Whispers in the Winter Wind

Well, I suppose this concludes things, right? To everyone who bothered to read this fan fiction, thank you.

With the main series' final chapter, "Epilogue," finished, this fan fiction is taking a short break. It is not completely finished, however.

I intend to publish at least two additional side stories or more, that will focus on Yasushi and his children. One will be a chapter primarily about Liuyue Futakao Yang, the daughter of Yasushi and Jingliu. The other will cover a trip featuring Yasushi and Xinming Futakao Cheng, the son of Xinyi and Yasushi.

As I noted in my past remarks in Volume 2, this fan fiction was completely unplanned, and I composed everything on the fly. Somehow, it all tied together. The outcome was generally successful, although there were some alterations and retcons.

I plan to update some of the details in the Auxiliary Chapters soon, and did you happen to see the little preview for a future fan fiction? Robin Larkson—and the song, "Hope Is the Thing With Feathers," which was referenced in the Epilogue, will be explored later, but that won't be my immediate project.

For those unfamiliar, Robin is a character from Honkai Star Rail.

Now, let's talk about my future plans. I've decided to focus on writing about Arlecchino from Genshin Impact next. As some may have guessed, all my slice-of-life fan fictions will exist within the same shared world.

Therefore, you may notice connections or characters from "Whispers in the Winter Wind" showing up in future stories.

Also, when appropriate, some elements from works yet to be written will appear in others, should I choose that approach.

With that said, I want to express my sincere thanks to everyone who has read this far. I would like to extend a late Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone as well. Please, everyone, stay safe and I hope you have an amazing year.

The next two side stories that I mentioned previously should be published within the upcoming week or next.

Edit: I may make a new book to add those side stories too since this book is locked, or some other way. Maybe I'll just do that and add other side stories from other future fan fiction.
