A New Light Remake

After light felt that strange sense of danger he stands before the entrance of the girls house. And while he walked the girl back home he had asked what her name was even though he heard it from her mother. The girls name was Phoebe Allison. He thought that it was great name. Now that he's at the Phoebe house, Phoebe then knocks on the door. Phoebe's mother then opens the door and was in shock.

"What are you doing out here in the middle of the night!?"

Phoebe looked away from her

"Sorry mom."

Her mom looked at her and gave a concerned sigh.

"Come here Phoebe."

Phoebe walked closer to her, eyes still glued to the ground like she felt guilty. She then picked her up from the ground and brought her into the house. Phoebe's head was on her mother's shoulder as she was taken inside. She looks at light and waved at him.

"Goodbye mister spirit."

Light waved at her as well.

"You too Phoebe."

Her mother heard her talking.

"Who are you talking to?"

Phoebe looked a little worried but confused too. Light looked at her and gave a small chuckle.

"It's fine, you can tell her if you want."

Phoebe turned over to her mother.

"Well, I was talking to Mister Spirit."

Phoebe pointed behind her. Phoebe's mother now sighed with worry.

"Let's go put you in bed before it gets more late."

Phoebe looked at her mother and nodded.

"Ok."

Phoebe then looked back at light again.

"Hey mister spirit, do you have a name."

Light was going to reply back by saying his name but he stopped mid sentence.

"You can call me li- no you can call.. me.. Neriah. Yeah Neriah."

"Ok, it was nice meeting you Neriah."

The mother stopped in her tracks and looked at Phoebe with surprise.

"What.. did you just say?"

Phoebe looked back at her and pointed to light whom her mom couldn't see.

"Mister Spirit said that his name was Neriah."

She was stunned, she didn't really know what to say.

"Let's.. let's just get you to bed alright."

"Ok."

They then disappear behind the door of the house. Light watched as the lights in the house slowly turned off. Now that he got her back home he then turned his head to the forest.

"Now I guess I should figure out where this strange sense of danger is coming from."

For some reason light could feel a strange reaction going on his body. It was like a sixth psense, this strange sense of danger and emergency. The direction of its coming from is the forest. He walked over to the forest to investigate where and why he has this feeling. After some walking he finally reached the forest. As he walked through the forest he kept seeing random claw marks on the ground and there are some trees that look to have been broken.

"This is.. something else."

As he continues, the marks get more consistent and once he got to the end of the marks there was a giant black crack in the ground. If anything it almost looked like the size of a chasm. It was at least 60 feet wide From left to right and it would look like it would take 40 feet to cross to the other side of it. He looked down it and all he saw was just complete darkness.

"Seems to be very deep in the ground."

He looks away for a moment before hearing a very similar sound of trees moving. Instinctively, he turned to the sound and saw that same monster he first encountered going into the crack. Light was frozen in. Fear, he didn't know what to do. But then suddenly he gets a strange sense courage that he didn't previously have. He never had this kind of courage, not even in his past life he never had this courage, not once. He took a sharp gulp and a took a step forward. He looked down at the hole with a bit of sweat coming down his face.

"O-ok light, you can do this. W-who knows whats down there."

He looks at his hands to remind himself that he's not in his actual body. He then looked back at the hole.

"Here goes nothing."

He then jumps down the hole disappearing into the darkness below. After he jumped a white bird lands where light was previously at as someone who sounded both male and female spoke.
