do you mean by that?" Aaron asked.

"What about you and your happiness if all you can think about is for the Empire's sake?" Anastasia asked as Aaron stands up.

"Your scared of me betraying the Reyes Empire knowing my status as the Vice Admiral that's why your keeping me in you palm since I'm a threat if I'm not on the Reyes side right?" Anastasia asked as it is all true.

She's someone scary to start a war with.

"Please Anastasia I really am sorry..."

"Aaron, Even if you won't marry me I will still be in service with the Reyes. Let's break up and cancel this wedding." she said and walked away.

Just like that they're supposed to be future ended as Anastasia let him go and have a future that she isn't part of.

Back to the present where Aaron and Anastasia are having tea. Aaron cleared his throat and looked at Anastasia.

"I'm getting married now, I want you to properly know and hear this thing from me. You can find someone better, You deserve more than what you think you do. Please don't be sad about me." Aaron said as Anastasia laughed.

"Your really bad at rejecting people don't you?" Anastasia looked at Aaron yet his eyes are full of worries.

"Don't get too cocky Aaron, I was the one who rejected you in the first place." he said as Aaron smiled and nodded.

"If we did get married back then we would atleast have a ten year old children running around these garden." he said as Anastasia put her tea aside.

"Yet it isn't that happy since I'm not the one you want to be with." Anastasia said as Aaron smiled sadly.

"Can I ask you a question?" she started. "Yeah sure..." Aaron responded.

"If I didn't went to the Navy and become stronger, If I stayed at the mansion being protected by you would it have a chance that you will atleast consider me as someone you love?" Anastasia asked as she clenched her first.

"Yes, I would. After all that Anastasia back then is someone who I can protect and cherish. She's someone I want to stand beside me even if she's trembling in fear standing next to me." Aaron answered as tears fell down on Anastasia's eyes.
