When The Sun Loving His Moon

Chapter 8: Going On Date

"Claire..." called a blonde girl who was now in front of Claire in a very low tone. As if she was pulling the man into her hypnotic love.

The two of them were now in a deserted alley, where no one could see the two of them. Claire tucked the girl's hair behind her ear and intended to kiss her. It was something they had been hoping for.

'Finally... I'm going to kiss someone,' he thought at that moment.

But before their lips could meet, a flyer blocked their faces. Of course, it surprised both of them and they immediately pulled away from each other.

Feeling annoyed, Claire turned his head towards the person who had just blocked him. His eyes widened when he saw the figure in front of him.

"You..."

A few days earlier...

Blam!

Claire got out of his father's car that drove him to the school gate. "Thanks dad."

"Sure, you study well, make mommy proud of you." His father told his first son.

"Don't you want me to make you proud?" asked Claire, surprised to hear his father's different words that day.

"I've been proud, ever since you were born," he replied, locking the door and driving to the hospital.

Claire's father worked as a psychiatrist in a large hospital in the city they lived in, Sancarsasco City, so Claire knew a few things about health.

After watching his father's car drive away, Claire walked into the school. Like other students, he entered the locker area and picked up some books that he would be studying today.

While looking for his books in his locker, a girl approached Claire happily and greeted him. "Good morning, Claire!" she greeted happily.

"Hmn? Oh... Good morning..." For a moment Claire was speechless as he couldn't remember the name of the girl in front of him. His eyes glanced at the girl's nametag and continued his word. "...Lucy. You look excited this morning."

The girl called Lucy nodded. "Right, because this morning I was able to meet you Claire. We rarely talk when we're in class."

'In class? So she's my classmate? Gosh... I still didn't recognize my new classmates. I was too focused on Fein to remember them all,' thought Claire who felt confused at himself.

"Oh right, ahahaha... We can finally talk to each other," replied Claire patting Lucy's head lightly and stroking her long blonde hair. 'Her hair is so fragrant and soft...'

Feeling Claire's hand rubbing her head instantly made Lucy's face blush with embarrassment. She was very happy to be treated like that by the man.

"Umn... Claire..." Her hand tugged lightly on Claire's uniform.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Claire pulled his hand away from Lucy's head and looked at her confused.

Shyly, Lucy made her intentions known to Claire who was currently waiting for his answer. "Claire, would you like to go on a date with me?" Lucy asked.

Claire was silent when he heard it, this was the first time anyone had asked him to go on a date. Especially if it was a girl as beautiful as Lucy, Claire was even quite amazed when he saw Lucy's beautiful violet eyes.

"A date with you? Are you really asking me out?"

"Yes, I've been watching you for a long time, Claire. You're very cool and smart too. So... I want to ask you out on a date. Do you want to?" Lucy asked again.

For Claire, there was no need to ask twice and he would definitely agree to Lucy's invitation. "Of course I want to. I can't possibly refuse if you ask me."

"Really?!" Lucy looked at Claire in disbelief, but inside she was happy and flowery. "I thought Claire wouldn't accept because I'm a beta."

'Beta? So Lucy's a beta, huh. No wonder I didn't smell anything this close. She wouldn't know about me being an Omega either, right? I can finally get a date who won't know my identity,' Claire thought happily.

"Whether you're a beta or whatever, I'll still accept it."

"Really? Thank you so--"

THUD!

From behind Lucy, someone suddenly bumped her so hard that she was pushed towards Claire. Luckily, Claire immediately caught Lucy's body into his arms.

"Don't get in the way, you annoying love bird," snapped the man with his heterochromatic eyes narrowed sharply at the two of them. His gaze was horrifying as if he really didn't like the scene in front of him at the moment.

"Heh, let's just say you're jealous that I'm alone with a woman as beautiful as Lucy. Unlike a loser like you who doesn't even have any friends," Claire retorted. "Are you okay, Lucy?" he continued to ask.

"I'm fine, thank you Claire."

"Tch, seriously. What's the point of going on a pointless date like that. What a waste of time," replied the student who was none other than Fein. He was the only one who kept getting called a loser by Claire.

"Yes, yes, yes. Said someone who wouldn't be able to get a date at all. Come on Lucy, let's just leave him alone." Claire's hand wrapped around Lucy's shoulder and walked away leaving Fein who was staring at them unhappily.

Arriving at class, Lucy said they were going on a date on Sunday and asked Claire to arrive at nine o'clock so that it wouldn't be too early in the afternoon. Lucy even said she wanted to spend more time with Claire later. "Sure, I'm glad to hear that. Roxwell Park at nine?"

"Okay, I'll wait for you there." Lucy walked to her seat which was not far from Claire's.

He couldn't wait for Sunday to come and go on a date with Lucy.

The long-awaited day finally arrived, Claire came to Roxwell Park and waited for Lucy on the park bench while continuing to try to straighten his clothes. "Perfect."

"Claireeeee!" A girl called out to Claire from afar as she waved. There was Lucy who was dressed up very beautifully, her blonde hair in a ponytail on the right side with a purple ribbon matching her eyes.

Next to her was another girl who was also familiar to Claire. She had short brown hair, with slight curls and very pretty bright blue eyes.

'Who is that? Is she Lucy's friend?' Claire thought.

"Sorry, have you been waiting long?" asked Lucy in a slightly worried tone. Claire replied no, he had deliberately come early because he didn't want to make Lucy wait for him. "Good, oh yeah this is Reina. You remember her, right? She's our classmate too."

"Oh right, Reina, right? So we're going in threes?" asked the silver-haired man with a little disappointment. He thought he would just go alone with Lucy, but it was beyond his expectations.

Even so, he tried not to look like that in front of Lucy and her friend.

"Ah no, Reina brought her own date. So we're doing a double date!"

"Double date? Ahh... A date together. So where's your date, Reina?"

"He should be arriving any minute now." Reina looked around them and found a tall man, with purple hair walking over.

"Ah, there he is!"

Claire turned his head in the direction Reina was pointing and how surprised he was to see the man who was Reina's date.

"FEIN?!"
