Chapter 41
Chapter 41
“What, it’s just a kid.”
Three guards in black suits blocked Hyeon-woo’s path. Beyond their shoulders, a massive-looking door was visible. A small metal sign was attached to the right side of the door. Squinting his eyes, he read the letters engraved on the sign.
[AFFAIBLIR]
Affaiblir.
“How did you know to come here, little one? This isn’t a place for kids like you.”
“Isn’t he a beta?”
“He’s an omega.”
So this is why they told me to give my name at the entrance, with guys like these guarding it.
Given how secretive and strictly managed this place was, it didn’t seem to be a normal business at first glance. Hyeon-woo pulled up the message he had received from the omega on his screen and held it out to the nearest guard. The guard who checked it confiscated the phone and briefly instructed, “Follow me.”
When the guard tagged his thumb on the metal sign next to the entrance, the massive door that seemed like it wouldn’t budge began to open left and right with a heavy clunk- sound.
Hyeon-woo followed the guard through the door with suspicious eyes. An ominous aura, incomparable to the eeriness he had felt coming down the stairs, seeped out from inside.
The snake-like passage, closed off on all sides, gave the illusion of being inside a coal mine.
As Hyeon-woo, who was following behind, kept looking around anxiously, the guard walking ahead chuckled and let out a vile laugh from his throat.
“You should have come through the proper entrance. You’re the first person to come in through that rat hole.”
“……”
“Well, it’s not bad to see this first.”
The man who had spoken these incomprehensible words suddenly spread his right hand wide and rubbed a part of the wall that was slightly more raised than its surroundings. Then, with a dull sound that shook the earth, a gap gradually opened along the contours of the wall, precisely crafted, and the wall pushed back to reveal a hidden space inside.
Simultaneously, a disgusting and foul smell violently assaulted Hyeon-woo’s lungs.
“Ughk!!”
Hyeon-woo collapsed on the spot, covering his mouth and retching. It was the smell of omegas in heat cycle. Not just one or two. There were dozens of omegas in there. The horrible stench of crude smells tangled together made him feel like his insides were twisting.
The guard curled his lips in amusement as he watched Hyeon-woo struggling to suppress his rising nausea.
“Come on.”
Deliberately taking a route past stages that didn’t need to be seen, the guard showed Hyeon-woo all sorts of things. Unable to bear it any longer, Hyeon-woo finally vomited everything in his stomach. The reality of the dirty and ugly desires of the omegas he witnessed with his own eyes made him retch.
The place was filled with the moans of omegas. Behind an omega groaning in pleasure while being whipped like torture with limbs bound, a stage appeared with a strange device with multiple tentacle bundles. About a dozen omegas were entangled with the device, seeking pleasure by inserting their private parts into the protrusions of the tentacles.
On each stage decorated with different themes, scenes too terrible to describe in words unfolded. Pools of sticky fluids from the omegas’ private parts formed all over the stages.
Their appearance, writhing instinctively while unable to even control their bodies properly after losing their senses, reminded one of a horde of zombies.
“Uwek!!”
The tips of Hyeon-woo’s nails, constantly scraping the floor, turned over and drew long bloody marks. It was filthy and dirty. Witnessing their ugliness alone was sufficiently distressing, but what made it unbearable for Hyeon-woo was the fact that his own situation was no different from theirs.
He had even shown such a state to Tae-geon. That fact was unbearably horrifying.
The guard poked the back of Hyeon-woo’s head as he whimpered, scratching the floor.
“Why are you reacting like this to just this much? You know how painful the heat cycle is for omegas. This is like a charity for omegas. It’s like an amusement park to satisfy omega desires.”
“……”
“Any omega in heat cycle gets free entry.”
“……”
“Our paying customers are not the omegas, but the alphas.”
After finishing his words, the guard grabbed Hyeon-woo’s hair and lifted his head, then pointed with his finger to the dark area beyond the stage. With bloodshot eyes, Hyeon-woo looked where the guard was pointing. In the dark space without lighting, empty seats were lined up in rows. If this was the stage, that must be the audience seating.
Paying customers.
Alphas.
Finally understanding the meaning, Hyeon-woo gritted his teeth. It meant they were making money from alphas who entered to watch such shameful behavior of omegas.
“…Those… omegas…”
Hyeon-woo stammered as he spoke.
“…What happens to them?”
“……”
“They’re not doing that because they want to, right? What happens after their heat cycle ends?”
He asked, unable to hide his anger as his whole body trembled. The guard frowned at that.
“You seem to be worried about those omegas’ mental state, but there’s no need.”
The guard took out a small glass vial the size of a finger from the inner pocket of his jacket and shook it in front of Hyeon-woo’s eyes.
“Do you know what this is?”
“……”
“You’re cute, so I’ll tell you specially, little one.”
A blue liquid was contained in the transparent glass tube. The sheen changed subtly each time it was shaken by the guard’s hand. It looked like sapphire, or maybe emerald. It was a breathtakingly beautiful blue color.
“It’s called Morpho.”
“……”
“True to its name, taken from the blue-winged Morpho butterfly, one vial of this and all consciousness flies away like it’s grown wings. Those omegas don’t even remember what they’ve been doing.”
The guard chuckled as he put the vial back in his pocket. Hyeon-woo wiped his wet mouth with the back of his hand and shot back with defiant eyes.
“Really? Then this place will soon go out of business, won’t it? This kind of crappy charity.”
Although he still felt like his insides were twisting, he was furious to the point of his hair standing on end because of the guard who was deceiving omegas with such crude drugs.
Meeting Hyeon-woo’s challenging eyes, the guard licked his own lips once and curled the corner of his mouth as if to say ‘go on’.
“What kind of crazy omega would come back to a suspicious place like this where they can’t even remember who they’ve been with?”
The guard chuckled at the naive question.
“They have no choice but to come back.”
“……”
“Because this place is full of dominant alpha pheromones.”
“…What does that mean?”
“That’s as far as I can tell you without revealing business secrets.”
The guard suddenly approached Hyeon-woo from behind, bent down, and reached his hand between Hyeon-woo’s buttocks. Hyeon-woo stood up abruptly, his face serious at the creepy touch.
The guard looked down at his own dry fingers and muttered quietly.
“I didn’t think it was possible…”
This omega was half-deaf in his sense of smell. Otherwise, he couldn’t be this normal in a place overflowing with dominant alpha pheromones everywhere. It was strange that he showed an excessive aversion to omega pheromones but couldn’t even detect alpha pheromones.
“Interesting.”
The guard laughed vilely. It was one of two things. Either his sense of smell was really half-broken, or he had already developed a tolerance to even more dominant alpha pheromones. Maybe it was both.
It was an omega that piqued his interest after a long time. He barely resisted the urge to forcibly open those lips, wet with saliva from retching, and shove his thing inside. Anyway, this was a guest who had come through a VIP customer’s introduction.
“The person you’re looking for is beyond that door.”
The guard kept giggling and pointed over Hyeon-woo’s shoulder. Hyeon-woo moved towards where he was pointing. As he got closer, he realized that what he thought was a wall was slightly reflecting light like a mirror. It was a wall designed like the two-way mirror in an interrogation room, allowing one to see inside from the outside.
Hyeon-woo cursed inwardly as he looked around. Now he noticed that all four walls were made of such magic mirrors that sparkled depending on the light. The unimaginable gloominess and bizarreness made his skin crawl.
Eager to escape this unpleasant space as soon as possible, he frantically searched for a doorknob but couldn’t find one. In rising irritation, Hyeon-woo kicked the wall with his foot.
Bang-!
“Oops. You shouldn’t do that. What a temperamental young master.”
The guard came up close behind Hyeon-woo, overlapping their bodies, and reached out his right hand to touch the wall. Then, part of the wall began to open with a heavy sound, creating enough space for a person to pass through. While distracted by this, Hyeon-woo felt the guard’s hot breath on the nape of his neck. Feeling the unpleasantness creeping up his spine, Hyeon-woo covered his neck with both hands, glared at the guard, and shouted.
“Get lost!”
Does this omega know?
That every time he acts fiercely like a cat, it makes one want to shove their thing into that hole and pound it until it’s sopping wet.
The guard smirked and took a step back. Hyeon-woo glared at the unpleasant guard once more before entering the room.
