Chapter 26: CH: 26 Causing Chaos All Over
[Chapter: 26 Causing Chaos All Over]
In Schmidt's personal office, William, Peggy, and Zola walked in.
"William, you are finally here. The people who attacked you last night were investigated. It turned out to be one of our own. I have already executed those who ordered it and those that helped them with it," Schmidt said as he stood up.
"It seems that some people are still not convinced of my power and abilities. It is necessary to show them a little of my power and achievements," William said, smiling.
"Those are trivial matters. Recently, it seems that several of our arsenal bases have been destroyed by that Captain America. What do you think we should do about it?" Schmidt asked.
"Of course, we must retaliate—and not just any retaliation. It must be a decisive, earth-shattering counterattack," William declared, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous, fiery intensity.
"Oh, then what do you think we should do?" Schmidt asked again.
"Many of our strongholds are now stepping up in manufacturing weapons. Unless our weapons are mass-produced, we cannot launch Hydra on a large scale. But we have other options. Have you heard of the atomic bombs?" William said enthusiastically.
"Atomic bombs?" Zola almost cried out. "I seem to have heard about them. The heads of state from Germany and the Allies are competing, trying to make those bombs in secret."
"Atomic bomb? Is there anything special about them?" Schmidt asked.
"It's a very powerful weapon. An atomic bomb can destroy Berlin cleanly, after which it cannot be inhabited for decades. What do you think of the power of the atomic bomb?" William laughed.
Schmidt stood up. "Is there really such a powerful weapon?"
Peggy thought to herself, "Atomic bombs." William had talked about this kind of weapon when he captured her before.
"If that is true, and we get our hands on these atomic bombs, we can destroy everything at once," Zola said excitedly.
"William, how can you get this atomic bomb?" Schmidt asked.
"Germany and the United States are both in the process of secret development. If we can capture their main researchers, coupled with the technical level of our Hydra, the atomic bomb will definitely be manufactured," William laughed.
Schmidt laughed. "It seems that you have made a detailed preparation for this. Then, William, I will leave it to you."
"Relax, you won't be disappointed. Then I'll go and prepare." William took Peggy's hand and went out.
"William, how did you know about all this?" Peggy asked.
"Because this world is set in World War II, and the major events of World War II are even known to elementary school students from my world."
Peggy froze. "This world?! Is this world really just one of the many worlds out there, like you had said before?"
"No need to doubt my word. You will know about the different worlds later."
"Are you going to the United States now?"
"Yes."
"I said, no matter what you do and where you go, you must take me with you," Peggy said with a serious and firm face.
"Even if it is against your own people?" William asked with a smile.
"I know," Peggy replied.

After ten days.
A large military helicopter landed slowly from the sky. Below it were the snow-capped Alps and the headquarters of Hydra.
Crick!
A huge iron door opened, and Schmidt and Zola, as well as many soldiers, came out, standing in position as it landed.
The helicopter landed on the flat ground in front of Schmidt, and the door opened. William and Peggy took the lead to walk down from it, followed by an old man escorted by Hydra soldiers.
"Hahaha, William, I knew you would succeed," Schmidt said with a laugh.
"He looks familiar. Isn't this Einstein one of the greatest minds who joined the United States?" Schmidt walked over with a grin.
"You will fail. You won't succeed since I will never tell you anything, even if you kill me," Einstein glared at Schmidt.
"I will be the one who will rule this planet. Do you really want to go against me?" Schmidt said gloomily.
"I know what you want us to do, but even if we die, we won't help you make an atomic bomb," Einstein said firmly.
"No, death is not the most terrible thing we could do, and we don't need it. You see, some of our Hydra scientists have created a way for you to work for me willingly. Alright, now take him away," Schmidt ordered.
Schmidt smiled and said, "William, you can go in."
"Sir Schmidt, if I may, the most important thing now is to raise the reputation of our Hydra on the European battlefield. The Germans have been losing ground. Hitler is no longer enough to lead Germany. It is time for us to gain control of Hydra," William said respectfully. Schmidt knew he did it because of the people around; otherwise, he never used honorifics with him. Still, Schmidt was glad since William was showing his support in front of everyone.
Schmidt nodded. "It's true. Everything is ready to be implanted. The conquering of the planet will start now."
---
Some days later.
Hydra's super weapons began to shine on the European battlefield, and the areas that were restored by the Americans began to be attacked by the Hydra army once more.
"Hahaha, explode, go on, die!" William growled loudly while shooting from the tank and driving like a madman.
"You are a lunatic," Peggy yelled.
A super-large tank, 30 meters high and 100 meters long, was crushing everything in its path frantically. No matter the obstacles, nothing could stop the huge battle wheel of the super tank.
Looking to the other side, there was only a broken wall, burning flames, and people running for their lives, crying and weeping for help, with gunfire echoing in the city.
Boom!
A loud crashing sound echoed. The huge building in front was smashed by the impact, and building materials flew around.
"Crazy! That's Notre Dame (a place in Paris, France)! You have crashed it," Peggy screamed, her eyes full of regret.
"What the fuck is Notre Dame compared to the atrocities committed elsewhere? Do you even comprehend how many forests the British burned to the ground during their invasions? Do you have any idea of the death toll in India and across South Asia? Mass killing isn't even the worst of their crimes! Whether it's the French or the English, they couldn't care less about the lives of others. This is war! If you don't kill them first, they'll kill you without hesitation," William snarled, his voice laced with fiery disdain.
In the sky, a batch of fighter planes flew in, dropping a barrage of bombs towards the super tank driven by William.
Boom! Boom!
The sound of explosions kept reverberating. Flames soon shrouded the surroundings, making it impossible to see the condition of the super tank.
The smoke slowly dissipated, and the pilots in the fighter aircraft looked nervously below. Then, each of them opened their eyes wide in disbelief.
"How is that possible?"
"Hahaha, come on! Let me give you something in return, bitches," William yelled.
The huge gun barrel of the super-large tank aimed at the sky. A blue light flashed, and in a deafening roar, a massive blue shell blasted towards the fighters in the sky.
