As Homelander In Multiverse

Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Let Me Teach You a Lesson

Daily Planet.

Lois Lane stood by the window, gazing out at Metropolis cloaked in the night's shadows.

"Clark, where have you gone?" she murmured.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a booming voice from the editor-in-chief's office.

"Can anyone tell me why we weren't the first to get this footage?"

"Damn it, this is explosive news! A Kryptonian showing up in Metropolis, and none of you knew about it?"

Kryptonian? Lois turned around and saw the newsroom's TV playing a video.

In the footage, a man in a plaid shirt unleashed golden heat beams from his eyes, slicing a truck clean in half.

Lois instinctively covered her mouth in shock.

The editor, noticing her dazed expression, walked over and waved a hand in front of her face.

"Hey, you okay?"

Snapping out of her thoughts, Lois quickly shook her head. "I'm fine. Just feeling a bit unwell. I'll head home for now."

She retreated upstairs, pulling out her phone and dialing a number. The line didn't connect.

Setting the phone down, she looked toward the sky and whispered, "Clark, you need to come back. Something's wrong—very wrong."

Her hair fluttered in the wind as it blew through the open window, carrying her words far into the night.

---

Morning.

Lying on the bed of a small-town inn, Homelander stared at the glowing interface projected into his vision.

[You have initiated a Multiverse Event.]

Event Name: Dawn of Justice

Description:

The Battle of Metropolis triggered by the Kryptonians has left deep scars. The growing tension between Batman and Superman escalates as Lex Luthor's jealousy fuels a dangerous conspiracy. In the darkest hour before dawn, your arrival has the potential to change everything.

Event Objectives: None.

Note:

You may act freely. When you leave this universe, the event will conclude, and your actions will be evaluated for rewards.

Homelander chuckled at the notification.

"A multiverse event with no specific requirements? How interesting."

His heightened senses picked up commotion outside the inn. He moved to the window and saw flashing lights and police barriers along the road leading out of town.

"They're already here," he muttered.

"Looks like the military of this universe wants to test their luck."

Glancing at the wall, Homelander's heat vision activated, turning it translucent in his view. Through it, he saw Lin Aida still asleep, her breathing steady and peaceful.

Satisfied, he opened his inventory and retrieved a coin marked with a bat emblem—the Black Circus Coin.

He flipped it into the air. As it fell, it landed in a rough, calloused hand. Beside him stood two summoned figures: the Stone Man and the Acrobat.

Homelander smirked. "Two of you this time, no Ringmaster, but that's fine."

Pointing toward Lin Aida's room, he commanded, "Stay here and protect her."

The summoned members nodded in silent obedience. Confident they would follow orders, Homelander removed his outerwear, revealing the sleek, dark Night Lightning Suit underneath.

Without a sound, he floated out the window, ascended into the sky, and shot off at superhuman speed.

---

Outside the town.

Inside a seemingly ordinary truck undergoing inspection, a group of soldiers worked amidst rows of computers.

"Target One has left the town!" one soldier called out.

"He's flying at supersonic speed—we've lost his position!"

A colonel turned sharply. "Deploy satellite tracking immediately! And notify General Archer at the Pentagon—Target One is on the move, but Target Two remains in town. Await further orders."

---

High above the desert sands, Homelander halted mid-air, gazing down at the vast expanse below. Landing atop a dune, he surveyed the area and noticed an approaching convoy kicking up clouds of dust.

Moments earlier, he'd spotted two F-15 fighter jets soaring overhead. Now, the convoy of tanks and armored vehicles came to a halt not far from his position.

A broadcast blared from one of the vehicles:

"To the individual on the dune, this is General Archer. You have violated our nation's laws. Surrender immediately."

Homelander chuckled, the sound rich with amusement.

"Superman, you've truly spoiled these ants. They've forgotten their place."

He floated off the ground, his figure rising steadily against the backdrop of the morning sun.

"To think you have the audacity to command a god," he declared, his voice carrying across the desert.

"I'll give you one chance—leave now, and never return. Only then will I grant you the mercy of walking away with your lives."

In the command vehicle, General Archer's lips curled into a grim line. "This guy's dangerous. Use lethal force," he ordered.

The sky split with the roar of jet engines as the F-15s locked onto their target. Homelander heard the incoming jets and smiled.

Golden beams of light shot from his eyes, slicing through the lead aircraft. A fiery explosion erupted in the sky as the second jet followed, reduced to a ball of flame.

On the ground, the convoy's soldiers watched in horror as the black-armored figure turned to face them, eyes aglow with searing intensity.

"Open fire!" General Archer bellowed.

Bullets and shells rained upward, exploding around Homelander. Yet, none of them touched him, his Force Field absorbing every attack.

Through the chaos, Homelander's gaze locked onto the convoy. His heat vision intensified, unleashing twin beams of golden light that carved through the vehicles like a hot knife through butter.

The resulting explosions lit up the desert, sending debris, fire, and smoke into the air. Tanks melted, soldiers screamed, and the road was reduced to a charred wasteland.

As the beams neared the command vehicle, a shadow descended from above, intercepting the attack with outstretched hands.
