As soon as Tsunade spoke, the street fell silent.

The villagers' gazes turned confused, puzzled, and even incredulous.

After all, Tsunade was the granddaughter of the First Hokage and a direct descendant of the Senju clan.

For her to publicly call a ninja of Uchiha descent a hero of the village?

Even Night Star, the person in question, hadn't expected this to happen.

"Hmph."

Tsunade crossed her arms in front of her chest, glanced coldly around, and said expressionlessly,

"Alright, let's keep moving."

The ANBU members came back to their senses, quickly acknowledged, and resumed leading the way.

But this time, no one dared to voice any further comments.

To be honest, Tsunade was deeply displeased by the villagers' attitude toward Night Star.

Despite making significant contributions during the war, his achievements had been concealed by the village leadership, leaving him to face scorn and disdain.

Such a situation should never have occurred.

As a seasoned ninja, Tsunade fully understood how much of a stir her earlier words would cause in the village.

But if she were to stay silent, out of concern for the impact, and let the villagers' words go unchecked, she wouldn't be the determined and unyielding Tsunade.

A few minutes later, the group arrived at the Hokage's office, just outside the conference room.

Yugao Uzuki and several other ANBU members stopped, gesturing politely.

"Please enter."

Tsunade nodded, pushed open the door, and walked straight in.

Just as Night Star was about to follow, Yugao leaned close and whispered a warning.

"Be careful. Elder Danzo seems very displeased with what you did this time."

For someone like Yugao, a direct subordinate of the Hokage's ANBU, to offer such a warning required considerable courage.

If Hiruzen Sarutobi found out that she'd shared confidential information overheard during guard duty, the consequences would be severe.

Night Star hadn't expected her to break ANBU protocol for his sake. Stunned, he smiled softly and said,

"I understand. Thank you for your kindness."

Hearing his gratitude, a faint blush spread across Yugao's face. Fortunately, her mask concealed it.

After this brief exchange, Night Star stepped into the conference room.

Inside the spacious room sat the village's senior leadership.

The Four Elders of Konoha were, of course, present.

So were the clan heads of the Ino-Shika-Cho trio Shikaku Nara, Inoichi Yamanaka, and Choza Akimichi.

Surprisingly, the current head of the Uchiha clan and leader of the Konoha Police Force, Fugaku Uchiha, was also present.

As Night Star entered, Danzo snorted coldly, his expression tinged with malice and disdain.

"Since everyone's here, let's begin."

Hiruzen Sarutobi cleared his throat, looking kindly at Night Star.

"You eliminated nearly a hundred enemy ninja on the Mist front line and reportedly encountered the Three-Tails Jinchuriki. Is this true?"

"Yes, that's true," Night Star admitted.

Hearing this, Danzo slammed the table hard and couldn't wait to rebuke him.

"If you encountered the Three-Tails Jinchuriki, why didn't you bring them back to the village?! Do you have any idea how valuable a tailed beast is to a ninja village?! Missing such an opportunity is truly disappointing!"

Danzo's words caused everyone except Hiruzen, Koharu Utatane, and Homura Mitokado to frown.

What kind of reasoning was that?

Encountering an enemy Jinchuriki on the battlefield and surviving was already extraordinary.

Yet he expected Night Star to bring the Jinchuriki back by force?

No one in ninja history had ever accomplished such a feat. Danzo was clearly being unreasonable, trying to pin dereliction of duty on Night Star Uchiha.

"Hey, old man, watch your words."

Tsunade frowned, countering Danzo without backing down.

"Do you even know the situation? At that time, a mysterious man with a three-tomoe Sharingan and a mask appeared, so we"

Before she could finish, Danzo interrupted coldly.

"Hmph, a three-tomoe Sharingan? Is that right?"

He then turned to Fugaku Uchiha with a hostile glare.

"Clan leader Fugaku, care to explain?"

Seeing Tsunade momentarily stunned, Night Star thought that while she was strong, she lacked skill in political maneuvering.

Danzo's aggressive stance clearly indicated he had received information from Orochimaru, confirming the appearance of a masked man with a three-tomoe Sharingan on the Mist front line.

It was Obito again, with that familiar three-tomoe Sharingan.

And here they were, once again trying to pin the blame on the Uchiha clan.

Present at the scene were Orochimaru, Tsunade, and Night Star.

Danzo already had Orochimaru's testimony.

He had just tricked Tsunade into revealing hers.

Now, even if Tsunade wanted to lie to protect the Uchiha clan, there was no way to take back what she had said.

As Fugaku stammered, unsure how to respond, Danzo smirked triumphantly and declared,

"I now suspect that the Uchiha clan is colluding with the Mist to threaten the village's safety!"

He then turned to the calm-faced Night Star and accused loudly,

"And Night Star Uchiha is the mastermind behind this incident!"
