After Time Traveling, I was Forced to Marry a Wealthy Family

Chapter 57 - I

Mu Ci was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, utterly resenting Gu Huai. He avoided giving him a single glance, refused to speak to him, and wouldn’t even make eye contact. He would rather cuddle the dog and sleep in the kennel than shared a bed with Gu Huai.

Gu Huai found the situation amusing. He forcibly pulled Mu Ci back, pressed him onto the bed, removed his pants, applied medicated oil on his palms, and began massaging the red and swollen areas.

The massage was certainly more painful than the spanking. Mu Ci squirmed and struggled under his hands, but Gu Huai ruthlessly suppressed his every movement.

Unable to struggle anymore and feeling the pain in his buttocks, Mu Ci resorted to verbal attacks on Gu Huai. He called him a bastard, a scumbag, violent, perverted, and even criticized him for making food tasted bad.

After scolding him harshly, Mu Ci eventually grew tired and simply laid down on the bed, falling asleep.

.

At four o’clock in the afternoon, at the Jing household.

Zheng Xuran got up from the desk, holding his waist. Jing Zheng’s warmth still lingered on his body, but Jing Zheng himself was gone.

Left to breathe on his own, Zheng Xuran made his way to the bathroom, holding onto the wall for support, and began cleaning up the remnants of Jing Zheng’s presence within him.

Jing Zheng’s desire for him seemed insatiable, bordering on inhumane. He would initiate sex with Zheng Xuran at any moment, without considering whether his body was ready or if there were other tasks at hand.

Zheng Xuran wondered if Jing Zheng treated other lovers with the same cruelty. While Jing Zheng slept with him, he was not his sole partner. Jing Zheng’s preferences didn’t discriminate between genders; as long as someone was beautiful and compliant, they were fair game.

Jing Zheng’s lovemaking was always rough and intense. Despite Zheng Xuran’s pleas for gentleness and slowness, Jing Zheng paid no heed.

For instance, that afternoon, Jing Zheng suddenly decided to have sex on the desk. Perhaps due to the setting, Jing Zheng was particularly aroused and pressed down on him vigorously, leaving Zheng Xuran feeling weak.

Yet, he couldn’t rest yet. Jing Zheng had a banquet to attend in the evening, accompanied by a prominent lady. Zheng Xuran had to prepare Jing Zheng’s attire.

Leaning his head against the wall, Zheng Xuran closed his eyes and let the hot water wash over him. He felt discomfort in his back, prompting him to apply medicine to himself from the first aid kit.

Feeling a bit dizzy, perhaps from a fever, Zheng Xuran hastily found a fever-reducing medicine, swallowed it with water, and then proceeded to prepare a suit for Jing Zheng’s evening engagement.

After seeing Jing Zheng off, Zheng Xuran stumbled back to the bedroom and collapsed onto the large bed.

He was certain he had a fever, so he took a deep breath and glanced at the time. It was now seven o’clock in the evening, and the banquet ended at ten o’clock. He could rest for three hours before picking up Jing Zheng on time.

Thinking like this, Zheng Xuran felt relieved and fell asleep almost instantly.

.

He forgot to set the alarm clock, and he didn’t know how long he had slept when he was awakened by the sudden ringing of his cell phone in his ears.

Zheng Xuran sat up reflexively, reaching out to pick up the clothes and put them on. Severe pain shot up from his lower body without any scruples. The fever didn’t seem to improve with the medicine, and he still felt dizzy.

Considering he should go to the doctor for an infusion, the incessant ringing of his cellphone halted his thoughts. He picked up the phone and whispered, “Young master.”

Jing Zheng’s voice came from the other end of the phone, devoid of emotion, “I’ve been drinking, come and pick me up.”

Zheng Xuran shifted uncomfortably and said awkwardly, “Young master, I feel very unwell, maybe I have a fever…”

“Well, so what?”

Zheng Xuran’s voice faltered for a moment as he tried to appeal to Jing Zheng’s conscience, “Young master, it’s because of what you did to me this afternoon that I…”

“So what?” Jing Zheng interrupted, checking the time. “I’ll give you half an hour to drive here.”

Zheng Xuran fell silent for a moment before softly replying, “Yes.”

His body wasn’t fit for driving. As soon as he sat in the driver’s seat, weakness overcame him, and his vision blurred. Despite the headache and tingling pain in his lower body, he started the car and slowly pulled out of the Jing family’s estate.

The city was bustling at this hour, with a lot of traffic on the road. Zheng Xuran drove as cautiously as possible, but remembering Jing Zheng’s half-hour ultimatum, he gritted his teeth and accelerated.

Cold sweat dripped down his forehead, and his eyes stung so much that he could hardly see the road ahead. Zheng Xuran reached out to the passenger seat to grab a tissue. Suddenly, a blinding light flashed before him, followed by a loud horn. He barely had time to react before losing consciousness in the violent impact.
