When The Sun Loving His Moon

Chapter 19: Jealous

Fein locked Claire between his hands on the dividing wall. His eyes stared intently at him. "Say it one more time, I'll make you regret it," he threatened.

Claire swallowed as he watched Fein's face that was so close to him. Usually he would be furious that Fein was so close to him, but this time was different from usual. Claire just stayed silent, he could only stare back at him.

When Fein was about to grab Claire, suddenly someone pulled him away from Claire roughly. "What are you doing?!"

"Dior? How did you know I was here?"

"Claire, are you okay? Did he do something to you?" He worriedly held both of Claire's shoulders.

"I-I'm fine," Claire replied.

"Huft... good." Dior turned back to look at Fein.

This time he was the one who gave Fein a sharp look as if he was angry with what Fein had done to Claire.

"You'd better stay away from him, what are you doing here with Claire?"

"That's none of your business. You should just leave," Fein said.

"This is of course my business, you can't treat Claire as you please. Who do you think you are?"

There was an argument between Dior and Fein. Dior forced Fein to no longer approach Claire because he had heard the omega's story about him treating Claire so shabbily. Fein himself just silently listened to Dior's ramblings to him.

"If you just want to play around, go find another Omega to play with!" snapped Dior.

"Maybe right now I'm just playing around. But next time, maybe I'll be more serious," Fein said. "No one will know one's heart someday, right?" he continued.

Claire who heard that was wondering, what did Fein mean by that? Did he mean that someday Fein would be serious with him?

"Don't expect you can get it."

"Enough of you two! What's the point of fighting like that?! I don't need your babbling. Dior, let's just go." Claire pulled Dior's hand away from there leaving Fein alone.

A few days later, Fein never spoke to Claire again. He only noticed Claire and Dior always spending time together, even during group work they chose to do it together.

'What do I care? Whatever, just do as you please,' Fein thought as he flipped the pages of the book he was reading.

"Fein, this time it's your turn to be on guard, isn't it?" asked a female student who walked up to Fein who was sitting at the front desk of the school library.

Fein was indeed one of the members of the library, that's why he was occasionally there to change shifts to guard the library during free hours or breaks.

"Yes, I'm on duty this time," he replied.

"I want to borrow this one book." The student handed Fein a book. Fein accepted the book and filled in the return date.

The girl seemed so happy to see Fein there. She seemed to want to stay longer to watch Fein from a close distance.

"Return it before the 20th or you'll get a fine," Fein said.

"Sure, I'll return it on time. Thank you, Fein. Cheer up for your shift~" she said before leaving.

The man could only sigh and went back to the book he was reading. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere in the library was one that Fein liked. That's why he liked being there instead of being in his class which was so noisy.

Not long after, another student came walking hurriedly into the library. The girl immediately approached the front desk and sat next to Fein. "S-sorry I'm late, I had to deliver the assignment book to the teacher's desk earlier."

"Hmn... No problem," Fein replied briefly to his watch partner.

The woman with long brown hair just nodded her head and tucked her hair behind her ear. She looked at the book Fein was reading at the moment. A fantasy book.

"Fein really likes reading fantasy huh?" the girl asked.

"You could say that."

"Does Fein also like romantic stories? There are many romances with fantasy themes and they are quite interesting to read."

"I'm not really interested in reading them," replied Fein who was still focused on his book.

He did not turn his head at the girl when she engaged Fein in conversation.

"I see... Though I'd like to give you the recommendations I know if you want to know."

Fein tried to read his book quietly, but the girl continued to engage him in conversation. His heterecom eyes glanced at the female student then he said.

"Tania," he called out.

"Y-yeah, Fein?" replied Tania with a pounding heart because Fein glanced at her like that.

She hoped Fein would say something or perhaps respond to her earlier chat. However, she was just expecting too much.

"Someone wants to borrow a book," Fein said while pointing at a row of people with his chin.

"Eh?! S-since when is there a queue? B

W-well wait a moment."

The man rolled his eyeballs and continued reading the book without helping his companion. In the middle of himself reading a book, he saw two men in the tail of his eyes enter the library.

Those two people were his classmates, people Fein would recognize because they had just had a fight a few days ago on the school roof.

'What are they up to?' Fein thought as he saw the two walking to one of the bookshelves.

Fein closed his book and walked to the shelf the two people came to. Paying no attention to Tania's call, Fein walked away from there leaving her behind. When the man looked in their direction, he saw the two people sitting at one of the tables in the corner of the library. It was quite quiet, there was no one around except the two of them.

"Did you get the answers to our history assignment?"

"I did, I wrote it in my book," said the green-haired man as he took out a book from his bag.

"Good, get it done quickly so we can get home. I'm proud of you, Dior!" Claire praised his friend.

Dior laughed and took out his book, he showed it to his friend. Claire saw the answers to Dior's history assignment because they were working in a group together.

"Working in the library is more comfortable, it's not as noisy as in class."

"Right, maybe we can come here more often."

Claire nodded and continued writing. Fein who was peeking from behind the shelves at first intended to leave them, he didn't want to be called a stalker for continuing to watch the two. However, he felt something strange from Dior's gaze on Claire.

He was looking at him with a gentle gaze, while he was still busy with his book. When Claire turned his head, he found Dior's face so close to his. Claire watched Dior's face with questioning eyes.

Without saying anything, Dior smiled and then slowly approached Claire's face. Claire, who was confused, remained silent as he was still processing what was happening. Dior grinned slightly and their faces were only 5 centimeters apart.

"Claire."
