When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 61: Allegiance

The next day, Rimuru arrived back at the Ogre village, greeted by the chief at the entrance. The two walked toward the central house together, with the chief maintaining a respectful yet casual demeanor.

Once seated, tea was promptly served, and the chief began the conversation. "So, how did it go?"

Rimuru leaned back in his seat and smirked slightly. "You might want to ask your guard about that," he said, glancing toward the quiet Ogre standing by the door—future Souei. "I know he was watching me the whole time to make sure I held up my end of the deal."

Souei's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he quickly composed himself. The room fell silent for a moment before the chief let out a low chuckle. "Oh? So you noticed him? Impressive, indeed. Not many can detect Souei when he doesn't wish to be seen."

Rimuru gave a light laugh. "I have my ways," he said casually, not wanting to reveal too much. "But let's not waste time. I took care of the problem, so now it's your turn to fulfill your end of the bargain."

The chief nodded solemnly and stood. He approached Rimuru, lowering himself to one knee, and the other Ogres in the room followed suit. "From this day forward, we swear allegiance to you, Rimuru-sama. We will serve you with unwavering loyalty until the very end."

Rimuru's smirk turned into a satisfied smile as he stepped forward. "Good," he said, placing a hand on the chief's shoulder. "Now, let's make this official."

He looked at the chief and said, "From today, your name will be Madox." The chief's body glowed faintly as he received his name, his aura intensifying. Rimuru turned to the younger Ogre. "And you, your name will be Benimaru." The same glow surrounded him as he received his name.

Rimuru's gaze then shifted to the chief's wife. "You will be Zelda." Once again, the light enveloped her, and her aura grew stronger.

Rimuru felt the drain on his magicules and paused, but he remained steady.

The Ogres were stunned by the sheer power Rimuru had just bestowed upon them. Madox rose to his feet, his presence now far more imposing, and bowed deeply. "We are truly grateful, Rimuru-sama. Your power and generosity are unmatched."

"Don't mention it," Rimuru said, waving off the gratitude. "But now, there's no time to waste. Everyone needs to get ready. Gather your belongings, and I'll take care of your houses.

Madox immediately turned to the others and issued the order. "You heard Rimuru-sama! Prepare everything you need for the journey!"

The Ogres quickly dispersed, following Madox's instructions. Rimuru stepped outside, watching as the village bustled with activity. He began absorbing the houses into his body to preserve their materials for later use, marveling at how quickly the Ogres moved to action.

Rimuru smirked to himself as he watched the progress. "Not bad," he muttered. "With these guys on my side, things are starting to look promising."

Ranga's voice echoed from Rimuru's shadow. "Master, they will be valuable allies.

The journey back to the Goblin village took a few hours due to the large number of Ogres traveling with Rimuru. Along the way, Rimuru kept an eye on everyone, ensuring there were no issues. The Ogres, now fully committed to their allegiance, carried themselves with dignity and discipline, though their curiosity about their new home was evident.

As they approached the village, Rimuru was taken aback by the changes. The Goblin village had undergone a significant transformation in his absence. The houses were sturdier, the layout more organized, and there were clear signs of ongoing construction. What surprised him most, however, was the sheer number of new goblins.

Before Rimuru could take it all in, Rigurd sprinted toward him, kneeling immediately. "Welcome back, Rimuru-sama!" Rigurd's voice was filled with respect and excitement.

Rimuru smiled and motioned for him to rise. "Good to be back, Rigurd. But tell me—what's with all the new faces? This place feels twice as lively as when I left."

Rigurd stood and bowed his head slightly. "Rimuru-sama, these are refugees. They were like us before—weak and desperate. When they heard of the village you built and how you helped us, they came seeking aid. Since you were away, I accepted them, providing them shelter and food until your return."

Rimuru placed a hand on Rigurd's shoulder. "You did well, Rigurd. That was the right thing to do. I'm proud of you."

Hearing those words, Rigurd's chest swelled with pride, and his eyes glistened with emotion. "Thank you, Rimuru-sama. It was all thanks to your teachings."

The Ogres observed the interaction, their surprise evident. Benimaru, now standing beside his father Madox, glanced at the Hobgoblins. "These Goblins have evolved into Hobgoblins as well, and they're working together so efficiently… This Rimuru-sama of yours truly is something," he murmured to his father.

Madox nodded. "Indeed. This is no ordinary slime. His presence has brought about incredible change in such a short time. We were right to follow him."

Rimuru noticed their expressions and turned to address them. "Welcome to your new home. I know it's a lot to take in, but you'll soon feel at ease here. Rigurd," he continued, turning back to the Goblin leader, "find a suitable area for the Ogres to settle. They'll need some space to get comfortable."

"At once, Rimuru-sama!" Rigurd replied, quickly delegating some Hobgoblins to prepare a location. Within minutes, an open area on the outskirts of the village was designated for the Ogres.

Rimuru walked over to the spot with the Ogres following closely. He raised a hand and began releasing the houses he had absorbed from the Ogre village. One by one, the traditional-style Japanese homes reappeared, perfectly intact. The Ogres were amazed, watching as their former homes materialized before their eyes.

"It's not much," Rimuru said, brushing off the effort, "but it should make you feel more at home."

Madox stepped forward and bowed deeply. "Rimuru-sama, you continue to exceed our expectations. We are truly grateful."

Rimuru smiled. "I told you I'd take care of you. But this is just the beginning. There's still plenty to do."

As the sun began to set, Rimuru addressed the entire village. "Tonight, we're having a feast!" His voice rang out, and the announcement was met with cheers from both the Hobgoblins and the Ogres.

"Let's celebrate the arrival of our new friends and the growth of this village," Rimuru continued. "Everyone, work together to prepare the food and set up the feast. This is a night to remember!"

The village came alive with activity as Hobgoblins and Ogres worked side by side to prepare for the celebration. Ranga emerged from Rimuru's shadow, wagging his tail excitedly. "Master, shall I assist with anything?"

Rimuru patted his head. "Just keep an eye on things, Ranga. Let's make sure everyone gets along."

As the preparations continued, Zelda, Madox's wife, approached Rimuru. "Rimuru-sama, I must say, your village is remarkable. The harmony between these races is something I've never seen before."

Rimuru shrugged. "It's all about setting the right example and creating an environment where everyone feels valued. You'll see—it only gets better from here."

Benimaru smirked. "You speak as if you've done this for years. You truly are something else, Rimuru-sama."

Rimuru chuckled. "I've had some experience with leadership… in a way. But enough about me. Let's enjoy the night."

As the feast began, laughter and music filled the air. Rimuru watched from the center of the village, a sense of pride swelling within him. His village was growing, and with the addition of the Ogres, he knew they were one step closer to becoming a force to be reckoned with.
