At Nuveen Grand Hotel in Seoul, South Korea, the tranquility of a typical morning was shattered at exactly nine o'clock.

A long front desk for reception, staffed with uniformed employees accessing computers, attending to guests and at a go, a piercing scream echoed through the halls, causing everyone present to freeze in place, straining to determine if the sound was truly coming from within the hotel and then, It was when the scream rang out again, sending a wave of dread through the guests and staff alike.

Those in their rooms rushed out to the entrance of their doors, being alarm by the horrifying screaming, peering out from the entrance of the door and they saw a young hotel staff lady on the floor, crawling backward, screaming and pointing into a room she was eventually facing into, her face bore the mask of terror. Fear gripped everyone, and no one dared to step an inch away from the entrance of their room as they keep a frighten fixed gazes at the horrifying scene before them.

It lasted for minutes until some hotel male employees dashed toward the lobby and found the young staff still screaming, pointing frantically at the door of the rooms she was facing while still on the floor. Tears were obviously raining from her eyes ruining her perfect eyeliner.

"What's going on?" One of the staff members asked immediately, but the staff could only continue to scream, her finger trembling as it pointed toward the door slightly opened. This time, she was trying her possible best to avoid looking into the room.

They turned to each other in questioning gazes, while trying to make the situation light and avoid getting the guest watching the scene before them to be even more scared before slowly moving toward the door and when they finally opened the door, a collective gasp escaped their lips with an audible 'Jesus Christ!'

The horrifying scene before them intensified the girl's screams and it quickly turned into crying leaving some at their door cold shivering the more.

A young lady lay lifeless on the bed, a knife protruding from her stomach. She was dressed only in a white nightwear which eventually had turned to red, and the white duvet on the bed was stained crimson with her blood painting the white floor red.

When the staff look even closely, they realized the body was that of the nation beloved star actress and model, park A-yeong.

"Holy shit! Call an ambulance, quick!" one of the staff shouted, panic rising in their voices.

At a blink, police, detectives, and reporters flooded the hotel.

After gathering evidence, the lifeless body of Park A-yeong was taken away, leaving a heavy silence in its wake.

Ye-hoon Aera, the staff member who discovered the body, was later taken to the police station for her statement and interrogation, definitely.

In the interrogation room, she sat across from Detective Jun, her gaze fixed on the floor. It was as if her spirit had left her, still reeling from the shock of what she had witnessed earlier.

"When did you find the body?" Detective Jun finally broke the silence, studying her intently. She remained quiet for a moment, lost in her thoughts of regrets.

Ye-hoon Aera was informed her idol, actress park A-yeong was staying in the hotel by one of her co-cleaners and so she beg her to let her do the cleaning for today even when it wasn't her shift. Actress Park A yeong has always been her role model and so she wanted to see her for herself and as well take a photo with her only to meet the unbelievable tragedy.

How could this be, how could this happen? kept ranging in her head when detective Jun tone came up again.

"Aera, I'm sure you don't want to spend the night here. It's best if you cooperate with me and answer my questions so we can make this easier for both of us," he urged gently. She nodded, still unable to meet his eyes.

"When did you find the body?" he asked and she replied truthfully.

"At exactly nine a.m.," she replied, her voice trembling.

"What were you going there for?" He questioned studying her eyes to tell if she's honest or__

"Room service," she answered, her voice barely above a whisper.

"How did you get in? Judging she was already murdered by the time you got there. Did you let yourself in?"

"I let myself in. I knocked, but there was no response. I left and came back, still no answer. Then I noticed the door wasn't locked properly, so I __ let myself in, and that's when I found__ I found__her." She explained sobbing.

"Why didn't you raise an alarm immediately?" Detective Jun pressed.

Aera finally lifted her head, her eyes red and filled with anguish. "What do you expect, Detective? For a young woman who has never encountered such horror, to wake up one morning, go to work, and find her idol dead? I fell to the floor and couldn't even stand when I saw her lying there lifeless. All I could do was scream." Tears streamed down her cheeks as she explained, she broke down, the weight of the moment crashing down on her.

She still couldn't bring herself to imagine such could be her fate this morning.

Detective Jun observed her closely, sensing her genuine distress. He handed her a tissue, which she gratefully accepted, wiping her tears while still on it.

"How long has she been in the hotel?" he asked gently.

"I'm not sure, I only resume today sir, but I heard she'd been there for three days."

Detective Jun studied her for a moment before making a call to some officers. They arrived shortly and took Aera away after taking her statement down.

"Sir, how did it go?" Officer Wang asked as he saw Detective Jun emerge. His expression already say the obvious.

"She seem innocent. I let her go, for now,"

"But sir—"

"What about Park A-yeong's body?" Officer Jun asked curtly.

"Her body was taken to the morgue, sir. The hotel is closed for now, but all the staff are still inside."

Detective Jun grabbed his jacket and put it on. Heading to the car. "I'm going to the hotel."

"Can I come with you, sir?" Officer Wang asked but he zoom off without a reply.
