As a Rich Boy at the Academy

Chapter 2: Chapter 2 – Be Sure to Pave the Way!

Rouvelt Eldra.

Blonde hair with a slight wave.

Ruby-like red eyes.

And, when people see me, they go, Aaaaagh! It's Rouvelt!

An outstanding appearance that turns heads.

I am Rouvelt Eldra, the only son and heir to the world's greatest conglomerate. I'm the very image of a rich boy straight out of fiction.

That's me!

Except for one thing—I can't have sex until I'm 20.

But apart from that? I can do anything.

For now, I'm focused on living the best academy life until I turn 20. And as a bonus, I've also made a plan to save the world.

With the Eldra family's wealth, there's nothing I can't achieve.

My parents, Rufus and Grace Eldra, are fully supportive. They're always like, Oh my~ Our Rouvelt is doing all sorts of wonderful things~. Their attitude is, If you need help, feel free to ask~.

They believe I can do anything!

Of course, my life includes a group of heroines who brighten my days.

Rize and Ellie are part of my world, and I'll detail how I plan to win their hearts.

The first step in my plan is to improve my own fighting skills.

---

Blaze Blood is the academy that appears in Blaze Blood. It's also called the Hunter Academy.

This academy trains heroes to prevent monsters from escaping dungeons and wreaking havoc.

Students learn how to defeat these creatures and keep the world safe.

Since minors aren't allowed to take up dangerous jobs, only adults are admitted to the academy. To qualify, you must have awakened your magical powers.

It's said that awakening signs appear before you turn 20. If you don't awaken by then, there's no hope for you. Genetics play a major role in this process.

For someone like me, who is destined to attend this academy, developing skills early is crucial.

Fortunately, I'm naturally gifted. I've been improving my abilities by training with famous hunters from around the world.

Even though the training is tough, I endure it because it's all part of achieving the life I want.

---

The second part of my plan is to capture the heroines I have my eyes on.

Since I boast a 100% success rate in the game, I know all the heroines' settings and backstories.

Among them are heroines I can influence from a young age.

For example, Yagitsune Kagura.

Yagitsune Kagura is a shrine maiden who runs a shrine with her mother.

And she has an amazing body.

Her backstory, revealed in the game, goes like this: Kagura dreams of entering the academy to become a hunter and support her family.

But her family shrine is struggling financially.

Over the years, businesses and shopping malls nearby spread false rumors and put pressure on the shrine to weaken its reputation.

Eventually, the shrine's condition worsens. When things hit rock bottom, I step in.

At 17 years old, when my plans are well underway, I visit the shrine.

---

I arrive pretending to be a casual visitor, looking around the shrine.

On the surface, it looks clean because Kagura and her mother work hard to maintain it. But, they clearly don't have the money to hire extra help.

The facilities are aging, and the place feels abandoned and lonely.

Kagura is at school, so her mother, Yagitsune Ayame, is cleaning the shrine alone when she notices me.

"Oh! Welcome," she says, rushing over.

She desperately tries to get me to draw a fortune, pointing toward the lottery.

I can't help but feel sorry for her.

At the same time, I realize this is the perfect opportunity to execute my plan.

Why?

Because Yagitsune Ayame, Kagura's mother, is stunningly beautiful.

She has the same gorgeous, dark purple hair and eyes as Kagura. Her figure is mature and elegant, with a striking charm that's hard to ignore.

In the game, Ayame only had a brief appearance, but seeing her in real life, I realize how captivating she truly is.

Originally, I planned to focus on Rize, Ellie, and the main heroines of BlackBlood. But Ayame's allure makes me reconsider.

Unfortunately, I'm bound by the restriction:

[Sexual acts with others are possible after reaching the age of 20.]

If it weren't for this message, I would've made a move on Ayame right away.

---

I approach the fortune lottery.

"That'll be 5000 meni," Ayame says.

The price is absurd—ten times higher than other shrines.

But she quickly tries to lower it. "Is it expensive? How about 4000... or 3000 meni?"

She's clearly desperate.

I feel sorry for her, so I hand over 5000 meni without hesitation and draw a fortune.

The fortune predicts disaster.

Ayame glances at my fortune and panics. "Ah! Tie it to the rope, and all bad fortune will be warded off!"

I follow her instructions, tying the paper to a rope.

Afterward, I donate some coins, ring the bell, and pretend to make a wish.

While I'm praying, Ayame starts explaining the history of the shrine.

"Yagitsune Shrine is hundreds of years old and has been protecting people for generations. Hunters often visit us to receive blessings from Yorugitsune-sama."

Yorugitsune is the fox deity worshipped at the shrine.

In the game, praying at this shrine grants a temporary buff:

[The protection of Yorugitsune has been granted. Magic power increases by 0.1% for 24 hours.]

The buff is real, though in the past, the shrine's blessings were much stronger.

I nod, pretending to be amazed by Ayame's explanation.

Encouraged by my interest, Ayame becomes even more animated.

But her excitement highlights how desperate she is to attract more visitors.

That's when I make my move.

---

"Are you the shrine maiden here?" I ask.

"Yes, I'm in charge of Yagitsune Shrine."

"If it's alright, I'd like to discuss something with you."

"Of course! Anything I can help with," Ayame replies eagerly.

We move to the house within the shrine, and I make my proposal.

"A sponsorship?" she asks, surprised.

"Yes," I reply. "I'd like to personally support Yagitsune Shrine and help it thrive again."

Naturally, Ayame is skeptical. A random teenager offering financial support would make anyone suspicious.

"I can tell how valuable this shrine is after listening to your explanation. Oh, I should introduce myself properly."

I stand up, bow politely, and say, "My name is Rouvelt Eldra."

Ayame's eyes widen. "Eldra... as in the world's greatest conglomerate?"

"Yes, the Eldra family," I confirm.

"But why would someone like you support our shrine...?"

"As I said, I believe this shrine is worth investing in."

To prove I'm serious, I pull out my phone and make a call.

"Rize," I say.

[Yes, Bocchan.]

"I've decided to support Yagitsune Shrine. Send a team to renovate the facilities immediately."

[Understood.]

I hang up and flash a charming smile at Ayame, who's still in shock.

"Please wait. I'll show you the power of the Eldra family."
