Ascension of the Monster Queen

Nessa looked at the demon and he glanced at her then she exhaled deeply and began walking out of the room, then he followed her and as they walked the hallway.

As they were walking, a few things came to Nessa's mind and her brows furrowed and she was about to walk into a wall, due to how last she was and the demon grabbed onto her arm and Nessa flinched as he pulled her back and her hand landed on his chest and his brows furrowed as he glanced at her and she exhaled deeply.

"You were quite lost in your thought? Are you okay?" He asked and she clutched his clothes then, raised up and he looked at her.

"Yeah, I am fine, sorry about that, I was just thinking about a few more things that I may have to get done soon enough, you and I both know that there are a lot of things to," She responded and he sighed.

"Well, I understand, your life has been very hectic so far, you have a lot to fight for as well but I am going to ask one more time, are you sure you want to go through with this?" The demon asked and she looked up at him.

"Yeah, I want to and right now I have to, they are making a mess out of everyone's life, they are making the innocent suffer as well, I can't just stand by and see certain things," She responded as the demon stared at her and she was about to brace her head against his chest but just then she moved away and he glanced at her before scoffing.

"I see, well your reasons are understandable, you have to do this in order to protect everything around you now, shall we get going, they will be here in just a few minutes?" He asked and she nodded then rushed off and the demon peeked at her.

'She has a lot of energy at times, also, I wonder if anything is going to happen here, if it does I wonder who it will be and what may become of everything, the powers are indeed shifting, things are changing, for worse, I don't really think so,' The demon thought as he went towards her.

"Hey, learn to slow down a little, you still don't know the place that well, you have to be very careful, especially with the ones that are going to be here, also I need to talk to you about one thing," The demon said as he approached her then she scoffed.

"Relax a little, I am being careful, you can talk to me, I am listening," She replied and he looked at her then sighed and glanced at Kace as he walked past them in a rush, without saying anything and Nessa looked at him.

At the same time, they arrived at the front of the palace, where everyone was waiting for their arrival and Mikala approached Nessa with Zack not far from her, the girl smiled at her then she placed her hand on Nessa's shoulder.

The king was going to show her to behave but Nessa saw and stopped him then he smiled before returning his attention to the gate and just then they saw a few figures with a few other people approaching.

"How many of them are there exactly?" The king asked and Nessa glanced at him as a few things came to her mind and she sighed.

"Not too many, I guess," The princess responded and the king exhaled deeply as the gate opened then some them came out of the carriage and a couple of others came off of magical beasts and everyone smiled at them as they approached them.

"That's quite a few of them, princess," Zack said and the girl moved her hand off of Adora then nodded.

"Yeah, a bit more than expected," She replied and Nios looked at her then shrugged and she sighed as they came to meet with the king.

"Your Highness," They said as they bowed their heads before the king and he smiled at them before asking them to raise their heads up and they smiled at him.

Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at them carefully and how neatly they all carried themselves and she noticed there were a few other officials with them, ones that seemed to be their underlings and her eyes narrowed.

The demon looked at her then placed his hand before her eyes, due to her looking at them with piercing eyes and she looked at his hand and blinked.

"I get it, you can move your hand now, I was just paying attention," She said then he scoffed and moved his hand from before her eyes and she looked at him then smiled before returning her attention to the others.

"Your Highness, did Kurson make it?" One of them asked and the king glanced at Nessa and she looked at him. Stay connected through empire

"He couldn't make it but he sent someone in his place," He responded and the guy who he was talking to, eyes narrowed as he looked at the female beside him.

"One of his underlings?" The woman asked as they entered the castle.

"Yeah, he sent her to handle things in his space because he has many things to do as well," The king responded as they all headed to the throne room and upon arriving there Ira rushed in front of one of them and was about to fall since he was running.

"Ira, be careful, you will get hurt," His mother said and at the same time, Nessa grabbed onto one of his arms, pulling him back from crashing into the one who asked about Kurson and the guy looked at her then she smiled and lifted Ira up in her arms and he looked at her then his mother sighed in relief.

"You have to be careful kiddo, you could have gotten hurt, like that," She said.

"I am sorry," He replied then she patted him on his head before handing him to his mother and she collected him then thanked Nessa.

"If you don't mind me asking, who did he send here in his place?" The woman asked.

"Her," The king responded as he pointed to Nessa and they looked at her then she glanced at them with a smile on her face.
