After Time Traveling, I was Forced to Marry a Wealthy Family

Chapter 69 - Extra: A Family of Three I

Gu Huai drove the old and young back home. The security guard of the mansion opened the metal retractable door. When the car drove into the magnificent mansion, Li Chi was obviously surprised.

Mu Ci didn’t notice his expression, and of course, he didn’t realize there was anything surprising about this mansion.

He had lived in the palace since he was a child and had seen many luxurious things. Even when he came to this world the day before, he thought everyone here lived in such a house. Later, when Gu Huai took him to the streets, he understood Gu Huai’s home was special.

But despite the comparison, Mu Ci didn’t think there was anything extraordinary about a very, very large villa with a garden. The things that made him surprised and curious were basically the high-tech modern supplies in the mansion.

Gu Huai drove the car directly into the underground garage, turned around, and asked Mu Ci to get out of the car. He glanced at Li Chi and said, “Pick a room for yourself. Don’t expect to live with us.”

Li Chi snorted coldly. He said, “I didn’t plan to live with you either.”

Then he turned and asked Mu Ci, who was opening the door, “Which room did you live in? I wanted to live next door to you.”

Mu Ci felt embarrassed, “That, Gu Huai and I lived together…”

Li Chi’s brows immediately furrowed deeply. Gu Huai looked at him proudly and showed off: “Why, of course, my wife slept in my bed. Don’t be miserable, it’s no use being jealous. If you’re envious, wait until you grow up to find a wife.”

“Gu Huai.” Mu Ci called him helplessly. Really, he was such a big man, why should he compete with a child?

Mu Ci turned to the young teenager in the car and said softly: “Then you can live next to us. It’s convenient…”

“No! You can live in the guest room on the third floor.” Because of this wild boy, Gu Huai thought the dream of holding a child similar to Mu Ci was shattered, so he looked particularly displeased with him. “No objections are allowed, or you will sleep in the basement!”

Mu Ci thought for a while and smiled at Li Chi, “That’s okay. Because you have to study, and we shouldn’t disturb you.”

Gu Huai sneered, “Yes, if you hear some unusual noises at night, it will hinder your normal development.”

Mu Ci blushed, glared at Gu Huai angrily, but the latter stopped after seeing the good result, and hurriedly came over to hug Mu Ci, “Okay, okay, be good, I won’t say anything anymore, let’s go up, I’m almost starving to death.”

.

Regarding the studies of young Li Chi, Mu Ci and Gu Huai had a little disagreement. Mu Ci thought Li Chi was already in the third grade of junior high school when he was in the orphanage. It would be better to hire a tutor at home for the remaining semester to teach him and just go directly to high school next year.

But Gu Huai really wanted to send him away, far away. It would be best to go to a boarding school in another place, where he couldn’t go back home once a month.

Mu Ci firmly disagreed. Li Chi was already quite old. He was not close to them in the first place, and if he was sent to another place, wouldn’t it be impossible to cultivate feelings?

Mu Ci was very serious about this matter. Unlike Gu Huai, he did not adopt a child out of temporary interest. He regarded Li Chi as his own child and sincerely hoped to get along with him like a family member.

Gu Huai couldn’t resist him, so he reluctantly agreed, but threatened that the child would have to live on campus after he graduated high school. Mu Ci thought that getting along with his peers would be good for his growth, so he agreed. Anyway, the high school he liked was in the local area and the child could go home every weekend.

This matter came to an end. Li Chi settled down at Gu Mansion. He might be a wild boy, but he listened to Mu Ci’s words. Even so, Li Chi didn’t have good attitude to Gu Huai and Gu Huai even more disliking the teenager.

.

Just like this, a month passed in the smoke between Gu Huai and Li Chi and Mu Ci’s helplessness. Mu Ci and Li Chi became closer and closer, and Bai Ling and the others gradually got used to this young man’s existence.

One day, Li Chi was watching TV on the sofa in the living room. Mu Ci came down to open the refrigerator and wanted to get a glass of freshly squeezed mango juice. Li Chi turned his head and said casually: “Mom, bring me a bottle of iced Coke.”

Mu Ci subconsciously agreed. He suddenly realized when he took out the Coke, “Xiao Chi, what did you call me?”

Li Chi didn’t look back, but his voice was inexplicably nervous, “I was adopted by you, shouldn’t I call you mom?”

Mu Ci couldn’t laugh or cry, “I am a man, you should call me dad.”

“I don’t like any title about father.”

Li Chi’s voice suddenly became cold, and Mu Ci then thought of his life experience. Mu Ci couldn’t help but think of his own father, his eyes dimmed for a moment, and he handed the ice coke to Li Chi, “I don’t like it either… If you want to call me mom, just call me mom, but don’t call me that outside, it’s too weird.”

“Yeah.” Li Chi replied stiffly: “I know…Mom.”

Mu Ci couldn’t help but smile, “I didn’t expect anyone to call me that. It’s quite novel.”

He smiled, and Li Chi’s little face that was always tight, finally relaxed for a moment.
