Chapter 5: 05 Tsunade's Attention
When Tsunade saw this passage, she was already stunned.
Big and white?
What's big and white?
Tsunade looked down for a moment and instantly understood what Night Star was referring to.
"This guy... is really infuriating!"
Tsunade gritted her teeth and said angrily.
Setting aside other things
Since Night Star bears the Uchiha surname, she absolutely cannot become his wife.
Although Tsunade had voluntarily abandoned the Senju name, she was still the granddaughter of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, and the grandniece of the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama.
With such a background, how could she possibly marry into the inherently evil Uchiha clan?
If her granduncle Tobirama were to find out, he'd probably be so angry he'd jump out of his coffin!
However, teasing aside
Tsunade gleaned quite a bit of information from this passage.
The owner of this diary, Uchiha Night Star, seemed to have never met her.
Initially, she thought that someone capable of disregarding Danzo and the Root organization with such power must be a middle-aged man.
But now it seemed her guess was wrong this Uchiha Night Star was likely from the younger generation.
At the very least, he must have been born after the Second Ninja War ended, when she left Konoha Village.
"So young and already possesses such astonishing strength..."
Tsunade frowned slightly, her almond-shaped eyes revealing a hint of concern.
An extraordinary talent, combined with what appeared to be the ability to foresee the future.
Such a person, being part of the evil Uchiha clan, was truly unfortunate news for Konoha Village.
As for the generous rewards mentioned in the diary, Tsunade wasn't particularly interested.
She was a powerful shinobi with the title of one of the Legendary Sannin, arguably the strongest woman in the entire ninja world.
Moreover, due to her hemophobia, she could no longer continue as a ninja.
Even if her strength were to improve, what would it matter?
What Tsunade valued was the content of the diary itself.
Just yesterday's entry alone provided her with extremely critical information.
There was someone in the Land of Rain named Nagato who possessed the Rinnegan, the eyes of the Sage of the Six Paths.
(Note: Tsunade had met Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko in the Land of Rain but didn't know their names.)
This diary itself was more valuable than any reward.
Meanwhile, in Konoha Village, a team of Anbu members monitoring the Uchiha clan compound immediately grew alert when they saw Night Star step out of the gates.
"Quick, report to Lord Hokage!"
"R-right away!"
One of them hurriedly turned and left, while the remaining Anbu members stayed hidden, doing their best to mask their presence and continue their surveillance.
Sweat trickled down their foreheads due to extreme nervousness.
Uchiha Night Star was not just a standout among Konoha's younger generation no, he was arguably the most talented individual in Konoha's entire history.
121 B-rank missions, 35 A-rank missions, and 4 S-rank missions all completed without a single failure.
This astonishing record was achieved in the few short years between Night Star's graduation and the Nine-Tails incident.
But beneath these unbelievable numbers lay a chilling detail:
In every mission Night Star undertook, not a single enemy was left alive.
What was even more terrifying was that he had yet to awaken the Uchiha clan's Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan.
To have such incredible power without the Sharingan
If he were to awaken it, he might one day rival the likes of Uchiha Madara, a truly fearsome existence!
And in today's Konoha, there was no second Hashirama to keep him in check.
The only thing giving the village leadership some peace of mind was that, since the Nine-Tails incident, Night Star had stayed within the Uchiha compound for a whole year without stepping out.
Now, why was he suddenly leaving the compound?
Could it be that the Uchiha clan, secretly plotting something all along, was finally about to make a move?
At this moment, Night Star, as if unaware of anything, walked calmly down the street.
[Heh, it's been a year, and the Anbu's surveillance of the Uchiha compound continues.]
[Do Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura really think these people can escape my detection?]
The women reading the diary:
Goodness! The so-called "Professor of Ninjutsu," the strongest Hokage in history, Sarutobi Hiruzen, seemed so insignificant when mentioned by Night Star.
Far away on the frontlines of the Mist Village's battle with Konoha, Mei Terumi, resting against a tree, saw this passage and smiled alluringly.
It seemed Konoha Village had significant internal issues.
For the Mist Village, this was indeed good news.
Night Star could clearly sense the villagers on either side of the road, their gazes filled with unconcealed disdain the moment they noticed the Uchiha fan emblem on his back.
[The Uchiha's image in the hearts of Konoha's villagers remains as poor as ever.]
[Perhaps this is what they call prejudice.]
[If these people knew that the revered Third Hokage had sacrificed hundreds of lives in the village to replicate a Wood Release ninja, I wonder how they'd react. Truly curious.]
