Chapter 22: Guild: Part 1
Sorry for adding a bit too much into one chapter.

"Sarak, can you stay with the supplies? I'll send someone over to help transport it" I said.
"Yeah, sure I can't carry it all by myself," he replied.
"Good" I said then turned to Pakku "Come with me please I want to introduce you to the other nations representatives"
"Lead the way" Pakku grumbled.
Walking through the main street I lead Pakku to the guild building.
"This is the guild building, it's where you and the other representatives will be working" I said gesturing to it.
Leading him inside I spotted Go Rehi sitting at the back counter with a stack of papers. Walking over to him I said "What you got there"
Jumping out of his skin he replied "Spirites, you scared me" He took a deep breath "These are just some trade agreement papers for some merchants"
"What do they want?" I inquired.
"Well they are seeking exclusive rights to some of the dungeon rewards"
Immediately I said "No, the dungeon rewards won't be monopolized but we should offer them at a discount to encourage them to return"
"Good idea" Go Rehi said then finally noticed Pakku "And who is this old man"
With a vein popping on his forehead Pakku answered "I am Pakku from the northern water tribe. I was chosen to be their representative in talks over this guild"
"Well, welcome to the club" Go Rehi replied "Has he met the other one?"
"Not yet, do you know where Dao Mu is?" I questioned.
"He should actually be in the office upstairs," He said, annoyed.
"Well, let's go see what he is doing," I replied.
Walking up the stairs with Pakku following I made my way down the hall and into the office. Just as Go Rehi said Dao Mu was in the office sitting in the center chair.
He looked up at me and I said "Fancy yourself the Guild master?"
Quickly standing up he answered "No sir, I just wanted the to use the larger desk"
Looking at the small stack of papers I replied "Riiiight"
"Did you need something?" Dao Mu asked inquisitively.
"Yes" stepping out of the doorway I gestured to Pakku "This is Pakku from the northern water tribe he was chosen as their representative. I hope you get along"
Both of them glared at one another but Pakku decided to be the bigger man; surprisingly; he approached Dao Mu and raised his hand. Eventually Dao Mu did the same and shook it.
"Well now that that is over, We should get to discussing the guild itself" I said.
Walking back downstairs I grabbed Go Rehi and soon after all four of us were seated in the office.
"To start off I think we would like a clearer picture of what the guild is supposed to be?" Dao Mu inquired "The main point you made was to manage the people using the tower"
"Yes that is the main function but as people climb higher in the tower certain services will become more required" I said.
"Services?" this time it was Pakku that asked.
"Yes some items on the higher floors will be in demand so people can make requests of the guild and we could commission a climber to go get it, of course the guild will take some of the profits" I answered.
"Hmm, that could work out quite well," Go Rehi said.
"Yes, not to mention any protection or guide jobs. Essentially the guild is a middleman connecting people with climbers that can actually complete the job"
"That would include needing to know who can actually complete the job, sending a low level climber even by accident could cause a major issue" Dao Mu said with a rare bit of wisdom.
"True, which is why a climber will have ranks within the guild" I started "Each person can take a placement test that allows them to rank up, as long as the complete the prerequisites"
"It sounds like you already have a system in mind," Pakku stated.
"I do" I said pulling out seven metal cards "These are going to be Id's for the climber, the metal they are made of indicates what rank they are from weakest to strongest it goes Copper, bronze, iron, silver, gold, platinum, and mithril"
"The idea is sound, but I am already seeing a problem, how will you change the information on them when needed" Pakku interjected.
Thinking for a second, I had not really considered the issue in my excitement to get the guild going.
"Aww give me a second" I said aloud.
'Shop, search, metal carver'
[Shop]
Basic metal carver- 100 points
Metal Carver- 200 points
Pristine metal carver-400 points
It took almost fifteen minutes of constantly scrolling down the list till I finally realised that what I was looking for wasn't there. An idea popped into my head as I opened the weapon creation system and designed something that looked like an old-time pen.
[Shop]
Magic metal carver- 3,000 points
This carver is magical in nature, allowing you to change what is on the metal's surface without needing to reforge the metal itself. Very good at carving intricate patterns.
This should do it, I didn't realise I could turn items magic besides the ones in the store. I've been a bit busy with the town and making more dungeons in the tower. Buying four I let them drop into my hand. They looked quite nice with black wooden body and the tip was like what you would use with ink but shaped like a leaf.
"These should work," I said, putting them on the table.
"What are these?" Dao Mu asked.
"They are magical metal carvers that allow you to change what is on a metal surface" I answered.
"A Magic item? I did not know those existed" Go Rehi said.
"Yeah, to be honest I kind of forgot about it" I said.
"How do you forget about that!" Dao Mu yelled.
"One watch your tone, and two I have been busy making sure the tower functions at a consistent rate and helping with the town logistics and such" I said a bi heated.
[Congratulations! You have made a magic item for the first time you have been rewarded with crystallized mana]
'You know what, forget it im not even going to try and predict these rewards, it's all just fucking random' I though extreamly fustrated that I could have had magic items this entire time.
"I need to go, you guys figure out the logistics" I said then teleported away to the fifth floor sitting under my favorite tree.
"Now lets see what this crystal is"
[Shop]
Crystalized mana- 100 points
This item is used in various crafting recipes to make enchanted items. Simply mix the crushed item in with the metal and hammer away.
"Alright that's self-explanatory, now I have been dying to try the building system" I said to myself.
[Building: Either use the design function or simply will it into existence. This tool is meant to expand the tower's depth and add some unique structures.]
[Warning! This ability does not work outside the tower though made items can leave the tower itself]
"Alright, pretty self explanatory," I said. "How about I do this"
Opening the building function I designed a small ID card roughly the size of a driver's license. The front was blank but on the back I put a rough image of my tower of course the entire thing was made of copper.
"That will work," I said.
Making a hundred of each of each metal I teleported back to the office finding all three people still discussing.
"Here you go" I said, dropping stacks of the small metal cards on the table.
"What are these?" Go Rehi asked.
"These are the ID cards I mentioned, you can use the metal carvers to put people's information on it" I answered.
"Alright why you were gone we discussed what exactly should be on the cards, we think that it should only be the person's name, class and abilities, as well as the highest floor they have been to" Dao Mu said and everyone nodded in confirmation.
"That work's" I answered.
"You also mentioned you needed to choose a guild master?" Dao Mu mentioned.
"Yes, I have a;ready decided on who will be the guild master," I said.
"And who is that?" Pakku asked.
"It will be Go Rehis assistant, Goshen," I dropped.
"What! I think someone a bit more experienced should have the position" Dao Mu yelled.
"Like You" Go Rehi Retorted.
"I don't think either of you should be the Guild Master you both fight like polar bear dogs" Pakku interjected.
Hearing them argue I immediately yelled "Shut up! I have already chosen who will be the Guild master and if you guys keep arguing about it you won't be vice guild masters either"
That immediately shut them up and they all looked at me surprised I had lost my temper.
"I have some business to do in the tower. How long do you think until you three can finish up the logistics" I asked.
"A few days should do it as you have already secured the backing of our nations" Dao Mu said.
"Agreed most of the work is done and we can find people to work downstairs from among our subordinates" Go Rehi said.
"Although we are all forgetting the exact statistics on how to rank up but I believe a simple combat test should do it for now" Go Rehi said "Though I don't know what I would be considered"
"Okay I am going to leave and Go Rehi" I said "You would be considered a Iron or silver"
"Seriously? But I'm the strongest one" Go Rehi exclaimed.
"You will understand at level twenty" I said then teleported to the twelfth floor "Lets gear started"
Holding my hand towards the wall I watched as a bluish clear crystal started to grow out of the wall.
